Morning just make sure all documentation is genuine, so many demolition are happening and it breaks ones heart after you have invested everything
Good advice
What I'd strongly suggest, especially in that Mazvikadei area is you snake proof the perimeter fence as much as you can and move the tree line as far away from the roof and walls as you're able to. My wife and I ended up selling our house in Kambanji because of the unusually high population of snouted cobras which used to end up in our pool. The last straw was when a large one slithered into the dining room via an open sliding door.

Please share how one snake proofs the perimeter fence!
@GireMbowa Fine mesh as overlay to normal fence and rising to about a meter from ground and covering perimeter of property. No trees leaning into your exterior walls, that's asking for trouble, amongst other things
Man, I am no friends with snakes and whatever advice to keep them at a distance is appreciated. We are driving them off their territory , but I don't want to share with them
That crossed my mind. In one of our Diaspora Farmers Group someone shared information on snakes as well. I will forward to you. I am scared of them too. Clean landscaping around the house. I love trees but they can consider trimming some to enable the beautiful lake view to be enjoyed.

What is the size of the land area this building is sitting on? I seem to be falling in love with rural Zimbabwe. How easy it is for non Zimbabweans to buy land in the country?
Slightly over an acre. Specific immigration rules I am not sure but I am sure it encompasses proof of financial stability and no criminal record among other things
