As much as i love Hurt's original rendition, they did the right thing by choosing Cash's version for the trailer. It's literally about an old man reminiscing his past which is pretty much the crux of Logan.
Because in the comics, all Avengers are dead by their respective nemesis. It fits with "anyone I know dies anyway" because (again) in the comics, Logan knows the Avengers, but after killing the X-men he just let the world died on its own and well...Old Man Logan happens
Well that's on the comics but this is to the movie Wolverine and he wasn't in the the same company as the Avengers. Jackman said if they made him join the Avengers then he would continue but I don't think it will happen.
I wish disny got the rights of the Xmen sooner seeing these guys fight thanos and walvrine fighting hulk would of been freaking mythic.
