Great footage, amazing pilots and display, thanks so much. When they split pass each other, it's a heartstopper everytime. Have they ever mach looped together :D. All the best to you x
The length of the Red Arrows display depends on the weather conditions at the time of the their display, as the weather on this occasion was rather cloudy which leads to a shorter display time than normal, a full display is 22 minutes or so. I know because I have been fortunate see them more times than many other people. Their was one time at Eastbourne Airshow when they arrived it was cloudy overhead but whilst they were still displaying the cloud lifted and they were able to perform their full display to the relief of many myself included. I also try to listen to the commentary given by Red 10, who gives a valuable insight into the ongoing display at the time, including the changing weather conditions.
Knew I'd seen that place before. 8 months trade training with about 3 of those airfield side. I absolutely loved it (except when I got back-flighted by an a-hole W.O. because I asked if I could attend my grandfather's funeral! I missed about 2 and a half days of a small arms class, yet I had to wait 2 weeks for the course behind us to catch up! What an absolute ennis! However, massive credit to Sgt Willoughby, our small arms instructor, who was on my side through it all and helped me get 98% for the exam. One armourer I'll never forget and who I'll forever be indebted to). PS - thanks for the share, as always 😊
Brilliant Daffyd great vid and shots love watching what you download the pics are absolutely amazing thank you so much for the hard work you put in & the traveling thank you
Amazing video i cant wait to see the red arrows on 13th july at southport airshow as i love watching military jets old & new any airshow without the red arrows just isn't the same!
The British weather is a real pain with displays. On a clear cloudless day they are unbeatable . Just seen the Thunderbirds in Utah. Great noise and nice show. Even the Thunderbird people say the Arrows are nuts. Never seen the Angels but sure they are great too. Admiration is in the eyes for those who do it too.
remember watching the red arrows when i was around 8 standing on brighton beach where i still live , im 56 now and the noise was sooooo loud and the colours sooooo bright never forgot covering my ears lol whoooooooooooo
Two different teams, two different perspectives. The Angels predicate their display on close proximity flight-no more than 8 to 18 inches wingtip to opposing team member wing tip. The Arrows are predicated on shape throwing and smoke displays. Both are impressive in totally different ways,
For. I usually give aerobatic shows a miss because of the annoying PA announcers. The Arrows deserve to be my one time per decade watch of a show performance though. I wish the skies had been better for them on the day.
It's such a shame they have to use those Hawks... they're displays would be so much more awesome if they used something like the Tornado. They are definitely one of the worlds best air display groups... not far behind the American Blue Angels in my opinion... they are just not quite as tight as the Blue Angels, and the F18's are so much better plane than the Hawk.
Still the best display team in the world! Thanks Dafydd!

Thanks Anthony. They occasionally drop into the loop on their way to RAF Valley.
Some unique well executed maneuvers! 👍😎👍 And...they didn't stop for the rain.

Good to see them back as a full compliment. They've suffered some negative issues the last few of years. Awesome display, thanks Dafydd.
Couldn't agree more! Martin.
Thanks for watching.
I think they are the best.

Nice display
8 at once is a record for me👍
Anybody seen a larger formation?
*gotta be same model/type like here.
the red arrows wipe the floor with the blue angels anyway as the red arrows are the best of the best in the world!!!
Going to see them this September 2nd in Toronto see them I think 10 years ago in Toronto also great team.
Perfect!
美しい〜
Which place is it held?
This is in RAF Cosford in the United Kingdom.
Nope! Give me the Blue Angels anyway, any week, any month, any day. Fly Navy.

There's also an enormous difference in aircraft capability. The arrows have been flying these aircraft for over 40yrs.
Bravo!

🪬+🪬=🗳️☕️👋🏻
No you're wrong. Blue Angles are superior pilots, flying in tighter formations than RA
Better than the blue angels even their pilots admit the arrows are the best display team in the world
