One of my favorite rock bands, during the grunge movement in the 90s Blind Melon had a completely different sound and vibe, they were musically speaking more talented than the rest of the bands of the 90s in my opinion Just listen to their albums, Blind Melon, Soup and Nico, and you see I am telling the truth.
Totally agree and that’s what the 90s such a great time for rock music. So many great bands with different styles and sounds. Blind Melon however is my favorite band followed by PJ. Soup is the greatest rock album of the 90s IMO
this is one of the best performances in rock history. shannon was soo ahead and behind his time. he is one of the few that seen this world for what it is. i think he knew what he was gonna do in new orleans a month later! look at his hand and wrist tattoo's, the way he talks in the interviews and laughs when the host says hes gotta little girl to raise. its a shame mann but i kinda understand! also pay close attention to the changes he made in no rain and remember letterman performance of change
"Two songs back to back and a great car song galaxie.." Galaxie is about so much more than a car. lol. This is awesome though. Would have loved to see them live.
its really annoying... im 15 years old and im growing up with the worst music ever... i just wish that there are some bands like this today.. but no its just electronic bullshit
don't feel too bad, you can still listen to it as many times as you'd like and there are a fuck ton of awesome bands now adays, just stay away from the radio stations.
Nothing wrong with electronic pal, but if u rly wanna be one of those "I'm young and i dont like today's music!!!111!!1!1!" type of people check out Prodigy. 90's electronic, lot's of skill and talent is needed to make all different types of music.
I loved this album when it came out. Still do. "The Duke", "Vernie" ,"Wilt", "Galaxie" and others. Very underrated album...
It was a big jump musically from there first I never understood the dislike for Soup it is a great album.
The album is a 90s classic...so good. All the songs your mentioned are great
This album is so trippy. The growth between albums is incredible. I would have loved to see what came next.
IMHO, it's their best.
The ones you named are phenomenal
This song is fucking amazing. Blind Melon is one of the greats for sure
