Wow! I love your library. I would have a cup of coffee or latte and just sit there, pick up a book, smell it and drift into the story. No kids no husband no nothing. Just some "me" time until my eyes water of eye exhaustion 😅
Sutch an amazing collection, so many great books. so nic to see all the wonderful covers of all of them, something that is rare on youtube these days but I really preciate it and all the work that was put into making this. Looking forward to your next video
What an amazing collection! Love the covers as usual. I really do appreciate how well you lined up the books when showing them... the lighting is perfect! I've been a bit behind on your videos lately, but looking forward to watching your Memories of Ice video when I get a chance. Keep up the great work.
You have a wonderful library! There are many goodies for your future reading pleasure on your TBR!! Legal thrillers are some of my favorites too, but I've not yet tried Richard North Patterson. Two of my favorite legal reads are Greg Iles' Penn Cage series and the Andy Carpenter series by David Rosenfelt. Last year I read 123 books and The Quiet Game by Iles was one of the best of all I read. Rosenfelt's are more cozy with humor and a love of dogs, but still with a good mystery plot. Thank you for giving us a tour of your shelves!!
@@NerdyKathi I've often seen Sophie Hannah's Poirot novels on sale, but never got around to getting any of them. I'm curious as to how you would rate them compared to The Queen of Crime's original series.
Awesome King mass market paperbacks! I have collected Stephen King since I was 15 ( I am 55 now). But in my 30's I sold all of my hardback 1st editions, feeling he had fallen off my reading list and wanting to scale back. Much to my regret now. I prefer to read paperbacks but for books I love I want to have hardbacks too. Since I was not about to re-buy all of the Stephen King hardbacks, though, I bought all of the Ultimate Storyteller editions. I love the way they look together. The newest releases aren't available in that collection yet. So I do have the releases from the last few years in hardback or other paperback versions.
My cousin also got rid of all her King books and regretted it. I'm glad you've found new editions that you like. I've been tempted to add those PBs as well.
Kathi, what we have in common- Anthony Horowitz, Richard Osman, Ruth Ware, Agatha Christie, Kerry Greenwood (Love Phryne Fisher…have you seen the tv adaptation?) Alexander McCall Smith, I have all of his books…Benjamin Stevenson, although I’ve only read a couple of his at this stage. I’d love to know how you feel about the Agatha Christie books you have that are read. I’m a huge Poirot fan, even the Sophie Hannah books, and I’m currently reading my way through the Miss Marple books. I recently finished the Poirot’s and I would read one, then watch the tv adaptation, and I’m doing the same with the Miss Marples…then I’ll move to the “other” Agatha books. It’s amazing how different the adaptations can be. Very enjoyable all the same. I love your collection. I’m new to Louise Penny, just about to start the second book. Have you ever read an Elly Griffiths?
I haven’t seen the Phryne Fisher series as I want to read the rest of the books first. I didn’t enjoy The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency so am not sure when I’ll read his other books. I’ve read all the Poirot and Marple books and only have a few of Christies book to still read. She is the Queen as far as I’m concerned. No one else comes close. I haven’t read Elly Griffiths. Thank you for the recommendation.
Oh my God Kathi what a lot of work to place every single book and take a picture! There Perfume was school reading, I loved that book and the writing stile so much. The newest covers of Agatha christie are so ugly, the covers are the same all over the world, the previous covers where much bettet, i try to buy them before the are out of print. I like the hardcovers too but they are very expensive. You have a great collection, are you still planning to move with all those books?!
I think Jacqui and I are getting very fast at it, and it’s not something I will do all the time. Yes! I hate the new Christie covers. I’m looking for some of the old ones as well. The hardcovers are usually only a few dollars more here. Leave my books behind … never! 😂
@@NerdyKathi just checked there are new hardcover editions with stories by Chtistie. „Autum Chills” “Midwinter Murder”, “Sinister Spring” and “Midsummer Mysteries” Beautiful Covers.

Thank you so much. 😍 There is something special about being surrounded by books.
You put a lot of effort into this, noted. Love Dashiell Hammett. Best wishes.

Hi Farhad. Thank you so much for the kind words. ❤ To be honest we just used sunlight, but it came up well.
Great tour, I love your Hammett, that cover is to die for.
Thank you Sherri. ❤

@andrewhelm2813 I've read one of Hannah's so far. Once I've read a few more I'll think about doing a video on it.
This was such a fun video!!
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
What a fantastic library!!! Thanks for sharing. 😍📚👍

Where did you get those Poirot cobers? (Love the video)
Thank you! I found the paperbacks at local bookstores (I'm in Australia) the hardcovers at Amazon or bookstores.
