    Thanks for the review Alvin. Have had the Quintet 10 since 2020 and love them. I did upgrade the XO to Mundorf SGO and binding post to WBT and added some dampening to the XO board. Great company to deal with too.

    Once you hear vocals and acoustic guitar with open baffle speakers, it's hard to go back to box speakers. I find rock/pop/alternative a bit hard to listen to still with OB. But folk, jazz, piano, acoustic music...it's just amazing. Try pulling the speakers out into the room a bit more and see how you like it.

    Alvin, nice review. How big is your room?

  • @klepp19
    @klepp19 Рік тому

    No surprise here! OB is tricky ro set up. OB relies on the room. I want to see some in room frequency response plots. There are probably big peak and valleys.

    Alvin: Rig looks great.
    Just one question,
    On the X over wire going to
    Woofer ALSO wire going to
    Mid range or tweeter. Should the 2 wires be the same length ? Like in Speaker Cables ?

    • @VinshineAudio
      @VinshineAudio  Рік тому

      Thanks Mike! I use different cable length for the tweeter and woofer. But the length of these cables are identical for both L/R speakers :)

    Hi Alvin, thanks for the great videos. For the Mgico a3 you should tanke the a-pods, it make a big different in the bass.

    Hi Alvin,
    What is your opinion on the Apollo? There is very little information about it. And compared to the Kinki B7 and M7? What are the differences? Thank you. Very interesting channel by the way.

    Alvin, what is the name of the small device you are using to secure the cabling to the speaker screws? I want to order a few. I am looking into the Trio 15 model and I want a clean wiring setup like you have in this video. Thanks so much for sharing your videos on the Pure Audio Project speakers!

    Alvin, how does the Aurender transport compare with the SoundAware D300Ref? I noticed that the Aurender does not have I2S but is much more expensive. Which sound quality do you prefer?

    Those PAP OB loudspeakers are insanely expensive [6.5 K USD] and welcome to the “foam rot realm” in a decade with these Voxativ full rangers!
    These are basically small scale, batch-produced 🇮🇱 boxless loudspeakers with a hell of a mark-up! Even considering those Voxativ at 2 K+! 😏
