World record as of September 2nd.
Sad run... Almost perfect but lost 1 min for a jump slash...
There are some minor changes from previous PB. New Scaldera strat, C-up small timer savers and light fruits skip in both trials.
This run was about 5 hours before but Gymnast discovered RBM on May 5th which saves over 1 hour and he also discovered Faron BiT on May 31st which allows to skip Song of the Hero so saves over 1 hour again.

Can somebody please explain why he's playing on the title screen? And why he randomly warps back to the village to sleep in the bed again and again?
It's called Back in Time and it has a lot of applications (BiTWarp, BiTSave, Reverse BiTWarp and Reverse BiTMagic). Most ones are RBM in this run.
I used beds because you can open a shed in graveyard or get gratitude crystals only in night time.

I love to watch this speedrun because it’s incredible how you can beat the game in 2 hours by being on the game menu for half of the run

Honestly I could see it happen. Probably not with the current route but considering that run wasn't perfect and still got 2:09 it's likely that if a few new strats are found and if zero mistakes are made someone could reach sub 2
sub 2 would require some major changes and skips to happen, the theoretical limit is currently a 2:08/2:07. sva would have hit a 2:08 if he didn't fail the imprisoned fight and maybe a 2:07 if this would have used the current fastest route (which wasn't discovered at the time of this run happening)

@@asier1099 Exactly i couldnt find the crimson loftwing because i was literally blind and missed the path to the right at the end of the cave for so long and then beat the game like 2~3 years later.

I watched Gymnast86's 2:35 run, It helped explain a lot what you were doing mostly with the BiT's. If you want to watch this run I suggest you see Gymnast's run from AGDQ where he explains what he's doing while playing the game :)

For entering into Goddess Statue. It's opened after Fi escort normally but already opened in the title screen.

Awesome run! Can someone explain why the thunderhead is already accessible at 55:41 though? He just finished Eldin Volcano I don't get why it's open
i activated early thunderhead at 47:18. a scene flag of cutting a rope in earth temple corresponds to rising light tower in skyloft.
i got a scene flag for rising a bridge in earth temple and a story flag for thunderhead at the same time.

What changes from any% to a glitched if you still the back in time glitch
glitched any% uses a premade file on file 3 which already beat the game and just dupe it to a new file. it's basically a joke category and no one runs it seriously.
