i love your artwork...i love your personality...i love how great you are with your son(and it so obviously real the wonderful relationship you have with your son, it just shines with how charming and pleasant Mo is, he makes himself and his mother look like the better examples of human nature.) (i know he wasnt in this video but i just had to sing some praises i felt were due to you and your son)...i love your use of colors and how good you are at this technique. you are one of the several artist i watch religiously, and i just would like to say Thank you, thank you for sharing your wonderful art with us, and taking the time out of your day to share with us pieces of you. Thank you Lisa.
This is the first video of yours I've watched, I'm only about 4 months into pouring, but I wanted to say your personality was equally as entertaining as this video. I freaking love you and can't wait to watch more💚
Loved this video Lisa. A new way of cells without CA. I’m definitely going to try this. As for Mo’s class, they are going to have a blast. You know paintings are going to be flying off your spinner. Should be a lot of fun for the kids. You go girl!❤ Your the best Lisa. Love how you think and out of the box. Your amazing.
Great video and I really enjoyed seeing Mo’s class paintings. I bet he loved having his Mum there teaching art. It’s so funny, I did an inspired bloom painting this week using only the products I had. My video will be up on Sunday. 🥰🇦🇺
cool video thanks. just started this art form and love it. am in uk so cant get/afford flowtrol of either kind so use pva glue/h2o as pouring medium and white paint as Cell activator. so much fun being mad scientist with colour variations and techniques, love this combo.
Really liked the lesson, some of what you said I did not know. Thank you Lisa. Loved those colors. Have fun with the kids. Hope you take pictures and share.🤗❤
This was very interesting and a lot of fun to watch- you seem like an effervescent, kooky (in a good way) sort of person. I liked all the different results. Question for you (tho’ there may be a video in your archive); I have had total disasters using house paint as a base. Do you dilute with water? Pour straight from the can? Is there a particular brand that works better? Latex? Ok, sorry, that’s 4 questions…
I’ve not tried a flip cup yet, afraid my paint will go all over!🥴 But this will be perfect for me to try! So pretty Lisa, I really enjoy your explanations so much, they make sense to me. Thank you!💗🇨🇦
Really good LISA yes when you mix Americans floetrol 1 parts to 9 you are going to get cells and using Amsterdam paint helps Alot ..I love these ❤The kids will never forget this..So cool of you 😊 here's an interesting thought what do people in Australia do ? Do they mix every color with Assie flo.? I would like to see this..
Okay your painter mixed for a flip cup right? On the fluid paint how are you mixing it since you're not using the bear or the just on you. So are you just working it in a flow trial till you get the color you want? I love all your tutorial videos so informative and I take a lot away from what is share with this and thank you so much for sharing it with us.😋
I absolutely love the cells that look like Pebbles or a Rock Walk Way. In the couple years I have been doing Fluid Art I usually use the White on the bottom for sure and smaller White layers as I go. I have found it can give like a Haziness over the other Paints but also at times that’s the look I am wanting. Art is definitely wonderful and experimenting is the fun part. When I first began my Fluid Art Journey I would measure and use the typical Rules and that took the fun out of it for me. I love that you experiment.
I am not sure the metallics are heavier. I had some DeciArt 24k on my finger and i rinsed it in a bowl of water and it floated like glitter on top of the water. Fun video.
I'm curious when you're dispersing your Micah and making it into pain do you just add the three or four ounces of floetrol how do you know how much I guess see glass or he actually using since you're not using the bear because it's not a balloon if that makes sense? And I think it's a great idea and I'm going to give it a go. Thank you
What do you mix with the Sherwin Williams deep base? I've only tried 2 paintings so far and they were both flops. Can you help this 62 yo granny out lol!!
Wait a minute… Are you doing this for his birthday with his friends?🎉😊😂❤ I think I saw episode where you guys was getting ready for his birthday. Have fun with this be for Mo… If I’m wrong, I’m sorry it could be a great birthday party though lol
I guess the only part I'm not getting is using your pigments how do you get that one part ratio is it just the Joe Sonya you put that much just on you in it?
So comparing this to the Dutch for by the looks of it your pants are a little bit thicker than they would be for a Dutch poor and pretty close to the balloon even though you're using just floetrol? Thanks hun
FYI, ‘mass’ is a measurement of weight. Fluid ounces, teaspoons, milliliters, etc, are all measurements of volume, or the space they take up. They are different than mass. Yes, the same ‘volume’ of paint, will have different mass, depending on the paint, like the metalics will weigh more than other paint even though they are all……say…….1 fluid ounce. And the interference paints of Amsterdam are called, by them, Pearls. Just thought I’d let you know
Amazing video Lisa. Explained the density thing to me, better than I have heard or understood before! Thank you so much! I’m hoping you are still feeling like a scientist and a fun person, post painting with 7 year olds. If you are, would it be possible for you to make up 1 or 2 colors using just Aussie floetrol to the same consistency that you made for the kiddies? As an Aussie, I know some will hate me for this, but that is what is easiest to get, and the ratios are not necessarily the same. Those flip cups were amazing, thanks for sharing your scientific knowledge 😁👍
You mentioned portrait art and doing classes. I've been doing portraits for forty years. I liked what you said about training your brain. I think you have to learn to paint or draw what you see, not what you think you see. Especially doing portraits.
Which was Mo's painting? Waa he sad that you didn't bring Grunge? My niece's class did flip cups. She was really unhappy with their results, which aren't as nice as your students'.
So Kool I love this ♡ But dose anyone else (See the 🐙 Octopus in the first one she did ? Lol ) ? Or is it just me ? I hope someone can see what im seeing 😂 or now that I've mentioned it dose anyone see it now lol ? 🐙
😂 well no one‘s asking me, but as per usual I’m going to give my opinion I’m 61 years old lol it would be messier if they tilted it around it would be all over their gloves down their arms versus spinning it. All you have to do is put up a divider with cardboard.😊 you got this they can’t wait to see what happens. Either way they’re gonna have the best time of their lives.😂❤
You are a great teacher. Hope the kids appreciated the lesson!!
♥️

The kids are going to love you and painting. FYI. You can use a steamer to tighten your canvases.

I am sooooo sick of blooms...so was beyond happy to see you do something different....even if it was testing lol

Loved them all. Great review & the kids 🎨 turned out beautifully 🎉❤
Thank you!
The kids will love it. It's terrific. Where did you get that great container for the Glidden? And the cool pink gloves.
The paintings from the class were awesome! Thank you for the lesson. I needed it. I think too much and get in my own way.
Yes!!
Wow that looks amazing. It reminds me of a bird taking a drink of golden nectar.
Beautiful colours xx❤
That was awesome you went to Mo's class. Im sure inspired some budding new artists😁😘.Thanks Lisa for sharing!
Thank you!
I love your first one.❤
Waiting for the rest
Thank you!
They are going to love that!

I use Glidden essentials eggshell. Leave it open a few days to thicken
I’ve not tried a flip cup yet, afraid my paint will go all over!🥴 But this will be perfect for me to try! So pretty Lisa, I really enjoy your explanations so much, they make sense to me. Thank you!💗🇨🇦

Yup! Just. More cells. Will do a video :)
Awesome experiment LMA!
Yay!

Very cool.❤ should I try it? You have to wait for it. I like both. 1 part to 4 parts? I’ll rewatch. I would like to see a reverse bloom.
8 part flo to one part paint :)
What a wonderful thing to do with the kids! All their pics are amazing!🩷🩷🩷

Yes! We need to experiment!
I loved that first one. It reminded me of an alien o some planet background. Loved it. So cute. Yes I know I vivid imagination 🥰❤😂
,lovely video its was fun and helpfull thank you 👏👏👏
Thank you!
I am not sure the metallics are heavier. I had some DeciArt 24k on my finger and i rinsed it in a bowl of water and it floated like glitter on top of the water. Fun video.
That’s cool! Metallics still are heavy though :)
Thank you Lisa❤
Love it. I see a frog on your canvas
It's really nice, also the Titanium White helps with the cells....though yes, your theory does work well.
Yes! Thank you!
I'm curious when you're dispersing your Micah and making it into pain do you just add the three or four ounces of floetrol how do you know how much I guess see glass or he actually using since you're not using the bear because it's not a balloon if that makes sense? VERY HELPFUL!!!
I'm impressed also, ❤
A blue bird came out immediately!
What do you mix with the Sherwin Williams deep base? I've only tried 2 paintings so far and they were both flops. Can you help this 62 yo granny out lol!!
I don’t use the deep base for my pm :)
Thank you
🏆😊🌹 best mom ever award🎉

Looks like blue birds 🤩
What actually makes the cells, flotrole or silicone? And, is there something in your white base paint that you put around the cup?
Many things do! It’s part science and paint density :)

Yes exactly! All of these had the same measurements, but different weights :)
Very helpful
Yay!

Yay! And for sure!
Love thr first!
Why do we have to use housepaint? Isnt that Glidden essentials about $50.00 a can ?
You mentioned portrait art and doing classes. I've been doing portraits for forty years. I liked what you said about training your brain. I think you have to learn to paint or draw what you see, not what you think you see. Especially doing portraits.
That’s exactly right!
No one has ever explained what makes a cell activator a cell activator. Can someone please explain it to me?
Left Brained Artist has paint density chart links.
Oh awesome!
As true as this is you can achieve cells in the middle if you use silicone on the top colot I call it a faux flower lol
For sure!
It looks like a bird sitting by waves on the beach. Do you see it?
Yes!
Which was Mo's painting? Waa he sad that you didn't bring Grunge?
My niece's class did flip cups. She was really unhappy with their results, which aren't as nice as your students'.
Oh no 🙈
😊❤ girl…Toot Toot😅😊
I like the 2nd one better! Lol
Me too I think!
So Kool I love this ♡
But dose anyone else (See the 🐙 Octopus in the first one she did ? Lol ) ? Or is it just me ?
