Well Josh life sure has changed for you over the last few years since putting this video out. Super stoked for you and all your success and hopefully 2024 is your biggest year yet. I really enjoy seeing these old videos of tips and tricks.
Dude your gonna need to upload more. Watched the Alex steel vid earlier. Looking forward to watching you teach. I’m from Wales in the uk. Best of luck to you sir. 👍🏼
I tried this on a warped 2 mm 1084 filleting knife. The blade warped in quenching and had been tempered so was very springy. This method worked with MAP gas (equivalent) torch - took it slow, kept sanding to keep eye on the colors. Trial, without error. Brilliant. Thanks for the lesson.
Had a bad bow in a chef knife and I couldn’t get it out after quench or with over clamping during the two temper cycles... also tried the vice-3 pin approach for days...nothing... watched this video and tried it... Amazing... just a spot of heat near the spine and a bit of pulling, straight as an arrow!! Thanks for sharing !! Life saver!! Looking forward to next July’s hammer in !!

This was nearly as suspenseful as Game of Thrones! I think I held my breath when you were pulling on it!
This is just brilliant. I haven't been making knives for all too long but even i managed to straighten two bananas within minutes. Thank you so much
