I know exactly what you’re going through because I myself just downsize when my son moved out. My new home is literally half the size of my old one and with NO CLOSETS! I am currently attempting to organize my new craft room and I came onto your page for inspiration. So I thank you and I wish you only the best in your new home and with your move. 🥰
Happy new year!! I wish I was your best craft friend who lived next door! Lol. I’d help you declutter!! I enjoyed this video. Yes I’m the same craft hoarder, so you’re not alone my friend. I’m excited for you on your next move! 😊 can’t wait for you to share the journey! ❤
IMHO the dream box is great for people who have small amounts of lots of things, not those of us who have more of less categories. On my channel, in my room tour, I’ve made a great system with the Pax wardrobes system. My printers and cutters are on pull-out shelves so i can pull stuff as i need it and put it away when I don’t. My space origamis from sewing space to sublimation to formulation to paper crafts as i need it. Additionally, The Really Useful Box company makes the drawers you’re looking for. Not cheap, but very strong.
When Michael’s sold the drawers, it was from really useful box, but the price was so much cheaper than now 😭 they must’ve realized they were sitting on gold!
My craft space is so out of control it was as living room/dining room! So many printers, presses, and yes I love those drawers but need more!! They are the best. Never thought of using them for more than paper. I need more storage solutions that don’t cost a fortune! Can’t wait to see your new space.
I hear you! We downsized. My craft room was a loft over a double car garage ... like 3 times the space I have now ... 12x12 ft!!! But we make it work ... love my new house!
I have quite a collection of stuff myself. I say I will need it for next project. I had to pack up my stuff so I can relate. I’ve been eyeing the create room too. I would do a yard sale, sell online or do giveaways. You give me ideas of storage.
I think the create room would be the easiest storage solution. Have all your craft supplies in one area and then you’re able to close the doors to the clutter.
I could see buying a couple of the heavy duty tool boxes on wheels with lots of drawers and surface area for your machines but you will probably need to get rid of some of them
Oh My Goodness, you are too funny! I wish that your new Craft Room size wouldn't have to be compromised but that's the unfortunate part about having to downsize. And no, you are not alone when it comes to having an overly amount of craft items which BTW, my space is waayyy... smaller than your space and I still be trying to find an extra corner for something new but my last item that I am reserving space for is my 36 in. Canon printer and then it's a wrap, no more stuff because I do have to get a storage unit but the good thing about it is that it is for my business so I won't be taking a loss on the pockets. I do believe that @CreateRoom will be great for you and I hope that you get 1 because I will definitely be waiting for all of the great videos from delivery to setup from you! I can't wait! Im so excited for you!!💝
I wish I had that space and yes I’m a hoarder. I live in a two bedroom mobile home and my spare bedroom is my craft room and work from home place. It has a deep closet packed floor to ceiling front to back. And every space in the room full and now spilling over to dining area lol.
So excited for your upcoming move!!! 🎉But I’m with you, it could be a bit overwhelming especially when you have to downsize. I’ve actually been in the market for several of your items (laser under your cabinet 👀, to mention one lol), so if you decide to sell I’m right here 😃🙋🏻♀️
@@ashleefalcoI TOTALLY don’t blame you!!! But please let me know if there’s anything else that you’re willing to part ways from, maybe it could find a new home 🙏💕
I am a craft horder. I have small bedroom I use as a craft room and it is a mess. My husband put up shelves in the closet which has helped with organization.
Wish I had a room that big. I, too, keep all the things. Might be able to use them Someday. Sell what you don’t need. It would pay for the new husky desk
Find a to take the things to go like I have a store called scrap. people take there unwanted arts and crafts and donate them to sell them to the public at a price for the artists that don't have much money to pay for craft suppliers or see if thrift stores could sell them
Oh my gosh, I needed someone to tell me this! Because my intent with this video was to purge my entire craft room. Then I did that one closet and called it quits 😂
That's a LOT of stuff! But, if it's your business and you need it, so be it. 2025 is my year to purge. I started today and it is a great feeling. Clutter is overwhelming and I am not selling, I do for fun. Good luck with the move and the sale of your home.
Tbh the thought of shipping anything but my cardstock sounds awful 😭 only because I have boxes & shipping supplies for cardstock and not for all these larger items.
I have a love hate with sublimation and. It has taken years to master it if you even can. It is a constant learning curve so if you aren’t into that then it will never be something you love.
It's not really the learning curve that gets me, it's the constant wasting of expensive blanks. Unlike laser crafting where you can test cuts and projects on cheap cardboard sublimation you have to use the blank only to mess up and never be able to do anything with it again.
@@ashleefalcoI definitely get that! I have a cabinet full of them. People ask all the time “who is Daniel” I say I have no idea it’s one of my first mess up mugs. It has become a family joke but it is so frustrating. And I don’t like selling things of cheap quality so I don’t use cheap blanks. I have wanted to get a laser but the choices are so overwhelming!
I have had to move my “craft space” 3 times in my house. Between Mom moving in, Christmas, and now it sits in my kitchen/dining room. Ashlee my heart bleeds for you. The idea of you having to downsize, hurts my heart. I get it though. We have to go bigger. Selling a house also in SC, but we live in NY…
😂 I seriously was on the phone with him a couple weeks ago and he said “ashleeeeeeee why hate it so much!?!” I’m like Tanner, you can be the king of sublimation. 😂
Do you think the @CreateRoom will be a good fit for me?
No. There are better, less expensive options available.
I know exactly what you’re going through because I myself just downsize when my son moved out. My new home is literally half the size of my old one and with NO CLOSETS! ❤️ happy downsizing! It’s a blessing for the actual home (less upkeep yay) but a curse for us crafters 🫠
I’m excited to see how you organize your new craft castle.
I think I have an idea on how it’s going to look. We’ll see 😍
I’m happy I’m not alone with this problem!!
I’m happy I’m not alone 😂

i'm so excited too! Counting down the days.

Yes the problem is it’s not trash! It’s all good stuff!!
And all this good stuff has so many more uses than what it’s sold for ❤️

I love reasonably priced storage options!
I hear you! We downsized. My craft room was a loft over a double car garage ... like 3 times the space I have now ... 12x12 ft!!! But we make it work ... love my new house!
Sounds like I’m doing exactly what you’ve done. My new space is just smaller than 12x12!
I have quite a collection of stuff myself. I say I will need it for next project. I had to pack up my stuff so I can relate. I’ve been eyeing the create room too. I would do a yard sale, sell online or do giveaways. You give me ideas of storage.

I want to say Joann’s has the storage towers and hobby lobby too. Check online though
I’m gonna run to Joann’s, I’ve never seen them there but I’ll take a gander.
I could see buying a couple of the heavy duty tool boxes on wheels with lots of drawers and surface area for your machines but you will probably need to get rid of some of them
If they sold those in really pretty rainbow colors I’d totally be a buyer!
I definitely have this problem!!
so glad there's a club forming LOL
i kept a house and moved into a smaller one and regret so i want to move back to it! I was renting it out😁
We’re definitely selling our house. It’s too much upkeep for us.
Oh My Goodness, you are too funny!

The new room I’ll be in doesn’t have a door 😂 I can already feel the craft supply spill over now 😂

I think that crafting situation is in my future 😂
@ I sold my m1 ultra and my F1. I’m regretting that. Don’t get rid of things you might regret

that cutie f1 i'm keeping, she's too cute to say goodbye to LOL
@@ashleefalcoI TOTALLY don’t blame you!!! But please let me know if there’s anything else that you’re willing to part ways from, maybe it could find a new home 🙏💕
Get the dream box I love mine
I really leaning towards it.
I am a craft horder. I have small bedroom I use as a craft room and it is a mess. My husband put up shelves in the closet which has helped with organization.
Shelves & doors is a craft hoarders dream come true 😂
Can’t encourage you because….I was probably your twin in another life!!! 😂😂 Good luck anyways! 💪🏼💪🏼😀
😂😂😂

Tbh the too big of craft room can have its minuses I think I’ll enjoy having a smaller space soon.
I think the DreamBox would be great for you!
I’m seriously considering it 😍
Yep I’m just like you!! 😊
❤️❤️❤️
What time should I be there to take your hand me downs to my home lol
Gosh I wish
Find a to take the things to go like I have a store called scrap. people take there unwanted arts and crafts and donate them to sell them to the public at a price for the artists that don't have much money to pay for craft suppliers or see if thrift stores could sell them
I’ve heard of those types of art stores! I need to figure out if there’s something like that here in my town.
Take one corner at a time and walk away when you start feeling overwhelmed. 😊
Oh my gosh, I needed someone to tell me this! Because my intent with this video was to purge my entire craft room. Then I did that one closet and called it quits 😂
I think Angie’s country cottage has that closet organizer
I’m gonna check her out!
I would love to be your neighbor lol I’m just starting out and really need all that stuff so I will gladly take it off your hands lol
❤️❤️❤️
Omgsh! My craft/sewing room is much worse!! I’m trying to downsize my “treasures “ a little at a time!!!! It’s hard!!
Tell me why I hate sewing but keep holding onto all my sewing machine supplies and fabrics 😂
That's a LOT of stuff! But, if it's your business and you need it, so be it. 2025 is my year to purge. I started today and it is a great feeling. Clutter is overwhelming and I am not selling, I do for fun. Good luck with the move and the sale of your home.
It is so liberating to let go of stuff! Overwhelming though to go through everything 🫠
Put it in the group and see if anyone wants to purchase it, but pay for shipping.
Tbh the thought of shipping anything but my cardstock sounds awful 😭 only because I have boxes & shipping supplies for cardstock and not for all these larger items.
That is true.
I could be your crafting BFF. lol
come on over

Selling a house also in SC, but we live in NY…
Downsizing is what’s best for my personal life for sure. But holy cow the idea of a smaller craft space is scary. Crafting has always been my therapy.
renting a place would defeat the purpose of downsizing-maybe keep the house😁
We’re not renting a storage unit, it’s why i gotta declutter lol
I'll take all ur sublmation blanks and your organizing skills please and thank u😊❤
I looooove organizing! It should be my next profession
I’m seeing used give aways in your future.
oh that is a great idea!
I’ll
Come help I’m right down the street
I need your number. Lol
Sell your sublimation supplies to Tanner 😂
😂 I seriously was on the phone with him a couple weeks ago and he said “ashleeeeeeee why hate it so much!?!” I’m like Tanner, you can be the king of sublimation. 😂
@ 😂
Are you moving out the area?
The ones they have now are cheap
Cheap in price or cheaply made?
