Our opinions on ts4 are basically the same, although I don't think mods would help me play it even after it's stopped being updated. 😂 I had never considered the way the achievements in the newer games put more focus on the player than the sims, but now that you've pointed it out, I fullheartedly agree! It was super interesting hearing about your experience with modding and all of your past and upcoming projects. I hadn't heard of the salary overhaul but it sounds amazing! I loved hearing your opinions on the ts2 mysteries - especially on what happened to Bella. ❤ Thank you for making this! I'm glad your work situation has calmed down. Update: I have also recently started playing League of Legends again after taking a long break from it so yeah thats a pit I've fallen into and another big time suck!😆
Hi Gabby! Great video, thank you so much for answering all of these questions. I kept thinking to myself as you were talking "OMG, saaaame!" - especially as relates to The Sims 4, and Life By You & Paralives, and also about how easy it is to get bogged down with the list of things to do to prepare for a new series rather than just starting it. Procrastination and low motivation are so hard to overcome. I felt what you were saying about being let go of the old job and then getting this new one, and that weird time in the middle, is that structure helps you to get more done. For me having no structure & heaps of time makes me actually less productive than if I can go, "I have this time and this time to work on this". I hope that your new job goes well!! ❤️ Loved hearing your insights into modding - I'd really love that food mod 😅 yes I have way too much custom food in my game that I'd need to make work with it but I've been meaning to redo my cc foods anyway so could be good timing haha. Take care of yourself and best of luck with the new job! Looking forward to whatever you release in the future x (P.S I also need to upgrade my PC for Cities Skylines 2 🙈🙈)

I’ll definitely have to release that food mod soon then along with a tutorial on how to update custom foods. I want to revise my foods folder too because Jacky93 has been releasing some gorgeous things I don’t have yet. We should compare notes on PC shopping then!😁❤️
@@BellaDovah Jacky93s foods are the reason I need to redo my cc foods folder!! Lol. For the PC upgrade for me it's thankfully just the Graphics Card that needs an update, the rest of my beast is fine. I've been rocking the NVidia 2080 for the longest time but the new recommended spec for CS2 is like a 3080 with at least 10gig of vram?? So I've asked hubby for a new GPU for Christmas which hits that benchmark but we will see, GPUs are still so expensive 😭 and I'm like, is it worth spending the money trying to get something in the 40-series just so then I don't have to upgrade again quite as soon? I don't knowwww aha
@@TeaAddict haha! Oh thats good at least its just the one part, I think I’d pretty much re-do the lot. I still have a 1080. Im not sure about where you are but I think in the UK the 4070s are a similar price to the 3080s, similar performance but the 4070s run a lot more efficiently and have and have a few other improvements so that could be an option - probably what I’d go for!
