Are there areas that this board excels over the PYL Uninc? And do you think the 158 is too much board for someone 5'7", 140 size 8 boot. Was looking at the PYL Uninc, but now you've got my attention . . .
I think this is better on a groomer honestly. 58 is a bit big but if you want to charge, send it.
Hi Angry, I watched this review... watched it again a couple of days later and now, as I write this comment, I have watched it the 3rd time(plus, I also watched a significant number of times the under hyped boards video, where you mentioned the borealis artefact first time)
Now, after much questioning, I've gone with the shadowban, immediately after I sold my hometown hero - I'm a only one board type, as mtb-ing and mountain bikes keep me almost broke so, I decided long ago that for snowboarding I will be forced to adhere to the limited investment, maximum fun ideea -
I don't know why(probably regressing at snowboarding due to the amount of time invested in actual riding) but, the Hometown Hero feelt worse to ride with each season(not worse as much as lefting me a little disgruntled), all the while my fitness was getting better, preparing myself for mtb enduro races; after just one ride, the shadowban brought a satisfiying smile back to me. The question I want to ask you is..., this borealis artefact is the board I should ride after two seasons on the shadowban or not?, would the pyl uninc have been just a grippier, wider board but more similar to my HTH than these other two(artefact and shadowban)
You just bought a new board and you're asking about a board for 2 years from now? Lets see where you're at then. Also I didn't bother reading this wall of text.
@@AngrySnowboarder I like doing plans on medium to long terms but, you're right, for the moment, I should just enjoy my current board.
The only reason I asked was because borealis seemed to change the board every year and so, the thought was "maybe I should get one in the nearest future and keep it locked until I need to change the shadowban"
