Welcome back to Day 2 of Post Spawn Loskop Lunkers!
On day 2 we faced yet another day of tough, tough fishing. The overcast weather was amazing to fish in because it was not to hot and with how the morning started, I thought this day was going to be something special. Then again, everyday on Loskop turns out to be something special!
I managed to get my first fish on the Googan Lunker Log! You can most certainly expect to see me using it more often in the future! The Lunker Log is PACKED with salt, which makes it sink quite fast, even when fished weightless.
From about 10:30 the bite died completely, so we got off the water a bit just to get out of the heat.
As we got back on, we went back to the spot where I got that fish on the Lunker Log, as we pulled up to that spot, we spotted 3 Rhinos on the bank! That was a really special sighting!
We managed multiple good fish on this day, the average size we were catching was 1Kg+. Only 2 fish were under 1Kg.
Every time I fish this venue, we learn a little bit more and fall in love with it a little bit more. You really need to get onto this dam if you have not fished it before.
As I said in the previous video, this venue can be ultra tough but is just as rewarding!
