Seems like there are more '70 SS Chevelles now than there were in 1970!
While there are alot of clones the prices these demand are pulling them out of the fields and garages and making it worth restoring them.
Tons of all kinds of muscle cars in SE Michigan bub. Never saw more clean classics then in that state.
The one my grandpa used to have had a paint job like this, what a beast of a car.
My two dream cars were made in 1970. Chevelle ss 454 and the Dodge Charger 440 hemi
I had one but it was black with silver stripes and it was a beast. I found it on a used car lot and that was 79. It had 59,000 miles on it and it was $1750.00 I saved $400 in 4 weeks and the bank loaned me the rest.
That’s a great story, most every car that is collectible today went through a few years when they were worthless ☹️

When a 1970 Chevrolet SS car wears black paint, it will be legendary under the New York street lights.
It is a darn good looking car, only thing I saw was that it had the wrong year trunk Chevelle emblem. The 70 year emblem the Chevrolet part of it was under the Chevelle part not to the side like it was.
