Okay so how many likes to get Sharpson to agree to do an album of Irish drinking songs with me 🙈😂
YES!!! Please do it!!
Yes! And YES!
Hell ya!
Sonny & Ciar(a)
You have had a lot of good ideas, but this may be the best one yet!
Apologies to everyones eardrums in those first 30 seconds, but when it comes to Paddy's day THE SONGS MUST BE SUNG!!! 🎵🍻
Remember the Alamo!
Ciara everything you do is CHARMING! 😄
You don't like Tequila? I'm so heartbroken😞
Also, the Queen of Alcohol has fallen?😲 Quick, someone needs to get you to an Irish distillery!😂
Which song was it? i didn't immediately recognize the tune.
I loved it :)
Ciara tries durian: "Not that bad"
Ciara tries 95% alcohol: Analyzes the flavor
Ciara tries green beer: BLASPHEMY!
I love how much Callyann was into every drink, she's such a ray of sunshine.
I COULD'VE MADE MY 'CABBAGE COCKTAIL' FOR YIZ, ITS TRUDITION!!
Go away LEATHER JACKET GUY! 😝
I guess that they weren't having that! I'm funny...
Darien fruit beer is very green
Cabbage is peak nutrition,so yea should've happened and im american
I got an idea “the leather jacket guy “. ( BAILEYS IRISH + RUM + SMIRNOFF + TEQUILA) I don’t drink
Happy St Patrick's Day! 🍻
And To u Misses From here in 69 deg F ARIZONA
Wish you were there Claire.
Happy St Patrick's Day to you and your husband🍀🍻
@@d-baserox2773 From Phoenix, windows open, lovely day. slainte.
Hey, right back at ya!
Ciara is HILARIOUS. The "cucumber being the patron vegetable of the Irish people" I'm crying 🤣
After 60 yrs of being told by the orphanage that I was Norwegian, imagine my surprise when the DNA test said I was actually Irish. I have found cousins and my biological fathers name. He passed 10 yrs ago but I have since learned that he had other children but I don't think they know about me. I don't want to cause any upset. My plan is to come to Ireland. Until then. I will watch your videos and laugh. Thank you. May everything wonderful come your way❤️
I've said it before, I'll say it again: we need a "Drunk Irish People Try Singing Traditional Drinking Songs" after one of these shoots. :p
friggen aye we do!
COLIN you best payin' attention.
Drunk Irish People sing about Republicanism
This. So much
Genius
Callyann: "...you make it home on Paddy's Day? You're doing it wrong!"
Words to live your life by.
Yes...it's all about waking up, looking around and trying to figure out where you are, and how you got there.
Combined with the comment - "This smells like mistakes will be made on St. Paddy's Day"
Man, I've only been out once on Paddy's Day, and I'm 34 now. It was 3 years ago, and like below zero or close to it, and no one else was out.
@@jessegelhof1756 cool story bro 😎
Well, he didn't say he'd make it home under his own power... :-D
"You give this to kids as their first drink." The most Irish quote ever.
I am half Mexican, half Irish and I feel like the Irish Cactus is my heritage in drink form. Also, fun fact the Irish that helped Mexico in the war have statues raised to them in Mexico City in respect to their sacrifice. My abuela always points it out to me haha
Recognized the fateful green Absinthe immediately.
I loved the pall of horror and/or sadness that fell over everyone when they smelled the absinthe.
I would like to try absinthe but it's illegal in the us
Richard, did you mean to say "Recognized the 'fatal' green absinthe immediately"? Just curious.
@@mightyryan1456 Absinthe has been legal in the US for the past 14 years...
@@IceMetalPunk I didn't realize they legalized it in 2007, my mistake. Found a website that sells it.
"Even Ciara made a face!"
"That was not good, Colin. Not good at all".
Also Ciara a few seconds later:* another sip *
@@darkljs And after that, Ciara makes another face :(
Having both Irish and Mexican heritage I know what cocktail I'm making next.
I just LOVE the Irish accent. "Someone took a wee trip to ikea". Fricken love it.
I love the Irish accent, and this channel..So funny xxx
I won’t lie. Loved them ALL! I feel so festive again!
Loved your enthusiasm!
Alcohol will do that.
Glad to have you back in a shoot!
Magic
I agree with Ryan, I absolutely love you Callyann.
Ciara: "It should have absinthe in it. That's green." A couple minutes later trying an absinthe drink... "It's not great." Lol
Yeah....be careful what you wish for, right?
Trust Ciara.
it was absinthe and beer, Ciara and beer don't go together well.
Reminds me of a Liberty Meadows cartoon where Dean the party pig challenges the bartender to make him a drink that he can't drink. And he's putting 'em away like Ciara.
The drink that finally felled him? Water.
"If it was a true St. Paddy's day cocktail, just give us a little bit of whiskey, a little bit of ice, and then just put the glass away and give us the bottle." - Ciara 8:47
Words to live by right there
Listening to Callyann speak Gaelige was hypnotic! It put me in a damn trance! Watched that part like 4 times. Lol. And John calling Eadaoin 'my love' was super sweet. Also love the longer hair on Richard. Great video. Slainte to everyone at the TRY Channel! 🍻
Callyann speaking in Irish was the highlight of this video for me. Add this to the pile of montage videos Try Channel needs to make along with Martin giving 10 out of 10 on every whiskey he ever drank.
Martin 10 out of 10 has already been done. Best of Martin
Ciara speaks Irish too, ( the on 2 that can apparently ).
Callyann reminded me of Bridget from that tv show
You mean speaking gaelic
Watching ciara destroy everyone else's alcohol drinking abilities makes my day every time.
It’s like watching a pro football team play a high school. There’s Ciara and everyone else.
Total opposite for me..... reminds me of the youngester at the party that tries to act all bad but you know its because they havent had years of horrible drinking stories, hangovers and close death experiences with drinking too much 😆😆😆😆
Everyone else : this is really strong
Ciara : this is grand
@@Macfeste maybe everyone she's been paired with. Sharpson is a true paddy
@Adolf Hitler 🤣🤣🤣🤣 good one ...... im only couple years older than Ciara but thank you sweetie pea 😆😆😆 its just funny how most dont notice the faces she hides when she drinks. Most times she has this face she makes seconds after trying a drink but holds it back and makes a comment to contradiction the face she was so obviously hiding. Its called a poker face.... shes got a great one, i definitely give her that🤣🤣🤣 but very untrusted. Seems like a not so honest or maybe, possible deceitful person..... tries to be what she thinks people want her to be. But whatever, have a blessed day, flower.
Im a tequila drinker normally so on Paddy's day tried the Irish Cactus. LOVED it!!! Thank you Try channel!
If they don’t give us a video of Ciara and Sharpson singing Irish drinking songs at LEAST give us all a playlist so we can pretend.
"Our ancestors did not fight for this."
Ciara is just the goddamn greatest.
On the hand, they did fight a lot of losing battles...
@@hhale Don't make it worse by forcing them to drink whatever Colin just created.
@@hhale but eventually defeated the biggest empire in the world with nothing but a bicycle and a tall fella named mick
@@jimmyryan5880 It's been my observation that the Irish are some of the finest people that God graced the planet with...they had the misfortune of living too close to Britain, and was promptly shit upon by everyone that seized that island, or at least the better parts of it. The only unluckier people in that respect in Europe were the Poles.
[serves a double Whiskey Tonic]
Ciara: “There’s not enough whiskey for me.”
ikr?
To be fair, she probably thinks a cask of whiskey is a nice intermezzo between more serious cocktails.
"There's not enough whiskey for me" is what's written on Ciara's banner.
Just give us a beautiful Irish whiskey, a little bit of ice, and then just put the glass away and give us the bottle."
I just started laughing when she said that.
"I feel like if it was a true St. Patrick's Day whiskey cocktail just give us like a beautiful Irish whiskey, a little bit of ice....an then just put the glass away just give (us) the bottle"
Ciara with possibly the most Irish statement of the day
The Chieftains have an entire album dedicated to the St. Patrick’s Battalion called San Patricio which has numerous Mexican musicians including Linda Ronstandt and Los Tigres Del Norte.
Ciara needs to be the grand marshall of every St Patrick's Day parade everywhere, every year!
I'd like to place an order for one Ciara led St. Patrick's Day Party next year. Gotta bring the celebrations back with a bang next year. She's perfect.
So glad Éadaoin is back after her time at the seaside!
sadly she didn't die there
DELIGHTED to be back 🍻❤️
@@ggr4010 what the hell?
@@ggr4010 get bent.
I think we get super stoked about Saint Patrick's day in the US because so many of us are Irish descendants. A lot of people in the US cherish any ancestry that we connect to and we use it as an excuse to decorate, eat to access, and have an all around good ol' time 💚🍀
When you hear an Irishmen say " wow this is good why haven't we had this before" chances are it's a good drink.
So how mad were Shannon and Ciara when they saw how much food coloring was in their “Shamrock Shakers”? I’m guessing that was the first try. 😂😂😂
You find out there's a double in the Whiskey Tonic and Ciara is like, "I feel like there's only a dropper full of whiskey... "
I was totally about to post the same thing!
Just put the glass away and give me the bottle.
In Chicago it's very much a tradition to have green beer on St. Paddy's Day. We also dye the Chicago river green for the month of March on celebration.
It makes me smile to see John and Èadaoin back together on try. Johnny you are AWESOME! Sending everyone from try channel love from Edmonton Alberta Canada!! From Danny boy
Lá Fhéile Pádraig shona daoibh go léir 🍀🎉 HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY! 💚 As soon as the pub opens I'll be requesting Bailey's and tequila shots for everyone 🍻🥃
Feliz Dia De San Patricio!
Doing that in the US for everyone. Happy early St. Patrick's Day, amigos.
I just want to know what sort of filthy lies jon told you to get you to give him a second look. 😉 just taking the piss, Sharpson seems like a great guy
“We don’t need green nuthin”. Hahaha!
🍻
"Ah look, you never know what I start me day with these days..."
Nominated for 'No Truer Words 2021'.
Callyann really grew on me with this video. She has depths I never knew.
Can we talk a minute about how amazing Ciara's hair looks in this vid?
I think she went darker and it is WORKING.
I can't tell what she changed about it, but I think I got whiplash when she appeared on screen. (And I was already looking that way!)
Jumps her from a 10 to an 11
Ciara's shade to Colin saying that Try didn't need to branch into cocktails was a grade A perfect drag. *giggles*
😭😭😭
Sharpson needs to sing more often! The man has the voice of an angel!
@Mark Longoria..... I can’t decide which song I like best. 😊
Aye! His singing is as wonderful as if the baby Jesus himself was dancing down me ear channels....Then dancing upon me ear drums while wearing his new Christmas morn slippers.
He's been teaching on the Irish remote learning channel for youngsters
I want the try to do "The Best of Try: John Sharpson". I feel like going with him to any pub will be a blast! Love when this man start singing ahah he's always makes me look up the songs he sings aha
Well done, except when Ciara makes a face you need to throw the recipe away and burn it.
Eadaoin makes a remark about being sixteen with absinthe in an alley in Portugal and a dodgy time in Berlin. My hat's off to her if that was all part of the same (mis)adventure...
Bonus if it was the same day!
"It taste's like a dingy club in the UK." I've never had that, but I know exactly what John means. Hell, I can taste it right now sitting in my chair, here in Oregon.
Right? Like, I felt that comment in my stomach.
Yay oregon!!
"It tastes like a club in Oregon"
When my brother lived in Texas he once threw a Dio De San Patricio party where he celebrated Mexican St. Paddy's day. He had green Dos Equis and a shamrock pinata and probably some other stuff I am forgetting because it was 15 years ago but it was pretty fun.
My inner history nerd got really excited when they mentioned the St Patrick's Battalion - I don't know how well-known they are elsewhere, but hardly anyone I know in the US has heard about that chapter of history
Is it just me or was Shannon's and Ciara's Shamrock Shakers more green than the rest?
A lot greener.
Yayyyyy Richard
Yayyyy Baileys!
Happy St. Pattys!
He held his own against Callyann!
@@Psyconkers that's not correct
Ciara O'Doherty has a lovely singing voice, and I could see her and John Sharpson doing a few Pub/Sea Shanty songs together.
You picked the best group of fryers for this video! It so wonderful to see them all really get into every drink. You just want to be friends with all of them, and make them cocktails!
I’m from Chicago and there’s a huge Irish contingent here! We dye the the river green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
Originally from New Orleans here. We throw carrots, cabbages, potatoes, cans of Guinness, and stereotypes from our parades.
@@facubeitches1144 oh that sounds good can you post the recipe!
I think Callyann's sunshine personality helped carry a few cocktails over the finish line. I mean, beer & absinth? But she greeted it like it was the best thing ever.
💁🏻♀️And her hair looks FABULOUS...
Why did Ciara's and Shannon's Green drink have more of a Neon Green color to it than everyone else's?
They must have mixed up the drinks seperate for each shoot and just kinda eyeballed the amount of food colouring they added to each drink
HAPPY ST PADDY'S DAY!!! I FINALLY BOUGHT MY FIRST TRY CHANNEL SHIRT!! I've been wanting to get one to support you all forever!! I've been following you guys for so long!! So happy I can finally support and show off your awesome merch!! 💚💚💚💚💚
Oh, I didn't know Eadaoin and John were a couple until now! Lovely Couple!
An alcohol viceo finally got a reaction out of Ciara, this is a momentous occasion.
I had to rewind it to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Lol
Best combination of tryers in a while, and I love them all.
Ciara: “I usually don’t like Tequila that much”
meaning - she will still take a shot of 75% ABV tequila with a smile, just maybe won’t ask for a second shot 🤷🏻♀️
I love when the pub songs start coming out. Those are my favorite episodes.🥰
Johns face when he tried to cheers at the second drink 🤣

Absinthe, ugh... Last time I had it, my friend had to take away my keys.
He's paraplegic and had no problem mugging me. Of course, I was face down in the parking lot.
No, I'm not Irish.
There's a distillery here in Florida that makeS a natural red absinthe .... I know I've had it. I remember waking up on the floor a few times.

That is evil funny
@@steventripp3946Who are you replying to? Is your reply due to the S that I've just noticed that I missed?
Good to see I'm not the only one with similar experiences of it.
My two memories of it was just after I'd drank it (did it the spoon and sugar way) and laying down outside watching the moon with headphones on.
And then coming out of the memory loss of it right as I was mid way jumping across a pool fence and landing face first onto the bricked ground.
Never had it again.
🇺🇸 we love St. Patty’s Day. It’s one of the few holidays here where we don’t have to listen to people complain about something. Everyone is just happy. Even. Christmas can be a pain in the butt here because we have so many Karens that make it miserable, but St. Patty’s Day everyone just has fun.
We need to have a Try Channel Couples video, with Richard and MC, and any of the other couples, especially if James and Sean are on.
Ok, John has an incredible singing voice. When you do Irish Try Drunken Bar Songs he and Ciara should definitely be on it. You’ve been out drinking with all the Tryers Colin, you must know who the best/or funniest singers are.
Fun video. One of Mexico's President's was named Juan O'Brien and he was nicknamed Captain Colorado !
Not so. John Thermond O'Brien (Juan O'Brien) went to Argentina in his mid twenties and joined the army there. He fought in Uruguay and the War of Chilean Independence and eventually became a colonel. So, not a Mexican President. You may be thinking of Juan de O'Donoju y O'Ryan who was the last Spanish viceroy of Mexico and was of Irish descent.
@@John-gv2ug Thanks I stand corrected . Also I appreciate the information .
@@harrisji You are most welcome.

I made the mistake of drinking 26 green beers one St Patrick's day. It was then that I realized green food coloring makes you sick.
How are you alive?
It was definitely the food colouring lol
Ah.... Yes. The food coloring was the issue.
Pretty sure that 26 beers make you more sick than food coloring
