Yer not that bad I need shorten drop links and the delete the bump stops but doing good, it all depends on your wheels offset if you have the wrong size the will smash your arches,
@@ratsix2085 mine are 225/40/18 what what I mean is the wheels its self size the offset if it has to much the wheel sticks of to far and rubs the arches
Can I ask where you bought coil overs for your rear? Just got lowered springs on mine and because it’s got a fully loaded camping interior the suspension bottoms out when anyone’s in the back
You will find now your just sat on the bump stops . Will just bounce around. That low i had to cut mine down . Easy to do but then will drop even more. I sanded the lip off the bump stop holder too
New subscriber, love the videos mate 👍🏻 when I lowered my T4, I spent the week leading up to it spraying the tension nuts every evening. It paid off..... a little too well as I went to move the first nut and it was so easy that whacked my knuckles on the fuel tank 🤣 totally different story when I changed the torsion bars though lol 👍
A wire brush and some elbow grease would of loosened those bolt maby some heat . I know fuel tank but could of shielded it with a bit steel plate Just saying 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁✌🤞
Hi, Great video, thanks! I have the same van. I'm curious if you can still get under car park barriers with the roof rack on and the suspension lowered?
Thank you very much I am trying my best I currently have a broken hand so can't film anything at the moment. Funny you should ask that last week I actually went into a multi-storey car park and fit under the barriers with ease which I was very pleased about I think I even took a picture haha
I left it at 8mm or 6mm of thread at bottom of the bolt and it was fine no re adjust no rubbing very pleased, little stiff and bumpy but I'm fine with that. It's one of them Jobs u need to do but don't rush to do haha
Smashing video mate. I'm going to be doing mine soon and this was still helpful even though I'm familiar with the parts. Did you ever get around to doing a video for fitting the coil overs on the back?
Thanks mate I made this as I found it hard to find info, only really on old forums. I have actually just made the rear video and going to edit it up in next few days, so keep an eye out for it
Your welcome i just want to share what I've learnt as I know its strange the way its done theres a few more on my channel about lowering and I am planning on doing a full walk around and showing everything in one big video
If you keep some weight on the wheels, i.e. load on the torsion bar, it's much less likely to drop out when adjusting (unless you make it too loose). Biggest point when doing this, is have the van on axle stands. If you dont, and the T piece pops out then splat!
Thanks mate hope you enjoy the videos. Lovering kit as in shocks and springs or full kit including revocation parts and poly brushing ect or just enough to be low
@@petejel313 well I not sure on the offset of the wheels, some 4 or 5 inch lowering springs for the rear and some gaz struts seem to be the way forward, but depends on how long you want it and the offset of your wheels so they dont rub and how much weight you carrying ie bed cupboards ect
howes the lowered front doing...I did mine and the wheel arch took a bashing lol...todays roads aint velvet

It wasnt on the bump stops but I lowered it more so it was but I have another video I need to post where I cut my bump stops down to 15mm
@@PranceProject wow im suprised. It was all the was down on the thread. Lucky i didn't have to replace mine. The nut turned pretty easy
Mine was a right pic but nothing and grinder didnt solve haha i want to go more low and proper tuck tyre

hi i read somewhere that the nearside bolt adjusts the driver height is that correct ?
Mr prance nothing to with lowering ,but trying to track down roof bars ,did yours come with van or after market , appreciate any help.
Mr roof bars are meant for a t5 need a little reshape but was easy really, and you will need loads of silicone to weather proof it

Thanks mate, I know I’m a sinner but my T4 is slammed and drives badly. I’m now going to do the reverse of what you did and lift it up lol
Sionomo me😂cer
Was it OK after you drove it? Or did you need to adjust it again? Got to readjust mind a bit more actually, did mine a while ago

Hey
How many inches are your wheels?
And how wide and high are your tires?

Axle stands are a must if you ever lifting and vehicle up especially a heavy van.
Good work M8 looks easy ;) But does it works other way too? I want to lift my van bit more..
You wouldn't need to do as much to lift it just tighten the torsion bars up really and maybe longer struts and bigger springs at the rear
