I especially really like the skeleton list and the g/w deck, i did get got by King Darien before though, he only protects tokens. Kutzil might be a good include also, with lords out you'll be drawing card also and forcing interaction on their turn. My favorite card is Darksteel colossus, i just want to sneak attack him in with Arms Race or cheat him in some other way, i think that could be fun for me.
I'm super excited about Surrak as a reprint. Playing it into Ghalta and giving Ghalta haste! I did this Pioneer a long time ago and it was great. Now we can do it in standard! And with Llanowar Elves to turbo it all out. I may play UG to just splash counter spells against sunfall decks.
To give your elves haste for activated abilities, use Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler Planeswalker. Archdruid can tap for mana right away, so you need some stompy stuff to beef up the team like Overrun. Wild thought if you can get the mana from Archdruid is using Preposterous Proportions and buffing the team +10/+10 and Vigilance. Another elf idea is a mono green stompy adding Fierce Empath to grab a mana 6+ creature like it did for Craterhoof. Wilt-Leaf Liege would be the perfect sideboard card against discard decks.
I was so sure I'd see a potential white or Orzhov lifegain deck here now that there's a 1/2 Soul Warden and Ajani's Pridemate to go with Case of the Uneaten Feast and Essence Channeler, not to mention Amalia and some other potential goodies for that deck like more cards that drain the opponent whenever you gain life.

You're going to want to counter the million sweepers in the format now, and there are two flash creatures in the format that gives other creatures flash. Play pattern would be wait until they tap out, play your lords and elves on end step to give them all psuedo haste. All the sweepers are at sorcery speed, so you can run a high number of creatures with counters and protection in play.
I’ve really liked having a copy of tinybones joins up in orzhov reanimator, it can win you the game the turn you reanimate valgavoth and serve as a discard outlet. I would cut a mutt from your list for that

Nahiri's Resolve - 5 mana RW enchant, Creatures you control get +1/+0 and have haste. (hope to hit with genesis wave) 7.) Imodane's Recruiter - 3 mana R Creature, When it enters, creatures you control get +1/+0 and gain haste until end of turn. 8.) Keldon Strike Team - 3 mana R creature, As long as Keldon Strike team entered this turn, creatures you control have haste. 9.) Enduring Courage - 4 mana RR enchant creature, Whenever another creature you control enters, it gets +2/+0 and gains haste until end of turn. 10.) Song of Totentanz - Rx sorcery, Creatures you control gain haste until end of turn. (splash R and cast for 1 R after Genesis wave) 🙂
Hey d00m, the best top end i found was Surrak and Goreclaw from MoM. But maybe if you go genesis wave for x=6 you are already winning anyway lol. I also thought of including the tyvar planeswalker as well. Looking vor v2 of those decks :)

Elf Tribal has no shot with only 1.5 playable mana dorks. Standard is so insanely power crept, and games end so early, that you could port the full Pioneer Elves deck with CoCo and Chord and Warmaster, and it would just be an okay deck. We're talking a standard with Pyroclasm, Temporary Lockdown, Day of Judgement, and Sunfall. Maybe if WotC reprinted Monster's Advocate instead of the bad Vivien, the deck would have something to ramp into that gave it some resiliency. On the bright side, Archdruid will definitely make Pio Elves better.

Orzhov reanimator looks sweet as hell, but having no 3-drops leaves a huge hole in the curve. Also, is overlord that good when there’s only 8 creatures you actually want to rebuy to your hand?

i been playing red prowress deck alot lately, the Bx midrange decks seem to trounce it by the virtue of 50000 removal spells. they seem like they will have issues with a deck that doesn't need their creatures to beat you.
@@MrXrockax Not to the extent it is now. The red deck has never been as fast as it is now to kill you. Blockers do very very little no matter how big they are against the red pump deck. Have you even played?
@@warwizard87No the matchup is close to even. Leyline in the opener and all bets are off. I lost a mythic game last week where I played turn 1 cottage and never saw a turn 2.
Where's zetalpa on urborg scavengers list??? Zetalpa is the best one. Also, need to use spells that can reanimate the big ones like zombify. You could use atraxa and zetalpa.
I know this wil be psycho magic but.... hear me out Voja jaws of the conclave is still legal in standard and pseudo craterhoofs your elves every time he attacks
I'm not sold on the tomb robber pirate and i think there are enough one drop creatures in the deck, so I'd run 2 spell pierce and 2 floodmaw for tempo, and change Lannery for the other Malcom

Bitter reunion gives haste when you sack it for 1 mana. Might not be terrible to splash red also gives a bit of reach/ remove with the burn spells

It's mostly for milling over creatures tbh, and it can also be a threat later in the game. Maybe Preacher in the 3 drop slot could be ok

If u play BO1 u always need a way to handel aggro decks. MonoR lose easy against removal and a big blocker or a controlly aggro deck like UW humans.
