The sound mods are just amazing. Wind noise on high speed, different airbrake and engine sounds plus the traffic sounds changed the game completely for me. Roaring Detroit Diesel while shifting it manually is the best thing ever!
Sachiyh- Great presentation of some excellent mods. I tried the AI traffic noise, but removed it after about ten minutes. Found myself sitting at a light in a city and still heard the NASCAR sounding cars speeding by when there were none (ex - around 9:30). The sounds were cool but did not reflect what was actually happening in game, in my opinion. Thank you for another well-done video.

Maybe they want keep game not too demanding on PC so the gamer base can be wide. Digital Combat Simulator is much more advanced than ATS, but very demanding on PC leaving behind many potentional players with lower end PC`s. One can`t have everything.
Hi, I have a question, does anyone know the ATS mod that changes the time and distance in the game to real? I know there is something like this for ets2 but I can't find it until ATS knows someone like that maybe? I would be very grateful 😉
The mirror FOV mod at 02:50 is just nonsense. When driving such heavy long vehicles you NEED TO SEE the structure of the vehicle itself to judge distance and clearances. You need to see part of the rear cab, the trailer etc. Whoever made that mod must drive a little Kia hatchback!
I don't see the point of the "Google Maps Navigation" mod. As far as I can see, all it does is change the route marker from red to blue. Can someone tell me the difference?

Well, they already started letting trucks come into and park in big truck stops/travel plazas, at least in newer map DLCs. So maybe in 5 years or so, we can hope for chaos and madness in the freight yards too ;)
I'll probably be part of the only few who would be playin in outside view most of the time. I kno its a simulation game, but i like the outside of the trucks just as much as the inside views
Playstation needs to add to there system & Software American Truck Simulator! Since there's already truck driver, Will there be double trailer 18 wheelers? I'm think a little about american truck simulator something similar! We'd love tunable - there should be customizable 18 wheelers! Yes. They are compatible with new version of the games only different is mods are also updates when the game updates. but it takes some time to mod authors to update their mods.

Click the game and Go to WORKSHOP, search for the mod and click “SUBSCRIBE” when you find the mod. The mod will automatically be added to your mods list. Then you will have to go to your player PROFILE and actually add the mod to the profile from your available mod list. If you use a lot of mods, it makes a big difference where you put them in terms of order from top to bottom in your profile. There are videos about what order they need to be installed in the list so recommend you check those out. The terrain background map should always be the top mod in your list. For other mods not in the workshop, they may have to be downloaded as .zip or .rar files extracted then placed into your mod folder on your PC. Also videos available for this process.

Exactly! That's why the mirrors looks so different on a heavy vehicle compared to a personal car! Keep in mind tho that these "realistic" mods are made by people that has a personal car driving license at most, maybe not even that. These people doesn't understand the need to see parts of the vehicle in the mirrors at all times, because you don't really need that in a personal car.
@@SACHIYH I think that’s the case, I’ve only had the game and gaming pc a week or so, still learning stuff. I thought I’d be able to use a sound mod and no matter what engine you had in it sounded like that but I don’t think that’s the case.
In the part were it was raining why did you not use any lights and why didn't you get a fine for night having lights that's not realistic and it's actually dangerous to drive without lights on in the rain
Realistic Graphics is being reworked at the moment. The last game update broke the mod so the creators are having to rebuild it. The last update I saw about it was in March and they said they were going to get it working again, but no update to the mod has been released yet.

Bad internet I have. But model quality change better I think. Dial edges smoother maybe.
The only difference is the gauge bezels and mirrors are smoother/rounder at the edges.

Yes. They are compatible with new version of the games only different is mods are also updates when the game updates. but it takes some time to mod authors to update their mods.

Which one? If you are talking about engine sound pack all u have to do is download it and drag it into the mods folder and select the engine you like.

from the engine menu you can select default engines and moded engines uncheck the default engines and then you have the moded engine pack
