China 🇨🇳 which has more or less the same population has built a lot of cities which are much better than our tier 1 cities and that too in a span of 4 decades.
Bengaluru and Hyderabad are great. But we need more alternatives to distribute and not over crowd these two beautiful cities.. Beautiful cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai what Kolkata also polluted and destroyed due to overcrowded people
North East Indian State (7 sister states) is a good option. Green, Clean, Educated People, Hilly Green Topography suitable for Tech Companies. It'll bring them development that was ignored until date.
Then you have misunderstood the problem, feudal software is found across India, they just manifest as a linguistic, racial or caste movements. MP & Bihar are doggone. Even Gujarat had the Patidar protest, which should be classified as an upper caste but get reservations.
Banglore needs to be replaced by a neutral city which welcomes talent all over the country. Locals from banglore really sucks . Meanwhile Hyderabad is emerging as a good option
It should be in a place where weather is awesome. Because you can build infra but can't change weather and it does play a big role. Also, a place which is not hostile to non native people. Place between Rishikesh and Dehradun is great for it!
Thank you Caleb for another great video. New planned startup city without the infrastructure pain of Bangalore would be great. But of course not an easy thing to pull off. Perhaps better to focus on a few technologies so the concentration of talent would be better. Best regards - Rahul
Suggest having new city somewhere in Eastern Side of the country as it lacks a lot of infra development, except chennai all major tech hubs are in the western side of the country, orissa Assam Chattisgarh could be good options
Yeah right. You need to spend a LOT more on R&D, be risk taking in promoting emerging tech, and create a lot less bureaucratic system. Just registering 1000s of startups-ups doesn’t mean we can be a Silicon Valley.
The Next Silicon Valley should be In New Town, Kolkata Already we are building an upscale 250 acre BSV. MNCs, Data Centers are already rapidly growing. This would be gamechanger for Eastern India as South and Northern Tech centers are already developed.
I see few people not happy with this statement.. most probably it is just s political stunt but if this really going to happen.. this would be for good.. just imagine, how many issues would be resolved..
It's a joke to even think of having such a city elsewhere other than Bangalore as it's going to be a flop for sure just like the gift city that is struggling to get investments naturally . Bangalore is the only city in India in the top 50 startup ecosystems of the world so instead growing this ecosystem will be better instead of building a failed one as rome too was not built in a day but took years too. The government of Karnataka already has plans to build the largest knowledge city of the country consisting of research institutes, education hubs, startups and more and is called KHIR city which is near the airport with all the required infrastructure and it is going to be spread over 2000 acres so it would be better to invest in a project like this than to look elsewhere
