Kim you are blessed. What lovely grandchildren, and the fun of being on a farm with them, letting them explore!. I love the Met, would take my class of middle schoolers there and to the Museum of Natural History for guided tours. Thanks for sharing.
Wow. You are the most wonderful Grandmother ever! Such a natural and easy way with the kids. And your knitting is beautiful and perfect. Thanks so much for sharing a slice of your life!
Kim you are truly blessed to have all these beautiful grandkids. I love seeing them enjoy nature and just being kids. Your Here Comes the Sun sweater is simply gorgeous! 😊
Kim, you're a lovely grandma. I only have 1 grandchild, but looking forward to having more. Your grandies are so delightful! Really enjoyed this episode. The museum looked awesome.
That is exactly what it is. We all love each other and get along. We never fight. But we definitely drive each other a little crazy sometimes... :) Kim
Such adorable grandkids! Brought tears to my eyes... mine are far away and I don't get to spend/see them as much as I would like too. You're a lucky grandma!!
Oh what fun with the grandkids. My favorite part was watching the older two hold hands on the hike. My daughter (now 33) had that kind of relationship with her cousins too.
Kim! Bravo with all the singing. Love seeing all these littles. You are rich beyond measure. And they are all so lucky to have such and engaged and inspiring Gram!!! ❤️
Kim you have quite a fan club! Best purple haired Grandma on you tube!! I was exhausted after your walk at the farm, you and your daughter are troopers. Great memories for the cousins.
Kim this was so darn cute. What a blessing to have all those beautiful grandbabies 💕 your oldest grandson is your twin😍 love love loved this catching up episode.
Your grandlittles are so adorable 🥰😻 Fun seeing all your wips and swatches and that fun yarn! 😂 I got tied just watching all the running and climbing 😅
The kids had such a fun day! I'll also be participating in the mYak/Julie Hoover/Knitting Posse KAL with a Terrace wrap in baby lace, color saffron. I had my eye on the Thayer vest - maybe another time, and in a less expensive yarn.
Oh thanks Kim! They are all so precious. Making memories out in nature and being together as family. The best. And of course…….your knitting and sharing that journey is fabulous.
I just found your podcast through It is a Sara podcast. Watching old episodes and thoroughly enjoying them. I hope you do the Favourite baby knits podcast as I'm a new grandma and wanting to knit all the baby things. I loved this episode with all your grandchildren. Thank you so much!!!
How lovely to spend time at the farm with your energetic grandchildren. Your completed jumper is so pretty, you certainly have been busy knitting. It was also lovely to see shots of the famous museum and to see a section of their exhibits. Enjoy your future visits. 🇬🇧
I'm so happy you enjoyed our little adventures. I figured, if I put all of the extra footage at the end, those who aren't interested can just turn it off. ;) Kim
Such a cute episode! Loved to meet some of your grandkids and how excited they are about your channel ❤ My nephew tells everyone that I am on TV with my Podcast and I am enjoying this until he realizes that we could all be on UA-cam 😊😊😊 He is 5 ❤ The footage of the farm was so sweet. All the animals and your cuties enjoying themselves so much. Hope you and Jonna have a great weekend!!! Oh, and we haven’t been at the MET yet!! Can’t believe it!! We went yesterday to the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx for the first time and loved it!
My grandkids are definitely excited to have a UA-camr Grandma! And Muscoot Farm, King Kone, and the Met are all amazing! You should definitely to to the Met... :) Kim
I loved seeing your grandkids as I have 3 of my own and get THE biggest laughs from them. The park is a gorgeous and educational place for the kids! The silent trek hearing only your footsteps on the path, I couldn’t help but wonder what was going thru your mind. Although a beautiful experience, For me it would have been, “ How much freakin’ further do we have to go????” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Teresa, I loved the sound of the crunching rocks under my feet too. That's why I decided to leave it in and not cover it up with music. I also decided not to speed it up because that would have ruined the relaxing rhythm of our hike. As for what I was thinking... I was just thinking how much I love to be in a place where my grandchildren can run with relatively wild abandon, where we don't have to constantly say "no", where they are so busy and excited that they forget to fight, and where they can enjoy and observe the natural world. :) Kim
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna Kim, Yes,for sure! I was lucky to have grown up in a small part of country in the middle of Dallas, a horse stable right across the street! We played there, at the pecan grove/creek down the street, the lake that was near us…and just all over the place. Granted, it was the 60’s and felt a lot safer then but we had nature all around us. Very blessed. My grandkids have to be driven to a nature area to walk in the woods. I’m taking them to the stables soon, now that they are old enough and won’t be scared of the horses or the tons of peacocks that roam the neighborhood. ( or chase them , hahaha ) Take care and thank you for your videos and Jonna’s too !
Do you ever watch Emma of Tiny Desk Knitting? She is a church music performer and always has something going on, but her schedule for Holy Week sounded insane. She is also a great knitter.
You are more than welcome to bring yourself and your lovely sweater to Western Montana and model your gorgeous sweater. High today will be 45 degrees. We can still find snow and slightly cooler weather if you go a bit north, closer to Glacier Park. 😀
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna It's a beautiful place to hike. There is a great old time grocery store in Polebridge. Polka Dot Sheep-a local yarn dyer has a lovely shop in Whitefish.
Hi Kim! Nothing better than a day at the Met! I love the Cloisters too (also part of the Met membership) especially on a nice day--suggest you check it out as well.
Your grandkids are so cute! I can't imagine having 5 grandkids, much less 7! We took our kids to that farm when they were still in strollers. lol! I don't think we covered even half the place as a result. Your grandkids are the perfect age for that place! OMG, climbing rocks is such a thing, right? And King Kone! It's funny, I don't think we've gone there except maybe once or twice. Ah well. I LOVE your finished Here comes the Sun! Gorgeous! I would have done that with the sleeves too. I lived through the balloon sleeve era, didn't like it then either. lolol!
Thanks for sharing, Kim! I will try to go and meet you gals on the 29th! I tried last year but we were not successful because of time constraint! You gals will be the first podcasters that I meet in person if I am successful at going! I love your Here Comes the Sun! I voted for that design and I knew you would do an awesome job! You are are such an amazing person, mother, and grandmother! Your grand kids are cute, adorable, and lovely! Enjoy the grand bundles of joy! ❤❤
They're so funny, right? I don't even really know what Roblox are. But last week, my 4 year old grandson was playing Pac-Man! And of course, I know what that is. :) Kim
Good question. And honestly, I get a little grouchy when I can't knit. But I just keep a project near me and with me at all times and pick it up whenever I have a few moments. :) Kim

Your grandkids are absolutely precious!
Thank you so much!
I love to hear the crunchy footsteps on your walk. Great grandkids.😊
Me too! That's why I left the audio in and didn't cover it with music. So relaxing and meditative... :) Kim
Awesome video. They will all sleep well. So adorable.
The squares would be great as wall hangings with children playing embroidered towards the bottom. Could add a tree or swingset...
Such adorable grandkids! Brought tears to my eyes... mine are far away and I don't get to spend/see them as much as I would like too. You're a lucky grandma!!
