OMG the last soloist! WOW
OMG I know right!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍
Sometimes, all you can say is 'DUDE!"
That young lad (with glasses) at the end has an amazing magnificent voice!
Yup, totally outstanding
Such a strong voice! Beautiful! Like NYC Broadway worthy!!
yes best of the bunch
He also knows how to use a mic.
His name is James Sillman 👍🏻
Wow!! The soloists were amazing but the final soloist was something else 😮😮
The last soloist is going straight to Broadway
Fantastic!!!! The last soloist has a great potential.
How can something so tragic sound so amazingly beautiful
the last one killed it
My husband was a Vietnam Veteran and this song always makes me cry. But it was sung wonderfully!
Welcome home to your husband from a fellow Vietnam Vet.
@@jimc5096 thank you, he would have appreciated that. And thank you sir, for your service.
Wow, the final soloist! Hairs on the back of my neck stood up. What a star!
As a 75 yr old South Walian living in Australia, for 52 years, this brings tears to my eyes. The talent that is out there on the streets and which you have thankfully brought together is testament to the power of music and singing. Any of those soloists could have a future in singing. Keep up the good work in giving those boys and young men another purpose in life. Da iawn 🏴🏴
When I saw Miss Saigon on Broadway all those years ago, this song hit me like no song ever has. Well done. 👏
My God in heaven, what amazing talents. You boys are a credit to yourselves, your choirmaster, your parents, your teachers, and just... wow! I have to say, this is one of the most moving musical theatre songs of the modern age, both in sentiment and musicality, and you boys did it justice. And that last young man with the voice that tied it all together to finish, was just breath-taking. That, my friends, is a West End voice if ever I heard one (and I've heard a few)! In a world of greys and shades of dull, you boys bring light and colour with your voices and your commitment. Thank you.
Outstanding! All of you.
That outstanding Welsh Tone!!!!! Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
Though the song is intended to be sung by American soldiers, it was obvious to this American that it wasn't Americans singing it. I agree that the tone was very lovely. Such great talent! 👏
Oh my goodness. I thought each one of the soloists were amazing, and they were, until the last one opened up and sang like that. My goodness what a beautiful voice to be blessed with.
That kids voice at the end... literally brought me to tears! How do we get more of this young man's talent???
Brilliant Solos and Harmonies. Just stunning brought tears to my eyes. 👏👏👏
This song, this song. I saw Miss Saigon at the Kennedy Center decades ago. It was Bui Doi that had me bawling openly for its sad and meaningful message. Thanks to your group for bringing back that feeling.
no kidding zeyev. it's a phenomenal show and this song epitomises all that's wrong with the world. what a fantastically sad song that had me openly weeping as well {and many other times during this magnificent show}.
what a wonderful rendition these young lads do.
and i love the play on words for their group name.
awesome job.
xxxxxxx
The solo singing lad at the end; his voice is magnificent!
Magnificent!!! Well done boys! Well done!!!
Once again extraordinary. The soloists were all great - I particularly appreciated the last two. Harmonies were beautiful
I was at the opening night of Miss Saigon in London all those years ago with Lea playing the lead, and when this song came with Peter Polycarpou & film of the abandoned kids in the background it was such a choking moment. Still one of my top musicals.
agreed max. i've seen this show a few times and each one was as perfect as the previous one was. if you wanna sob all the way through a show, with tears of love and joy and sadness, then this is a must see. it's one of five of my second favourite shows {if you can figure that out, lol}.
i abbasolutely love it, and this is a most moving version of this song. well done boys and congrats on showing that it is possible to be a young man and have discipline and love in your hearts.
and what a great play on words for a group name. loved it.
there is hope, there is always hope ...

Agree with Everything ypu said
...and, it really touched that you acknowledge that there *are* good, young men, in the world
Hope.
Amen to that.
@@rugby8-Philadelphia hello there rugby and thank you so much for taking some time to reply to me.
whilst it must surely be a universal truth that the world is in such a state because of soooo many men behaving badly, it is with tremendous hope and faith that i do see a percentage of men stepping up to the plate and learning the responsibilities of how to be a decent human being.
and people like you and me are seeing this.
hallelujah
yes hope, thankfully the good goddess above, below, beyond and within us all allows us to hope.
amen to all of that,
xxxxxxx
Awesome thank you blessings
How utterly, completely, and intractably moving this was. I am shaken to my roots by this powerful song. Thank you for your hard work and enormous dedication.

Ohmygawd! The soloist with glasses ! His career is waiting on Broadway, or London.
Sick. These guys are just plain sick. The third guy's voice makes me melt. And yes, the young "lad" with glasses has an awesome voice, also! Always save the best for last, right? Wow! Just wow!
Powerful performance lads ,very well done by all. I still think the show Miss Saigon is still relevant today across the World. I am pleased OBA go's from strength to strength and it's a credit to see the young men of Wales willing to carry on with Welsh traditions. Greetings from Australia :)
Oh my that was beautiful. All the solo parts are again fantastic and the guy at the end (with the glasses) really got me and I felt the tears rolling down my face. Absolutely powerful and beautiful performance guys, Just wow.

Hope to see you in Cardiff one day!
Absolutely beautiful.
Very impressive. I've always subscribed to the hallmark of a great choir being all those voices, and still, you can understand every single word. Impressive choir. Impressive soloists. I'm glad I stumbled on this one
Wow... That was surprisingly affecting. Lovely choral sound, with some especially effective soloists. Well done, lads. This was special.
The lad could easily do musical theatre. Totally Brilliant
Wow. One of my favorite musicals. Great rendition, brought back great memories. Thanks! God bless.
Missing Miss Saigon in Sheffield as I'm abroad, so this is a perfect substitute. I think the final solo young man will be in musicals one day, he was exceptional ... thank you for sharing this wonderful video...
One of the original OBA worked in the West End after he left the choir.
That was amazing! As a rule all their soloist are impressive, but the last lad was really special.

Goosebumps and shivers all over my body
Marvelous greetings from the Philippines! Subscribed. Love it
So much talent these young men have... Bravo
A resounding "well done" to both the boys, and Tim Rhys-Evans. Both the music, and the cause behind "ONLY BOYS ALOUD" is beyond commendable. Not only does the young men, and Tim give us some of the best choral experiences you could hope for, but it shows the boys that singing is COOL, and with passion, hard work, determination, and conviction you can achieve anything you desire. Such a blessing for Wales to have the boys, and Tim!
Bravissimo!
Wow, esp that LAST GUY really GOT ME! Impressive!
Wow! Great Choir! And amazing soloists!

They touch me in my deepest feelings, It makes me want to cry ❤
Heartbreaking lyrics set to lovely music. Only Boys Aloud is a powerful messenger.
This is a miracle: to have so many boys standing still, singing beautifully instead of jumping around and provoking each other to a fight! Yes, it can be done. Have faith, teachers, parents, and choir directors.
Great voices.
Brilliant well done boys
