Ha, look at Eddie with the classic upside down V build. And Gene was at the top of his game here. By 67 where M. Shu would make periodic appearance's. Gene was still a marvelous musician, but he wasn't forced to play every single gig that came in as was Dave McKenna and Eddie, those guys improved every day until the end of their career. Also they were very humble geniuses and American Treasure's up until the the very end. Neither was bitter about the public recognition due them. Dave McKenna and Eddie Shu, both made, encouraged and supported musically a hell of a lot of musicians either sound a hell of allot better or grow to be a hell of allot better. I mean that 2 VERY GENEROUS human beings who cared more or equally as much for others as the did themselves. That's more of a God gift to humanity. They both were out of the limelight where the money grows on tree's yet had even better than that, loyalty, support and respect from every musician on the planet. It is two bad, that they didn't get the rewards that popular stars get (something wrong with that fundamentally) . I mean I would have paid to buy the Eddie Shu Lunch Box and Action Figure, or waited in line at the movies to see Dave McKenna in Hawaii beat the crap out of a bunch of bullies in a speedo than drive off into the sunset with Barbara Eden! Haha!
GOATed.
