I find it hard to believe you went to Lago Atitlan from the border and passed up Quetzeltenango en route. Would have saved you all kinds of headaches!!! It was silly of you to do what you did!!! I have traveled extensively through Guatemala! Also did what you did, yet went to Quetzeltenango instead of Lago Atitlan, silly silly!!! And for all to know, YES, I rode my bike from Mexico to Guatemala and entered what looked like the same border I have crossed. I've crossed all but 1 Mx/Gt border. So many issues could have been avoided in this episode. Keep traveling like that, you're bound to find trouble!
I have only watched a couple of your videos. Great trip and good videos. But what really stands out to me is pushing your days and ending up riding around unknown towns in Mex Central America at night. For that matter any driving in those parts at night. Very dangerous, and things can go very wrong in the blink of an eye. Hopefully as I continue watching your videos you get that sorted. You're very lucky to have Cali who can speak Spanish fluently, make sure you take care of her. Antigua is a beautiful city 👍
NO rear brakes!?! What a teasing cliffhanger! I can’t wait to find out what happens next. No more adventures until after you do some editing, JK Thanks guys.
We haven’t really ridden at all yet. We got back to Colorado from our work season last week and have only taken the dirt bikes out. This is all from last fall when we rode down.
@@SpeakEasy2 You know, we don't have any plans really. We are heading back to Baja to kiteboard in a couple weeks and will stay there until the end of December. Then back here to Colorado for a winter ski trip of some kind.

I'm going to go ahead and say that you would not enjoy traveling with us.

Yeah we always push it a bit too far but it all worked out in the end.

Haha we should have another out this week.
Did you have to buy insurance for the bikes in every border? If so who did you got through?
No we didn't need it at every border. We went with Lewis and Lewis for Mexico. In Central America we didn't have any insurance.
How long have you been riding this season?
We haven’t really ridden at all yet. We got back to Colorado from our work season last week and have only taken the dirt bikes out. This is all from last fall when we rode down.
@@AdventureRig Oh that makes sense. What riding plans this winter?

@@AdventureRig That sounds great Tyson, I’m sure are ready to have some down time.
