Your approach reminds me of every good athlete I know - "it's easy, just do what's natural" - I love it. I just turned 73, I haven't touched a club in five years. My last few years I had developed the best swing I ever had (I felt like it anyway). I am sure it was because I started doing things with my swing that were more related to "natural motion". I'm headed out to the range with a much better attitude after watching your video - thanks.
Alright, a fellow senior. Nice hearing from you 78. We will hopefully both get there soon. You know what I mean. Later 78Tag.
HA!, HA!..... I want to thank the algorithm for sending this my way. It definitely was worth the price of admission! LOL I can see Y.T. golf instructors coming after him now. Hang in there, mate. This was good stuff! 👍🥃🍸
My wife and I are still laughing at your post Paso. Can't thank you enough. I am so looking forward to those guys attacking me, bring it on, because I will continue to dish it out. Keep laughing Paso, later.
Excellent concept. So you want the swing to be as natural as possible. Then tweak the natural movement rather than starting from scratch. Love it!
Yes, a swing is not put together with pieces. the pieces are the result of a swing. You can break a swing up into an infinite number of positions, but they're still just part of a whole, and they can't teach a million different positions. Not that they wouldn't love to try. I am obviously anti-instructor, and I will be going deeper into that in my very soon to be released videos. Thanks so much for the comment and I hope to hear from you again.
💯 agree
I think it's just simple, basic common sense.
Position, position, position.
Sean Foley (and others) ruined Tiger. Never saw him chunk so many chip shots.
Like Leadbetter stifling Seve, this nonsense of rehearsing static positions paralyzes a natural flow.
Butch was best at developing a player’s natural instincts. Tiger’s loss.
Fairways and Greens!

Great Video, keep up the good work.
I'll be skipping stones this weekend!!
That's funny, because I always say I haven't golfed in a few months now. I just go out skipping stones. If one of them doesn't skip very well, so what, I'll do better on the next one. Thanks so much for the comment, User. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Later.
I'm 61, been playing golf since I was 18. MANY different swings over the past 43 years. I've been bogged down so many times with different swing thoughts. Grip, shoulders, hips, feet, ball position, wight shift, no weight shift, keep weight on left side, left arm straight, keep arms and elbows tucked in, etc... WELL NO MORE! Thanks for this video, you've earned a new subscriber!
Can't thank you enough Jerry. That's my goal, get rid of all the clutter they force onto us all. Later Jerry Turner.
Awesome video, I've been so caught up with making complicated setup and swing changes that I've completely lost sight of keeping things as simple and natural to my body as possible. This is the most valuable lesson out here, thank you sir!
Thank you Eddien. Glad you see that. Wish everyone did. Later.
Haha, I stumbled upon the same thing on my own. Makes the mystery of golf swing less mysterious!
Love it Raburu. Thanks for the comment. Later, I hope.
Really enjoying your videos bud. I wasted decades trying to learn the golf swing the “conventional” way and all I got for it was inconsistency, injuries, and frustration. A few months ago I discovered Jimmy Ballard and my game has improved 100%. I find his teaching has a lot of similarities as yours. I don’t worry about keeping my lead arm straight anymore or my head still or any number of other crap the modern day guys teach. My swing is now just like a throwing motion…..effortless, natural and my head isn’t filled up with a bunch of swing thought nonsense. Love your style and looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
I can't possibly thank you enough Meots. What you described is exactly what I'm trying to display. We would all be better at this game without the worries. Let's have some fun!.Thanks again for the comment, Meots and hopefully will talk to you later.
I met Jimmy at a PGA Coaching Summit in Australia Year 2000. Still flushing it.
@@dougkercher9741 Awesome, I know he’s getting up in age now but I believe he still teaches. I would love to attend one of his camps. I discovered his teaching through his vhs teaching tape which you can find here on UA-cam called “The Fundamental Golf Swing”. It’s about an hour long and I learned more in that hour than my previous 66 years combined.
I also have his corresponding book…”How to Perfect Your Golf Swing”. It’s out of print now but you can still find used copies. It’s completely changed my game and I got immediate results.
I finally have a consistent, natural feeling swing that I don’t have to think about. At age 66 I’m not only enjoying golf more than ever but I’m playing the best golf of my life thanks to Mr Ballard.
There is a big difference between being a teacher and an instructor. Most of these instructors haven't got a clue about teaching. Thanks for the comments, guys. Later.
I love it and thank you so much. I can't wait to see the next video and you are freaking hilarious. You have absolutely made my day. Oh, I've been playing golf for 55 years.
Thanks so much User. The fun has only just begun. See you soon.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas on the swing! I have a bad habit of being too technical with my thoughts and ideas 😢
Most of us do. My goal is to help free up our minds and treat the swing like nothing more than a bunch of kids having fun skipping stones at the lake. It really is "almost" that simple. And no, John, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Talk to you later.
Makes sense, great job!
Thats what it's all about. Good old common sense. Thanks for the comment, William. Later.
I'm 68, and this concept is logical and doable. At this age, the body doesn't flex the way it used to do. Making these simple adjustments will make the game more fun. BTW, I played a 9 hole round barefoot once, since the course was very wet, and played my best round ever. Keep up the good work!! CHEERS 👍🍻
Most excellent Crazy Biker Paulie. Believe it or not Paulie, the guy who I introduced as Paul in that video, actually is my crazy ex biker friend Pauly. Keep it up Paulie and later.
Genius.. golf should be as simple a skipping a stone... thanks for reminding us to keep it simple. Simplicity will relax your mind.
That's what I try to do Kendoan. Thanks a lot for the compliment and I hope to hear from you again. Later Ken.
Well, skipping a stone well isn't that simple! Tried it recently and I could not get more than 1 or 2 jumps. As opposed to 10-12 when I was a kid and did that regularly. You have to get the angle and speed just right!
You are totally right, good for you and thanks.
Thank you and good for you. Later Mr. Barry.
Thanks, I like it so much. Much, much of truth behinds!!!!
Same back at you. Thanks, I like it so much. Later Rudolf.
I’ve been golfing for forty years, and plateaued with a nice game in the low eighties. In the past few years I’ve also hit on this Hogan-esque idea and my handicap dropped below 4 inside 2 years. IMO it’s just the right way to think about it. Fun and easy. Great video!
Sounds good Elindauer, fun and easy. Thinking about it differently can make all the difference. Thanks E. Later.
Dude, this is legendary! Thank you!🙏💚
Thank you too, From the Blonx. I always seem to write out the whole name when they strike me as extra interesting. Later From.
New subscriber here. Glad I found you. What you say makes a lot of sense.
Thanks for everything, Robert. Later.
Ray as it sounds just tried it in my net and it felt so simple and sounded so powerful be interesting to see where the ball ends up when playing but am going to give it a go 👍
Absolutely no harm in trying Gary. What's the worst that could happen? Hopefully you can build on whatever happens. Good luck Gary and I appreciate the comment. Later.
Great Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
Thank you Chellos. Later.
This is interesting, I adopted this a few years ago after seeing different videos talking about skipping stones and tennis forehands but ditched it after I struggled with thinning the ball, looking at your video I think I know where I was going wrong, so I’ll give it another go 👍
Thanks for the comment, and good luck Daves. Later.
I've been playing this crazy game for over 55 years. I've read many books from the greats but never have I read anything as simple as what you said about the golf swing "skipping stones". I've had some great rounds of golf and I've had rounds where I felt like what am I doing here. I call the bad ones out of body experiences. I've never taken a lesson but I booked one today to see If It would help me . I'll be practicing skipping stones when I warm up. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you so much Konrad. Hopefully all goes well and try to just relate all the moves to something you've been easily doing for most of your life. Good luck Konrad and later.
After 2 weeks of using your concept, I fade the ball and hit fairways. Two things of which I didn’t know existed. Thanks a lot.
It did the same for me, a nice little fade that I never had before. Never a slice. And no more bad hooks. Thanks NYC. Later.
This makes so much sense.. I have given lessons for many years , breaking the components of the golf swing down ..There are 28 swing thoughts that paralyze you when you are standing over the ball .. Skip stones across the water ...makes it so simple and it works
Thanks for the positive feedback, Bob. Really nice to hear from someone who has obviously studied the swing. Later Bob.
@@TheSmokingGolfer I have been a Golf Teaching professional for many years, I retired just over 10 years ago and now I want to play and enjoy the games Skipping
Stones has made it so much more fun.. Really wish I had taught that way in the past Bob
That is so refreshing to hear Bob. I wish you the greatest of luck and enjoyment in doing whatever you want. Thank you, later.
God bless you two gentleman.
God bless you too, B-Rundens Lyfe. Thank you and later.
Most sensible approach I’ve ever seen. Maybe this can get me back on the course 🤞🏻
Hope so, Joseph June Ski. Thank you so much. What does the ski mean? Later.
I totally agree, I've had loads of lessons. I was getting worse not better. I'm 60 years old, I've been on my own journey for the last 14 months trying to figure it out myself.
That skipping the stone procedure is the best way to swing a club. In the last couple of months down the driving range I'm getting through the ball. Proper golf shots, I'm a 18 handicap, but with my new swing thoughts, I hope to break 80, I'm still pretty fit for my age. My driver goes 260 yards now. I just need to hone what I'm doing.
So glad someone has come on UA-cam to take all the bullshit out.
I felt like a cash cow for my golf pro.£92 for a lesson now with him, about $117 . Best of luck in your endeavour . I have subscribed.
I really appreciate everything you just said John. I'm 71 now and still feel like I'm, my mind wanted to say 31, but my body wouldn't let me type it, so I guess it's 51, yeah, I'm gonna go with I feel like I'm 51. What I'm saying John is I look at 60 as a fairly young man. Especially these days. And it's never too late to learn anything, especially when a lot of it is already ingrained in your body. I'm getting carried away here, so thanks again and I hope to hear from you again.
I'm guessing by the, what is that, a pound symbol, that you must be from Great Britian. Too Cool. Later.
What are your thoughts about exiting low and left on the downswing?
Coolest coach I've ever seen. This drill taught me how to avoid early extension moreover the natural position upon ball impact. The only regret is why only now had I seen this practical instructional video. Kudos!
Because the golf instruction industry must, through self-preservation, keep us as mixed up and confused as possible, and make it sound as complicated as possible. They would be out of business if they exposed how simple the majority of the swing is. Not trying to push anything, but watch my, instructors are just like doctors video. Let me know what you think Stealth and thank you so much for the compliment. Later.
@@TheSmokingGolfer Watched the short clip and you nailed it! Looking forward to seeing practical tips from you with the driver. More power to your Channel!
Hey Srealth, sorry for being so late. Thank you so much and talk to you later.
Great Vid! thanks for sharing. You remind me of my late father (RIP), he used to lift weights and ride the stationary bike while smoking a cig.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge
My pleasure, and thank you Mygtr. Later.
I love your video on the simple natural concept. Me too is a Smoking golfer, and "Skipping the Stones" reminded me of what my instructor tells me 30years ago.... Just "KISS" the swing, Keep It Simple and Stupid. Cheers for great work and sharing your thoughts of relating skipping stones = " KISS"
I love it Daryl. Like I say, it's not rocket science, like the rocket scientists, I mean golf instructors, want us to believe. Imagine a skipping stones instructor. If skipping stones went pro, don't laugh, look at face slapping, arm wrestling, Frisbee golf, pickle ball, even cornhole. The stone skipping instructors would be crawling out of the woodwork. Probably all ex-golf instructors. Thanks for the comment, later Daryl.
That was fun!
Thank you kindly PatMac. That was my goal. Stay tuned for plenty more. Talk to you later.
Best golf tip you'll ever find in UA-cam
Thanks David, so glad you can recognize the simplicity. That's looking outside the box they want us locked into. Later

Just loved the video...great concept, delivery on point, comedic, light hearted
Good stuff sir 👌

Why thank you sir. That's exactly what I was striving for. Thanks again 11 MacMan. I think I know you well enough to leave out that last 11. Later.
Best thought process ever for the natural swing...killer good video
Thanks a lot, WindWalker that's what I was going for. Later.
Thank you!
No, thank you H. Later.
Old showed me this back in the late 80s. And it absolutely works
There is nothing new under the sun, Michael. Whatever works is all that matters. Thanks, and later.
I'm self-taught as well. I believe, and in fact, the best ball strikers in the PGA in history are self-taught. Thx. Your post is GREAT! 👍🏻✊🏼✌🏼
Yeah, it's a lot harder to mix yourself up. It takes any instructor to do that. Thanks a lot for the compliment, David. Later.
Yes, self taught or coached by a parent, though in many cases the parent was a golf pro, but I agree
Great, Now I wanna take up golf AND SMOKING!!
Excellent Plugger. But how did you stumble across my stuff if you don't golf? Thanks for the humor. Later.
LOL ... I did like what the man had to say so I'm going to give it a try.
I was just looking for a stone skipping tutorial now I smoke a pack a day
What I initially “assumed” this to be was another UA-cam goofball. Lesson learned. Please accept my standing ovation and although I won’t be taking up cigarettes I will be skipping stones. Thank you for removing the cloud of confusion from my head.
Thank you so much Fluorideface. That's my goal, to remove that cloud of confusion. Later, I hope.
Padraig Harrington (Paddy) on hip rotation does the exact same skipping stones drill . Great video .
I've always been a big Padraig fan. It must be because he also realizes it is that basic and simple. I will look for that. Thanks for the comment Chris. Later.
Thank you for making such an insightful and entertaining golf video. I have had many golf lessons and never improved but realised that I had to develop my own (successful) natural swing. I am still trying but your video has really helped! I am sure playing golf in Florida would also help, rather than being wet and cold in England.
Thank you kindly Selby. But I promise, if you spent just one summer down here, you would give up anything and everything to be back in merry old England. Take it easy mate, and good luck with whatever you do. Later.
Ha! I’m in England too, if it’s all the same, I’ll be the judge of whether cold and wet beats hot and humid, get your spare room ready, I’ll be there on Saturday! 😂
(Being ex military I’ve spent plenty of time in hot places, only Kuwait was hot and humid 50 degrees C and very humid, like living in a steam room)
You got me there Dave. Thank you for your service, sir. Later.
@@TheSmokingGolfer thanks, I don’t think anyone has ever said that to me before 🤔
Spare room ready, see you soon. Thanks for the reply, Dave. Later.
I ran to the backyard with this new swing thought and it is PRIMO. Thanks pops
No problem son, I mean dude. Oh, I don't know, thanks so much Chris.
Someone get this man a beer, what a legend lol
Yeah, someone get this guy a beer! Thanks, DirtdiggerMarshall. I always type someone's full name when it's that cool. Later D.
I worked on a golf course for my first job and used to clean the range...in the evening i used to hit balls out of the rough at the back of the range with a lil bobo lost and found club and eventually found my swing (i used to play baseball for yrs and realized its the same swing on a different plane) soon i was hittin to the front of the range with a lil old 3 wood ..but once i started tryin to swing the way "youre supposed to" it just got harder lol. So yeah. If u can water things down and hit it consistently then id keep that swing
Thanks for the comment, B. I like your thinking. Later.
Guess I’m going out to the lake and practicing my Fort McKavett rock skipping technique.
Getting back to basics
Do it, Danny. Where is Fort McKavett? Thanks for the comment. Later.
I appreciate the simple presentation. It helped
Simplicity is the key. It's as complicated as you want to make it. Thanks, Smokesgtp. Later.
@TheSmokingGolfer thanks for the response. I've found tension was my main issue. Nobody picked up on it, the two pros I worked with, multiple good players (single digit handicaps), nobody could see that I was stiff and chopping at the ball like a hockey puck rather than a loose, whip-like swing.
I finally realized it when I watched someone swing from the side angle, their actual swing looked identical to the way they swung a rope or an orange whip training aid etc. That's when it clicked...
Sometimes it only takes one little thing, whether it's an action or just words to open our eyes to something. Thanks again Smokes. Later.
I'm just learning. I haven't even got a club or hit a ball. I want to learn a little theory, nomenclature and basics first.
I agree with the natural part of this, but I disagree with making things to technical.
Everyone knows how to run. But science has taught people how to run more efficiently, and that's why old records keep getting beat.
Example, heal striking verses leaning forward when running.
But thanks. I think your advice is great.
I'm 62, and investigating if golf is injury prone to an elderly body.✌️
I guess that depends on the body Leodegas. And I don't think we really need to take running so seriously either. Most of us run or ran just fine without science. I'd love to be only 62! Later Leo.
@@TheSmokingGolfer ya get it. I wish i was 30 or 40 again.🤣
I deadlift and squat 400 lbs. I started 4 years ago. I definitely do my research so i don't hurt my body.
If you something long enough, you want to get better. Technique, going slow and being consistent is the secret i think.
Your throwing example, helps people be consistent.👍
Dang Leo, on that 400 lbs. that's amazing at any age. Let me know how your progression goes. Thanks again Leodegas, later.
This is stuff when your a left golfer but a right hand thrower
I agree. But it's mostly the natural body sequencing that goes along with any throw that really matters. You can figure it out Katabeats. Thanks for the comment, Later.
OK, not sure why this showed in my feed but it did. First, I expected you to be hotter based on your channel name. Second, I am really wanting a cigar about now. Subbed. I like your style and humor. I learned golf club swing using a weed whip when I was a kid. I tend to pull more with my left arm but I am certainly going outside to try this tonight.
Too good, Kevin. I love and understand the weed whip reference. These people are saying to themselves, what in the heck is a weed whip, must be the newest swing training aid. Later Kevin.
You’re a beauty!! Hahahah. Got a dart blazing hitting maroochis with the facts. 👍👍🔥🔥

I enjoy you making fun of the golf cottage industry. Endless amounts of books, videos, instructors, and gadgets haven’t helped the average golfer much. This and the release video are great.
I couldn't have said it better NYCborn. Thanks for the compliment and hope to hear from you again. Later.
One of the more entertaining golf videos I've watched, for sure. I'm not sure about that golf instructor's story regarding Rory Mcilroy's comment about his hips. I've watched lots of videos where he talks about the hips and his intention to "fire" the right pocket or hip (and other hip related stuff)
I promise you Blue, it is there. Of course, he knows exactly what his hips are doing and can fine tune them to do whatever he wants. He is an elite athlete! How many of us can say that, or copy him? Later.
My man, lol love your style!!!
If'n that's what you call that, I'm good with it. Truly appreciated Joseph. Later.
Good video.
What makes golf such a mental game is trying to hit a small white ball with a 3x2 inch flat piece of iron.
It's much easier to hit a lake/pond/swamp with a pebble.
Not much. maybe a little. Thanks, Tall. I see it more like hitting that big white ball with this giant piece of metal. Later.
Couldn't agree more, the worst thing I ever did for my golf game was have golf lessons! Before that I just used to hit the ball without thinking about it and I was better.
And I couldn't agree with you more Rob. That's pretty much how we've played all games since we were kids. They have us all convinced that somehow that won't work because it's GOLF. Just let it go. Thanks for the comment, Rob. Later.
Show a short video hitting a ball to show proper ball placement for me. 😎 thanks!
You got it! Except proper ball placement is different for every swing. That's what I would show. Thanks for the suggestion.
I can hit a driver amazingly with a ball in my right hand (I’m right handed). The grip feels amazingly like the skip stone grip now that I think about it.
It's basically how we, as human beings, hold on to anything of that similar size. Nothing unique to golf whatsoever. Thanks for the comment, Ron. Later.
First time viewer. I'm also 71 and I've been convinced that the golf swing is not all that difficult, but instructors have to make it so to stay employed. The more lessons I've taken, the crappier and inconsistent my swing is. I've been searching for a more natural approach and I think you've got it. I'll keep watching and see if it's true. It's sort of like the medical industry and big pharma. Do they really want us to get healthy? Hmmm.
You got it JT. Watch my "Golf instructors are just like doctors" video. It's exactly what you just said. Thanks for the comment, and hope to hear from you again JT. Later
Excellent stuff, gonna try later. Instructors remind me of wall street: they use really difficult lingo which makes it sound hugely difficult and impressive. Only a few can do it. And they can teach you, but you gotta pay up. Looking forward to more of your video's. Cheers from The Netherlands
You, my friend, took the words right out of my mouth. Excellent stuff from you, SenorFrits. Not trying to push anything but watch my instructors are like doctors video. And cheers back at you in The Netherlands. Later SF.
Tried it and yes, it works. For every club. After 250 balls a blister started to form on my finger, so I gotta loosen up on the grip. It always has fascinated me that everybody can kick a ball, everybody can throw a ball (some celebs throwing a ceremonial first pitch in the MLB being the exception, I have seen some really awful throws and I wonder why), everybody can swing a bat at a baseball, but hitting a static golf ball with a club, not so much.
Nice to hear from you again Senor Frits. All good points. Later.
If George Carlin were to teach golf. Lol Love the videos keep it up!

You are spot on! I realized this just yesterday and started crushing my 8 iron with ease. I've wasted SO MUCH time trying to hit the 'positions' the instructors tell us to hit. Huge waste of time!

So glad you agree Teressa. Thank you for the comment, and that's a cute doggy. Later.
.. you forgot to mention about pronting the left wrist on the way back and supinating on the way through
I'll have to get my dictionary for those. Good one CDunne. I think I might be better off not knowing. Later.
There is a many way to skin the cat. This type of swing is called, push swing. Pull swing is much more popular. In push swing you use the right side to throw the club at the ball, in pull swing, you use your left side or more chest and left arm to catapult the club through the ball. I did play with a push swing player for many years. He had played much longer and did practice a lot and was very strong individual. He did hit through the club with his right side. The biggest difference was the power. I hit it way longer, even when I got diabetes II and loss of energy.
Could you please go into more detail B. You know, make it even more complex. Thanks for the comment. Later. Sorry about your diabetes.
@@TheSmokingGolfer it is not complicated at all. It is very simple indeed. You use your left arm to catapult the club through the ball, the leverage is your left chest. To release, you have to brake in the turn just as you do "naturally" in push swing (throw stone on water).

Tossing a lawn dart works well also.
I used to love those things. Of course I'm talking about the original real ones. Any ninja would have loved them as part of their arsenal. Thanks for the comment Spherical. Later.
@@TheSmokingGolfer🤣 yeah we had those when I was a kid. Thankfully we didn't do anything too stupid with them...like use our german shepherd as target practice 😁. But I'm not sure throwing those darts is as similar to the golf swing as skipping a stone...and using lawn dart tossing as a drill to get a feel for how you would naturally swing a club wouldn't translate.
No wonder I'am not consistent, I'am right handed but swing lefty but I don't always throw like I'am skipping a stone. Tks

I figured that, B. We'll leave the crappy fishing to the crappy fishermen. Giants are plentiful on this lake; I don't consider them to be giants unless they're over 6 pounds. Summer now and too hot to be out there. I still do some early early morning sessions, but I'm out of there by about 8:30. My fave is top water frogs through the middle of the pads. 50 pound braid to get them out. I could talk fishing with you all day long B. Thanks for the conversation. Later.
No wonder I suck at golf , I suck at skipping stones
It's mostly just about the sequencing your body does automatically in any kind of throwing motion. That's what most of us are missing in our swings. Good one though. Throw away! Thanks for the comment Michael. Later.
@@TheSmokingGolfer I know I was joking . We really all do over complicate it but sometimes if I just go up there and try to do what feels natural it really throws me off the rail . There’s definitely a balance of not over complicating it but also working on good fundamentals and technique
Agreed Michael, but I play with plenty of people without good fundamentals or technique and they play just fine. I guess it depends on what your goal is. Thanks again Michael. Later.
Interesting. However my problem is that I would skip a stone left handed and I swing right handed. ☹️
I have a friend that plays left-handed, and I always tell him he's standing on the wrong side of the ball, and he is left-handed. Don't know what to tell you Phil. Thanks and later.
How does skipping the stone method work for driver?
For me it's the easiest of all. I feel like I have a club as big as a human head and can tee that ball up wherever I want, how could I possibly miss. That's me though. Thank for the question J. Later.
@@TheSmokingGolfer will definitely try it. Lord knows I’ve tried so many other things. Do you use baseball grip?
Yeah, at least my left hand. I have a video all about it. Thanks again, J. Later.
Its interesting how similar golf is to skipping rocks and ping pong. Who made this sport? Lol
I agree with you on the ping pong thing also. Picture your clubface like the paddle face. All of the action and spinning makes more sense. Thanks Keith, later.
Thats some funny shit 🤣
Can't thank you enough. Golf is a funny game. Later Charles.
Skip the stone Maruchi!
clubs? We dont need no stinkin' clubs!!! (badges) ??
good reference lol
Glad you noticed it, Teddy. Almost every video I do has a couple of the same type thing. I am planning on doing giveaways to people that recognize and identify where they come from. It wasn't intentional, I guess after living as long as I have things just kind of stick in my head. Just want to make it more fun. Thanks plenty, and later Teddy.
Think you’ll do good in this space …But I believe folks are gonna wanna see you hit some shots…
What for Billy? I'll leave that up to the real golf instructors on UA-cam. In case you haven't noticed, I'm the un-instructor. Thanks so much for the comment, Billy. I'll be talking to you, later.
Hey Billy, I just checked out your site and loved it. God bless you Billy and good luck with everything you do.
@@TheSmokingGolfer Hey SG thank you and God bless u and yours…careful in the swamp …really enjoy your content. Been sharing your clips with my brother in Fla.Probably close to the swamp.
i tried to skip rocks and take it to the golf swing-- it just doesn't feel natural to me :( i'll end up topping or fatting every shot i must be doing something wrong
Couldn't say off hand Teddy. But just knowing when to whip those wrists through helps. You know, doing it at the right time. And I mean letting those wrists whip. Thanks for the comment, TeddyWilliams. I recognize that name. Later.
In the immortal words of Chris Farley. That was,
AWESOME!!!!
I just want to note, this guy did not commit suicide hahaha!
Can't thank you enough, Child of the Most High, love that name. Hope to hear from you again. Later.
Jackie Burke the legendary golfer said to throw your club down the fairway presumably to gain insight into the double-pendulum behaviour of the golf swing
We all respond differently to verbal thoughts or instruction. Whatever works is correct, even it's just for you. Thanks again CDunne.
I think a lot of the “throw the club” people are just trying to give you a different task to focus on instead of hitting the little white ball. It’s the same as skipping the stone or hitting the forehand in tennis when you turn golf from a static drill into a dynamic movement you already know how to do instinctively it makes the swing easier. Horses for courses.
I agree wholeheartedly Daves Rabbit Hole. Thanks for the comment, later.
👍🏻😳🤯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much David. I think. I can't see well enough to figure out all of those emojis. But really, thanks again David. Later.
Why did you put a mat on the grass?
To keep the snakes away. Thanks for the comment Silminawaz. Later.
I don't get it. What am I supposed to do with my left hand if I don't smoke???
Thanks for the comment, Bennett. I would suggest, take up smoking. Problem solved! Later.
Love the cigarette, Charlie Hull would be proud. 😀
Hey Jim. At first, I thought you must have made a mistake with the name. I'm thinking there must be some old timer maybe named Charlie Hall, or something. Went to my site, which is always surrounded by John Daly stuff, and saw that little short of her signing autographs with a cig hanging out of her mouth. Well, I don't watch too much LPGA, but I knew who Charlie Hull was, and always liked her. Now I absolutely love her. She's a girl after my own heart. Thanks for the comment, Jim, and if you happen to know Charlie, give her a shout out from me. Later.
@@TheSmokingGolfer No, I unfortunately don't know her. I have a newfound respect for her after seeing her interview after her round at the open. She speaks her mind and is not the robot interview that you see so much of from the pros these days.
Hey Jim. I want to thank you for the inspiration for my little Charley Hull short. Thanks for all of your comments. Later.
