I lost my whole family over the years. I am the only one left. Your song makes me think of every single one of them. Your beautiful music touches my heart and my soul. Thank you for that! 💖
I love your music Niamh and Sean! True soul felt folk music! I hope you can post some more videos and I hope you all are happy and healthy in Ireland! This waltz/lullaby is particularly beautiful! Niamh your voice is so soothing and lovely! Sean your playing is impeccable! The world needs your music! My best to you both. Jon from North Carolina.
Niamh, you're a light in the darkness. It's a lucky babe that would be soothed to sleep by your voice. I don't think you realise how much appreciated your gift is. From everyone in Sligo, thank you for pulling us all through the pandemic. It's those simple pleasures that are the most meaningful. The last thing i went to see before COVID hit was you and friends in the Hawkswell. I just saw you and your brother again for trad@lunch. I hope you know that you made everyone's day, hence the standing ovation. Bíodh a fhios agat go bhfuil grá mór agat. Go maire tú do shaol ar an iomlán. X
Just discovered this young lady, and I am totally captivated. Lovely voice, lovely lass.
Gives me the shivers her voice does, 😯
I keep coming back to this video, just gorgeous

My Aunt lives there, wonder if she was listening that day LOL

She said yall. Gaelic/Celtic with a Southern touch. I am in awe. Blessings from Scott-Irish blood in NC.
Isn't a "southern touch", irish people naturally talk like that before southern people even existed.
@@ST-dl9lu The Yall reference was what I was actually referring to. "Yall come back." or "Hello yall." Nothing meant by it just an expression we us in the South.
Yes Jimmy she did just say yall. Honestly she may have picked it up from the American South somewhere along the way. I think it would for people in the country particularly in Sligo and Leitrim to say "How are yous all doing?", whereas in Cavan and I suppose parts of Monaghan, Meath, and Leitrim peopl say "how are ye keeping?" I could be wrong, I'll await the detractors.
Niamh is great in every sense, if you don't mind me saying so. Her version and lyrical interpretation of the Green Fields of France with Mick Hanna for RTE's Irish Folks Song was superb, refreshing, and so in touch with songs intended meaning.
Congrats to Sean from another guitar player. You sound fantastic. And that's a capo what is a capo, as my East Coast relatives might say!
The crow joined in at the end😂
