I haven't read all the comments, so someone else may have already pointed this out, but... If you put your zipper only 1/3 of the way down, instead of 1/2 way down, then you would have more storage space. You don't really need all that room for the top portion of the 'box'. The bottom is where you need more storage space. (Think of it as a box with a lid; such as a shoebox. -- The lid is not the same depth as the storage part of the box.) Hope this makes sense. :) Otherwise, this is a great idea and you did a really good job. Thanks for the idea!

U wrote u need 4 small stripes but u need 8. To shorten the zipper cut it from the "top" and fold a little around the corner so the "zip" part won't come off.
