Hi! I was wondering what kind of cloth did you use? I've never tried doing this yet but will cloth simply stick to the milk carton just by ironing it out?

I think the plastic from the inside of the milk cardboard had melted from the heat so the cloth had stuck. 😊

its cute but it would have been better if you had cut your camera peice so if u want to take a picture from the back you won't have to take your phone out that would have made more sence

I just bought fine cloth for this and then I realised the camera after reading your comment :( still gonna do it tho love the idea innovative you are really creative
Before you out the cloth on take a Exactor knife and make the holes for the Camera, the flash, and the speaker, and the and the earphone hole. Or make any kind of hole you need to make on the CLOTH AND THE THE MILK CARTON/ CARDBOARD and then put the Fine cloth on the milk carton/ cardboard.

Can I use glue gun instead of iron?
Make sure it doesn't leave thick line, because it dries sooner leaving blobs beneath. Or use Liquid UHU. :) I don't have such a felt either that I would use iron.

I didn't read all the comments but if you are having a hard time heating the carton to the fabric or using just cardboard use a thin even amount of a glue stick. the point here (as a crafter) is to keep everything slim and neat. Using a glue stick (making sure there are no clumps you can achieve the same result. What I do is I use my fingers to remove lumps or excess glue. Then use a pencil to smooth the fabric onto the cardboard/carton Just a crafter tip. I haven't made this yet I am working on others but I want to make a new one for my work and personal phone and I am using teal and what for my personal one to represent Cervical Cancer awareness

I used a type of fabric that has glue on the back, it's meant to be used with a hot iron, but I think it only comes in white and black. The advantage is that it's like 1 dollar for a whole meter.

+Bankster M I got it in my country, it's called pellon and is sold in a place called Parisina.
But, if you google "Sewing Tips: Defining & Using Interfacing, Fusible Web, Fusible Adhesive", you'll find a blog post from somebody in the USA who gives a list of such materials and also has pics of some brands. It even shows some stuff that makes any piece of cloth self-adhesive.

I can't believe you just made this yourself, I'm an animal print lover and I actually payed €15,- for this particular phone case the exact same one!.....and I bought it twice (different colors) because after a while it had holes in it so I needed a new one and you make this out of a milk box??? WOW!!!

I made this and it worked, but I had to use some hot glue because the fabric kept un-sticking from the milk carton. I also added some pockets to the inside of the phone case. I made it for an iPhone 5 and the side part where it folds was a little to small but it still works so overall I think this project turned out really well :)
