Looks delicious. I personally wouldn't have used sour cream but I'm sure it actually tastes pretty good. Maybe someday for a cheat meal I'll try it. Instead I'd rather put all the spaghetti into a pan so the cheese actually gets a caramelization to it for better aesthetics and texture.

Dear lady, I am italian and I live in Italy. This is not AN Italian dinner, this is just an overcooked dinner. Nothing italian here. Breaking spaghetti in half is a crime, cooking spaghetti for one hour and a half is diabolic. I won't comment on cream cheese and sour cream. In Italy we call this "mappazzone". Definetly, not approved.
Your comment gave me heartburn. Plus, I'm more than positive that breaking pasta in two is not a crime. Cooking is open to interpretation and personal taste. Here's a thought, try it first, then complain if you don't like it. No one owns you anything just because you are from Italy. Besides, the first written record of pasta is 5th century talmud, which was dried pasta that could be boiled, and it may have been Arabs who introduced paste to Sicily when they conquered it. Sicily then made long, thin string out of it in the 12th century. It was a neapolitian poet in 1874 who first recorded the word spaghetti, Antonio Vivini something. So, actually, your comment is borderline antisemitic. Know your history. Peace and Ahev
