Installing A Light Bar On A Harley Low Rider ST

- As the Custom Dynamics Light Bar is not 100% ready for a plug and play installation on the Low Rider ST a "work a round" is pretty easy to perform to get the job done. Torque Custom Cycles in Hackensack NJ helped me out on this cosmetic install. I think the outcome is really cool !

Definitely mainly for looks because its not a true Amber LED lightbar because its just a painted lens with a white LED light bar. Check out the MOONSMC Dual Function lightbar which can switch from White too Amber.

It will hit the fender. I've made a few brackets for those light bars and even tite to the lower tree they can still hit.

Awesome install! I’m thinking of doing the same on my 23 FXLRST, is the brake line block hitting the light at all especially when you turn the bars left to right at maximum?

Initially, I was going to tap into the high beam of the headlight, but after watching you video I decided to always have the light on. After you encountered any traffic law restriction of always having said light lit?

The light bar looks great on the Lowrider ST, just curious as to how much it would cost to do something like that.. Plus the new K1600B looked good, but the old one had the 719 rims that are a $2000 upgrade from the basic rims, and the sissy bar had to be a little pricey as well to just give up.
Wasn’t interested in the rims again didn’t want to pay the $1850 extra! Also, the back rest was an eBay purchase 125 bucks so I wasn’t interested in that either getting back rest luggage rack combination! But thanks for watching!👍💯🇺🇸😎

Typical light bracket is designed too low where it can be contact the fender when front end dives in. How is your experience with your set up so far?

Yep, plenty of people on the lowrider S forum that have bottomed it out and dented the front fender if not lifted

Question for you Sandy - you dont think there is any chance that if you hit a very large bump in the road that the shocks could compress enough to hit your fender - do you ?

@@HOLYSHIFT i mean, is that a concern for you. did you try to push down on the front forks to check for clearance? the only reason i'm asking is i'm considering doing the same thing to my low rider st but if there is a chance it could contact the fender i def wouldnt do it

Seriously dude what's with the flood light ? Can't see ?
I put one on my ST. The light being mounted to the triple tree moves with the bars at night during turns. I can see much much better going around corners or tight loop merges onto the hwy at night. Also the yellow helps a ton if there is fog which there always is near the river where my place is at night. It's well worth it for how cheap it is.

If you weren't putting this video on UA-cam he wouldn't have soldered that wire, it would have been scotch locks. Thank goodness he knew you were putting this out for everyone to see so he did the right thing. But he could have used liquid electrical tape.
We solder everything. Don’t even have a scotch lock in my shop.

Was trying to come up with a new channel name for when we start doing motovlogs. Was gonna be me and my buddy in midevil gear riding hardtails called " Yee Holee bikers" cause weve both had plenty of bones leave nice holes in our skin as they were ejected😂😂😂😂
