I need to thank Krizz Kaliko on a personal level. You saved my life. I was in a deep dark place for months. Tried to end it multiple times. I listened to Stop The World and Unstable at least ten times a day. Those two tracks kept me going. Helped me realize I'm not alone. I now see I have meaning in my children. The woman in the beginning of this video with the piano, later with the photographs & further on in the video at the bus stop with the longer trench style coat is my grandmother's dear friend, Anne. Although I'm not sure how she got the role, it was totally amazing & interesting to see a completely normal lifetime KC resident who isn't even an actress make it into one of my all time favorite artist's videos. Not to mention someone who I've known since I was a baby. I bet it was an amazing experience for her.
Side note, I once had the pleasure of having a talk with Krizz. Not just a meet & greet type deal but a genuine conversation outside the buses before the final show of a tour. I'll remember & treasure that talk forever. He was a humble, lovable, respectful man. We bonded over us having both gone to alternative education schools here in Kansas City & he encouraged me to not let that discourage myself into thinking I can't be successful. We also continued to discuss our struggles with mental health & he truly made an impact on my life with that conversation. He also spoke so highly & lovingly of his wife Crystal & their children that I couldn't help but admire them & their relationship. Krizz is a true stand up gentleman. I wish him nothing but success & happiness in this life.
I hope he knows how many lives he's truly touched. ❤❤❤

Krizz Kaliko is one of the most talented artists in the music industry. He has made so many impactful songs. My respect for him and his music goes deep even though I don't know him on a personal level. I can feel the depth of emotion in his voice and in his lyrics, and that's enough to let me know he is worth that respect. Much love for Krizz.

Last year on April 17th I was in the hospital. There was a guy there who was going through a lot. We became good friends. He introduced me to this song. And I listened to it a few times before forgetting about it. A few days ago it popped into my head, but i couldn't remember the name. I haven't seen the guy sience i got out April 21st. And i really miss him. I finally remembered the name today. I'm so glad I remembered it. This will forever remember it now. This is one of my favorite songs.

I need to thank you Krizz. I played this song for months. I was going through a dark period in my life. I quit drinking, lost my wife, my kids, my job, my home and my car. I tried to commit suicide five times since November. This song, along with Unstable helped me. Helped me realize things can get better. Helped me realize I am stronger than that. Everyone just played it off like this is no big deal from my doctor, psychiatrist, family and friends, so now i don’t have contact wit any of my family ore my old friends!
I was on my way to the woods with a rope with a noose finished and about to take my own life!
But when i was walking to the woods listening to Death metal, three straight Krizz Kaliko tracks came on in a row, then one of DMX prayer skits and Jelly Roll with Somebody Save Me!
And those tracks got me thinking I will prove those ounk ass no good fuckheads wrong and now Im on top of the world!

In 2016 I lost a good job. Normally I didn't care about something like that, but having a wife and kid and being the only one working, it hit pretty hard.
