Great video Les some awesome shunting with the snow Ploughs excellent work very interesting really enjoyed it and nice to see 37405 looking immaculate and no clagg as well , mmm well looked after by Harry the needle saved another one 😂😂👍 thanks for sharing stay safe a t b Syd 👌
Enjoyed that Leslie especially the shunting work by the 37 at Eastriggs, it also seems you are well known by some of the drivers as you got a wee toot and a wave from both the drivers of 1L83 @ 3.25 and 5Z16 @35.00 mins 👍.
Two Class 37's in the same video, what more could you ask for. I hope they don't need all those snow ploughs anytime soon. Thanks for another varied selection Leslie 😊👍💗
One might postulate the collective noun for ploughs; plethora, perhaps?🤔☺️ The movement of them must be an awkward driving experience for crews, sighting visibility being restricted as it would seem.
Hi, i always enjoy your videos, this may sound like a really stupid question, but how do the train crew know whats ahead of them? is there a camera on the front of the plough? Cheers!
Putting all your snow plows in one basket this time of year is asking for trouble particularly as they seem to have wheel bearing /brake issues. (covers to bearings/ brake shoes open on most plows.) The first (inspection) train of the day with two HSTs the first loco looked to be in RailAdventure livery with Colas name shield? A switch/take over of assets?
One thing there should be no blocked lines around your area if we get a bad winter. It looks like they are checking them over with the axle box covers open on a few.
The government is expecting a snowy winter from all the aerial spraying they are going to do this year, rolling power cuts fuel shortages and pensioners fuel money stopped. They might wish to remove a few thousand from the pension system . 😮

Lovely video Les, great to see a brace of growlers!
Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Great Vid 👍🏻that tractor seems to get everywhere, not that it’s a bad thing.
Hi Leslie. How nice to see HST 125's and 37s still working today. A testament to how well they were made in the first place :o)
Wow Les, a great time filming all that i guess, very nice with lots of RHTTs, cheers Steve . 🎥
Thanks
That's the cleanest exhaust on a 37 ever I think.
How odd that they all go to Eastriggs? I saw a few there a few weeks ago . Of course they aren't expecting much snow THERE ...hahaha
Nice bit of shunting by the 37. Good one Leslie, all the best.

Fingers crossed! Thanks!
Les another great video with lots of variety. do network rail keep one of the test coaches in the tent?
There are two Network Rail coaches, apparently used for deicing points!

I understand that the ploughs are being serviced here. The 43303 is ex-Cross Country and stiull carrying that livery.

If they get snow at Eastriggs then I hope the ploughs are removed pretty quickly! I think servicing is done there
@@LeslieGilpinRailways It looks like it with so many collected there.
West Coast 27 ?

the 37 went though a red light ?
