I’m taking the 20SA and the Cacciatore. I like the 20SA for those “oh shoot, I just flushed those ducks!” Moments and the Cacciatore is my go to gun for geese, turkeys, and pheasant. I really am excited to try it out on the new bean and graylag geese and especially the two new Ptarmigan species. I really feel like Revontuli Coast is about to be my go to fun map, instead of Pheasant hunting on Rancho or quail and eastern turkey hunting on Mississippi.
Very new to CotW - only been in the game a couple of months..at first I thought the goose flying stream was in slow motion. Damn, wish I had been there in the golden era :(
i would definitely like to get every animal on the map with my recurve. it’s my favorite bow and due to the fact that all birds can be shot on the ground it is possible
So excited for the new update. Been spending a lot of time chasing quail and pheasants to practice my console aim. The couso 16ga is my bread and butter bird weapon Edit: after watching, I'll probably be switching between the 16 and 12ga for different species. I like the smaller pellets and wider coverage of the 16ga for smaller targets like ducks and quail, but the 12ga will probably be my favorite for the geese and grouse because of its power and range. If this update is as good as I'm hoping for in regards to waterfowl, I'm sure I'll end up using all the shotguns. I have around 100 hours just in bird hunting on classic
same here! been chasing those pheasants and quail and i’m super excited for the grouse. and hunting them all i think the 16 gauge is the best gun for them. i do nothing but hunt upland irl and the 20 gauge is my favorite round, but in game the 16 is pretty much perfect
100% agree! I bought the cattitore yesterday and I love it! If the geese and ducks are getting faster then we need a gun that can put up fast shots over and over again. Nice video crow keep up the good work!
More often than not, you have another shot by the time youre ready to shoot with the pump, it sort of makes semi autos obsolete when you have six shots of a fast pump shotgun.
10gauge bigger spread and if they get close enough to each other I can take more than one out and if I want a real challenge I'll use the long bow like tim wells
It's basically what I been using already the 12g o/u the 20sa the 16g from rancho but also new 10g sa with new scope i guess i just suck and then get lucky here and there
Started using the strecker 20g over the cacciatore 12g since I think the cacciatore has a very basic firing sound. Idk why it does but compared to every other shotgun in the game it sounds odd and not very powerful. It's by all means the best shotgun in the game overall but since the strecker can actually use the reflex sight that the .470 can get, I've started using it over other options
I think my loadout will be 22h, mosin, 300 and 2 shotguns. Don't really need a 303, 7mm, 308 or 30-06 as there is no class 5 or 6 on the map and only 1 class 4 which the mosin can take out very easily.
I will play with cacciatore or how it's spelled :) haha. then i have Nordin 20 gauge. That shotgun you get from a map with 5 shots are also a good option.
Actually there IS a shotgun that beats the 12 ga pump. Grankins rusty 12 ga pump from the medved taiga missions. It has an accuracy of 55 All other shotguns only has 33.
If TK ends up being right about us possibly being able to shoot birds on the ground in Finland without the grounded penalty, I really hope that transfers over to the pheasant and quail. Sure, shooting them while flying is more fun but try with a controller and you'll get what I mean. Props to any of my fellow console players that are actually good at it
Grankins rusty shotgun from the Medved Taiga missions. It has much higher accuracy = 55 All other shotguns accuracy = 33 Seems like almost no one has noticed that. 😉
I totally agree with the 12 and the 16 gauges, although in my opinion I like the Camo 20 gauge shotgun i swear that thing can be a sniper at times, Great video keep up the good work!
You can definitely kill bird farther than 35m away, all you need is a full choke and big shot size. Although I do agree that being able to hit and actually kill a bird at anything more than 50m is pretty ridiculous
UA-cam Taking Ages To Give Yall The HD Version -_-
Yeah kind of :/ it’s all good
0:50 Cacciatore 12ga, Couso Model 1897 12ga, Nordin 20sa

Great vid Crow and yes I would love to see a video from you about Revontuli load outs/guns you could use
I’m taking the 20g and 10g. 20 for quick closeup, and then switching to 10, which can shoot way further than the 12g
Where is that spot at
Pump action 12 has always been top for me. And the slugs and buckshot are op for larger animal drives
More often than not, you have another shot by the time youre ready to shoot with the pump, it sort of makes semi autos obsolete when you have six shots of a fast pump shotgun.

my three are the upland guns with the 12g gamekeeper, 20g sbs, and 20 semiauto.
I like the 12 gauge and you have good content scarecrow like your vids!
My go to shotguns will probably be the 12g or possibly the drilling rifle depending on load out needs.

then i have Nordin 20 gauge. That shotgun you get from a map with 5 shots are also a good option.
12 gauge pump, it's slugs are powerful and reach out to as far as 150m with good efficiency and it's got 6 shots
Whats wrong with the default shotgun?
One 20 guage semiauto shotgun for backup, the cacciatore 12 gauge as primary and 22. Virant for long range
I think I’m gonna use an over under because that’s what I use for waterfowl irl not sure if there’s a 20 gauge OU but that’s what I use
There is an side by side 20 gauge and a OU 12g
The over and under in this game has horrible sights imo. It's a picitany sight rail with a massive front bead
Great job crow I agree 100 percent nothing beats the 12 ga pump unless we get an automatic of course but great video
Actually there IS a shotgun that beats the 12 ga pump.
Grankins rusty 12 ga pump from the medved taiga missions.
It has an accuracy of 55
All other shotguns only has 33.
What gun do u recommend me use for turkeys i rly like to use shotguns
I'm going to run the 20 gauge SXS and the 12 gauge O/U with the .22 lr and the .454 rounding out my loadout
a 12ga semi-automatic would be nice!
greetings from austria! 😁🇦🇹
I hope the red raptor revamp will allow us to use them on more shotguns ?
My shotgun choice would be cacciatore 12g
20 g or 16 because i’ll be able to use slugs and buckshot aswell as a scope so i only have to use those guns on the map
Keep up the good work
i love my 16's, just wish ammo was more available.
Cacciatore 12 gauge as my main and 22.Virant for long range 😁
I can’t find any of these in the store can someone explain?
There is no 10 or 16 gauge shotgun in the store how do i buy one
I always use the 12ga pump i think they might add a 12ga semi with the update
Exact Location of this whest feild please
Which one is #1 because i have three 12g so idk which one it is
I'm going to use what I always used the cacatori 12
I would love to see a load out video! It would be so helpful.
Is the 12gage pump the one you get from rancho dlc
Pretty sure its a 16 gauge pump
Woo first :) got them notifications
The pump 12 ga its the best In my opinion best for upland bird and waterfowl I've used all shotguns but the pump 12 works the best
I would use a side by side 16ga 20ga semi auto and over under 12
I'll be going 12gauge for geese and 20ga for everything else
What is that 12g called
What shotgun ammo do you recommend for birds ?
12ga birdshot seems to be the best in my testing. 10ga sadly has too few rounds and the 12ga pump is about as good but with double the ammo capacity
Probably gonna be using the semi 20 or the pump 12
10 gauge prolly bc it can cover pretty much all weapons class
If TK ends up being right about us possibly being able to shoot birds on the ground in Finland without the grounded penalty, I really hope that transfers over to the pheasant and quail. Sure, shooting them while flying is more fun but try with a controller and you'll get what I mean. Props to any of my fellow console players that are actually good at it
I can do pretty well with controller but I still find the grounded thing extremely annoying.
@@DeezCheez69 I mean from a realistic standpoint Id say it's a cool concept but yeah, I'll admit it's annoying
@@zachjohnson9391 not really realistic either. Alot of places in the U.S. (a different country I know) let you shoot them on the ground.
Imma go with my good old .22lr rifle.
I can’t wait for the new update!!!
I’m going it’s 16 gauge and the cacciatore
why u don t use the 75 m?
Grankins rusty shotgun from the Medved Taiga missions.
It has much higher accuracy = 55
All other shotguns accuracy = 33
Seems like almost no one has noticed that. 😉
Definitely the 410 😁😁
I totally agree with the 12 and the 16 gauges, although in my opinion I like the Camo 20 gauge shotgun i swear that thing can be a sniper at times, Great video keep up the good work!
16 ga for upland 12 or 20 for ducks
They have the 20 ga on legal mode
Be sure to tell someone u love em 😊
Can you do more wheel vids
why do your birds fly so slow ?
i use 12G and 20G in rev
Beretta a400 12ga semi auto
The cacciatore
Not the best pick but my favorite, the 20 gauge hazel sbs
Reason being is that I grew up shooting a sbs very similar to it
12 gauge catacomb or 16 gauge
I was just gonna go to the 12 g
12ga cacciatore ❤
A lot Tom pay for the 12 gage pump
Whatever shotgun I have
Cacciatore 12g
The couso 16 g
16g shotgun because i have one in real life.
12 gauge pump all day long
Load outs Please
20 Guage and A 12 guage
20 gauge
semi auto 20ga
12g
I dont like how shotguns work in this game. Its too easy to hit and you can hit birds like to 70m! Realistic would be 35 m
You can definitely kill bird farther than 35m away, all you need is a full choke and big shot size. Although I do agree that being able to hit and actually kill a bird at anything more than 50m is pretty ridiculous
