Man am soo inspired by you. Am glad I started mine two years ago. I got 300 chickens now with vegetables. My parents never believed in it they wanted me to just leave and work in the city 😃😂. And be proud of their son who's working and leaving in the city. I didn't blame them though I was annoyed of them but I understood what they didn't understand about city life. Now they entirely depend on me and it's my farming that is providing all that for us all. Am soo proud of myself and am planning to resign soon from my employment coz I feel more freedom when doing my own stuff than being micro managed by my employer without allowing me to think but only do what he thinks. Thank you wode.

I came to the uk looking like a 14 year old now 6 years on I look like a 56year old this is to prove to you that life in uk isn’t what social media people are telling you. Hard hard hard no life nothing . Looniness and working extremely hard to make ends meet more over sending money back home to be misused.
Diaspora isn’t what people think it is . Soon I will be back home that’s for sure
But one needs a plan. Work and save not send home and have a time frame to go back. Stay away from credit cards and fast life.

The US is very similar to Europe in the sense that for most people getting something like this-or a business of any kind-going is prohibitive. But online is where the money is at these days. Translate that capital into other assets and sound investments is one of the only viable outlets for success left. This is another incredible demonstration of the opportunities waiting to be taken advantage of in amazing Africa. When you have your own business, that is power and freedom, the glitter of materialism is an empty exhausting pursuit. Inspiring story 🥰🙏🏿🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I agree with everything he said about the cost of living in the west and the poor quality of life. There is a movement of millenials, mainly though not exclusively white, by the way from the US to Portugal in search of the same things diasporans going back to Africa seek. Peace, friendly people, work life balance, good food, sunshine, quality housing, fresh air, healthier environments for their children to grow up in, better schools, family values, I could go on. So even the people from some of these societies are sick of their own way of living. And furthermore, who wants to grow old in countries where the elderly are seen as a burden and treated as such.

The reality is most diasporans can't afford to relocate to Africa because they don't have disposable income. My dad came to US back in the day during war or something (which makes sense), then back to Zim and told my mum about stuff like that, he did come back to US where I am because of family; but yes sir; unless you are into medicine, advanced studies like science to highest level, law, nursing, pharmacy, business, engineering and such; you are better off in Zimbabwe (perhaps other African countries, but I don't know them all that well). There is no point leaving your country unless you are pursuing something you can't achieve in your own country. I came here because that's where my dad is and because it was my opportunity to expand my academic skills, but I love Zim. I love US because it's part of my family, but I love Zim. I don't recommend people without roots in the USA to come here; because yes, even scholars like me have worked jobs that in Zim I probably wouldn't have if I had the opportunity to expand there. I was raised in diversity in Zim and exposed to everything, so I am adaptable; but not a lot of people can do that. I always had roots with my American family, otherwise, I would have no reason to be here, other than family and God's call to expand my talents. You have to be open minded even if you are a scholar around here; he is telling you the truth. UK will not be that different. My point is, why leave your beautiful country, unless you have a very good reason to leave it; like family, famine, war or something. You have to know that you are black around here, but in Africa you are a person. It's not easy for everyone to see you as a person no matter how advanced you are in our nation; so yes sir, do not come here unless you have a good reason and God's calling.
US is not for everyone; and yes there is racism and it's just different. If you don't have high goals, great focus, and a great gift that can only be invested in, in this nation, and don't have family around here; personally I don't think you should leave Zimbabwe and come to USA. I don't recommend people leave their country to come here unless there have certain skills, resilience and a God given call. This nation is not heaven and money does not grow on trees. We are kind of workaholics around here to the point that it isn't healthy. There is ofcourse bright sides of the USA, that you all see on TV, but if you don't have endurance and resilience; and a unique gift or family here; this is not a place for you. Ofcourse, if you are here, then you have to learn to be healthy and work hard in the competition; and especially if you are black; you need to try to be the best you can be. Minimum wage jobs are were lots of minorites work; yup, like he said; and you might have to start there, or find yourself there, unless you can stay in academia and success without tragedies or unplanned circumstances. I try to tell people this stuff - but I often don't say anything because I know they won't really understand or belief it unless they come and see for themselves. Like I saw in capetown, poverty of the blacks; we got poverty of the blacks in the USA. If you come here; be sure you have great goals and God's calling.

This guy is telling the truth. Everything is a facade. You really do have to make life choices carefully, especially when you're young. A lot of youth are afraid to take loans for college because they don't want that crazy debt, only to come out of college and end up in a mediocre low paying job when everything is expensive. Definitely can't get married and have a family young because it'll set you back a couple decades. It was totally different for the baby boomers though.
