God i love becks playstyle. Laval has real good chemistry this year, goalies are locked in, talent up front and on the blue line. Good things coming. Cheers
Same ! Watched Bech during his memorial cup run and he is a very intense well rounded center . Might become that second line center the habs really need . Time will tell …
@@pmonty420 I think Beck's limited offensive talent makes him a 3C at best. His smarts, skating and motor make him a surefire NHLer though. Championship teams need guys like him in their bottom 6.
People are upset with the habs and brother the rebuild isn't going well. I honestly believe the solid farm club and a system that is working to develop players is a solid step in your rebuild. The habs had a sub par player development system for decades. This will help the habs in the future for sure
What a game, Laval was playing a good team and was being outplayed a bit the 1st and 2nd periods but came out in the 3rd on a mission to win. Davidson and Tuch, BB and Roy looked real good. Mailloux is close and really just needs to learn what works and what doesn't in the NHL now. Dobes looked good but i want him to play more in the AHL before being brought up to a Montreal team playing not great at the moment. Hughes deserves a chance to replace Primeau in my view. I am the biggest Dobes fan but he needs more seasoning before thrown in the fire in Montreal. Hughes is older and more experienced and has better numbers atm.
They seem to have a good variety of different types of players . Roy and Mailloux look nhl ready but i hope they let them cook down in Laval for the rest of the season . Once the KHL season is over it will be very interesting to see if they send Demidov over to Laval to help them for AHL playoffs .
Mailloux is already dominant at the AHL level. Will he be able to improve his processing speed and decision making to become an impact player at the next level? He's got the tools but the box remains an uncertainty.
How many game winning goals can 24 score? Plus 6 and second in D scoring in the league with 7 games played! If Montreal doesn't think other NHL clubs are not looking at this guy, they are nuts! He will become a RFA and they will pay him big time!
Next year hes for sure in Mtl. Right now he has a shot at making the playoffs and maybe a playoffs run as the starter for Laval and thats way more valuable long term. This is where we have to remain patient but hes for sure already better than Primeau ...
Wow just wow same old terrible decision making terrible shooting that one play the announcer says "they tried to get a little to cute" pfft idiot is more like it.99% of the shots just shot right at the goalie or missed the net. These are all AHL players if they can't finish in Laval they will never do anything at the NHl level because they will be 3rd or 4th line players.Still TONS of over passing so obviously crap coaching everywhere in the system.Of O was the coach I would lose it shoot the dam puck or ride the bench. third period still only 12 shots on net my lord.

Goal for mailloux, and certainly saved one at 0:11.

Great to see them doing so well so far this season. 🎉

cant beleive in 2024 they still film in some arena with a nintendo DS
thought it was N64
Habs need to waive Primeau and call up Dobas.
I think Dobes is better than Primeau but habs defense is struggling big time, not sure itll make a big difference whoever is in net

Dobes' movements are not great, I don't get the hype
I do.
Its called 10-2 winning like a team!
I don't think he's going to become a starter necessarily in the NHL, but I don't think it could be worse than primo as a backup next year or later

une chance que Laval est 1er dans le PCT de victoire avec une fiche 10-2
And you are? Settle down.
