Well said. It's so sad how many people listen to Joel Osteen and are fed boarder line heresy. He has such an opportunity to share the gospel and so often misses that opportunity. Where is Christ in any of his messages? We are totally deprived worthless humans who are made righteous only through Christ, we indeed are not enough and will never be enough except through Christ.
Bill From Accounting Human beings are not “worthless” as you stated. We were made in the image of God Himself. He valued us so much that He gave his only Son as a ransom for us. This is why we should value ourselves as well as others with the same love that Jesus has for each of us. We are “fearfully & wonderfully” made and extremely valuable to God who paid the highest price possible to redeem us. It is not wrong to value ourselves. What is wrong is to value ourselves more than others. This is one reason why Jesus told us in so many colorful ways to “love our neighbor as we love ourself”. You are loved & valued by God. I am loved & valued by God. Joel Osteen is loved & valued by God. Every human being who has ever lived has been loved & valued by God. “While we were yet sinners...” we were still loved & valued by God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that human beings are considered “worthless”. If we were worthless as you say, there would be no point in God’s redemption plan. God values YOU greatly my friend! Believe that! Since God loves you, it is certainly ok for you to love yourself and it is also valid to say that He has equipped you with “enough” as a person in the place that you are to fulfill the destiny He has for you. She said sorry but. I don’t really know what to besides maybe tell her that I’m not a kid anymore and she can’t control me as much as she used too. I’m 19 years old. The sermon is great but hard to swallow because some were surrounded by negative and critical people whether in family or social adaptation outside of home and too much of it makes us believe we are lacking etc.😞 It takes the Holy Spirit to helps us out through this👍🥂

He “gets it”! He’s living on THIS side of the cross and spreading the Good News of what we as believers have IN Christ! He’s criticized for not “preaching on sin”, but sin was defeated by Jesus and believers have been set free from sin and death because Christ is victorious over it. Usually his critics are guilty of the sins that he does preach on like gossiping, backbiting, slander and having a critical spirit. Keep living in and preaching the Gospel Joel! Human beings have so much abilities,power and talent it is about time we validated ourselves,through God and understand how magnificent and incredible we all are...
When one compares themselves to others they always lose,because when you compare yourself to another person, you compare yourself inside- out yet with another party you can only see the out and never fully the out and inside. As humans, spirit beings we have ability to grow,hence the word of God hence motivational speeches and most importantly positive thinking and affirmation... We can be who we want to be , we already are... The soul knows nothing about time... It's about feeding yourself good(mental and Spiritual food, which produces a healthy mind and spirit) and allowing that "food" to radiate outwardly. We are Gods master pieces us all.

Praying for my mom. For her not to be so hard on me. My mom thought I was lying about me being sick because I didn’t go to work one morning. turns out I had to get my appendix out. She said sorry but. I don’t really know what to besides maybe tell her that I’m not a kid anymore and she can’t control me as much as she used too. I’m 19 years old. Pray for me for the strength to tell my mom in the nicest way possible that she can’t treat me and the people who literally gave her almost everything she has now never that same way ever again. John 3:16

The sermon is great but hard to swallow because some were surrounded by negative and critical people whether in family or social adaptation outside of home and too much of it makes us believe we are lacking etc.😞 It takes the Holy Spirit to helps us out through this👍🥂

I’m not on any social media’s I’m celibate I don’t drink it’s a certain situation that has happen to me that keep coming back I got rid of every person who didn’t mean me any good I just want my happiness and to forget what happen In to forget this person so I can reach my destiny i. Been fasting and praying and staying away from negativity and I lost about a100 pounds since October I’m just sad now somebody triggered this but I just want god to help me

I am a síngle mom 3 sets of twins when I feel I'm at my lowest and I don't have Enough time Enough strength or Enough money or even enough help or favor ... I learned not to give up thoses are the moments I push harder and remember God is in control and he never let me down.... I want to go back to school but I found that hard to do as well.... God gave me this talent but I don't have the funds or resource... I just been praying about it and this gave me hope
