“Satan can’t create anything”…loving that truth, let’s not forget that. There is only one Creator who is Alpha and Omega…end of story, no argument. Hey Nick! Thanks for another good one! I wanted to highlight what you said at 5:08 about blessings. I think sometimes even as Christians, we get this idea that blessings are things that feel good. We don't consider things like trials, for example, to be a blessing, but they are. They produce things like endurance that leads to a stronger faith, but generally trials don't feel good. They are still a blessing though. I think that is part of the lie from the enemy. If something "feels" good, it is good, and is therefore a blessing. So when Satan delivers all these things that feel good, even if they destroy a person, it is seen by them as a blessing. When someone faces trials, they might feel like it is from the enemy, because it "feels" bad, therefore it is bad. (From that perspective) So I think this is a very good point to make! It is something we should all meditate on. I think it is in some way connected to why we can feel joy, even when we suffer, because we understand the cost vs the benefit. Just a great point! Our lives aren't even a spec on the line of eternity, yet the flesh fiercely pursues what "feels" good, when in reality what is some times nourishing for the soul in the big pictures, requires suffering and trials and hardships. It's something I struggle with and am actually now only realizing, like not on a head level but a heart level. God's ways are so far beyond ours. I loved what tou said. People worship the blessing instead of the blessed, or worship the gifts, instead of the gift giver. People worship the creation instead of the creator. We don't consider things like trials, for example, to be a blessing, but they are. They produce things like endurance that leads to a stronger faith, but generally trials don't feel good. They are still a blessing though. I think that is part of the lie from the enemy. If something "feels" good, it is good, and is therefore a blessing. So when Satan delivers all these things that feel good, even if they destroy a person, it is seen by them as a blessing. When someone faces trials, they might feel like it is from the enemy, because it "feels" bad, therefore it is bad. (From that perspective) So I think this is a very good point to make! It is something we should all meditate on. I think it is in some way connected to why we can feel joy, even when we suffer, because we understand the cost vs the benefit. Just a great point! Maybe you should go watch some of his shows. He is one of the few that addresses Jesus as his saviour and doesn't just speak of a God. He knows the Bible pretty good. How do you know he isn't saved?
