- Imperial Iranian Army: In the 1970s Iran's Emperor sought to make Iran a military superpower.
While it almost seems ironic in retrospect, Iran was by far the biggest recipient of American, and British weaponry in the 1970s and was rapidly becoming a major power. Awash with petrodollars as a result of the global increase in the price of oil in the aftermath of the 1973 Arab-Israeli War and at the height of his power the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi bought some of the most advanced weapons in the world for the Imperial Iranian military. While he did succeed in making Iran one of the best equipped militaries in the region, in terms of both quality and quantity, projections from the 1970s made it clear that he had grander plans to make Iran into one of the most powerful conventional military forces in the world.

They really shows how advanced iran already was and was going to be, also loved the scene with the young Crown Prince is greeted by her mother the Šahbānū after a flight, so many great hopes for the country were lost in 1979... Most of what you say is true but a lot of the progress you see in this clip was superficial which is why Shah's army all surrendered to Khomeini. In general Iran would be better off under the monarchy while trying to reform things as opposed to how it's run today.
Also can we acknowledge how much foresight this man had? :

Shah didn't do shit, that was combined pressure from Churchill and Truman and the UN that forced the USSR to withdraw support from the communists there, if not today the map would look quite different.
yes there was some correspondence between British and US governments with USSR but at the end they didn't want to interference. that was people's residence and an army led by Shah himself that defeated Pisheh Vari and USSR, Many sources confirm my words, such as the deliberations of the National Assembly, At the Dawn of the Cold War by jamil hasanli, and the photages that remain.

Hypothetically speaking, if the royal family gets reinstated, what exactly will they do to make things better? In what way can they get iran out of it’s current situation?How do we know that the people will like the new government of government? Will Iranians outside of iran even care or will they just stay the same way they have always been and care about themselves?How will they gain the support of any country at all? What if history just repeats itself and iran will be back where it started? There are so many questions and so few answers?

The only reason he was against the British was because he was a Soviet goon. The same way the communists wanted to nationalize the oil of the south and enact deals for the north with the USSR.
He fought no Bits in all his time, he mostly fought Russian goons in Northern Iran.

According to Prime Minister Abbâs Hoveydâ Iran would habe been completely independent of foreigners by 1980 and at the end of the 20th century Iran would have been a super power on pair with Germany and Japan.
