I just watched a documentary on this while on acid. The Greek computer didn’t use electricity. It used a series of gears and you would input the date and it would show you what the stars looked like at that day, or it will predict the future patterns based off of old patterns. But it got lost in a shipwreck. Pretty crazy stuff

To be completely honest here, I had a thing for my "cousin-in-law" back when I was 11 yrs old. I was a loner kid, tho, and I really didn't talk to girls at all. Romans overengineered their buildings to an extreme degree, which is why they still stand today. Nowadays we make buildings in a way where they can be torn down without too much hassle, but with exactly enough structural integrity to not collapse withing a few lifetimes.

Things didnt go back to “normal” Europe had to be denazified, reconstructed, and bankrolled, the Cold War began flaring up almost immediately, you have the Nuremberg Trials, the convening of the United Nations. I have no idea how Andrew thought things just “went back to normal” because world war was the norm.

Andrew I think eludes to this but it is very hard and most likely expensive to send trash into the sun. The earth is moving around 1000 miles per hour and to get the trash to fall into the sun you'd have to slow it down close to 0mph after leaving the earth's gravity. Which would be very expensive in fuel just for trash.
