- Our fourth #WorldOperaDay interview is with Cuban-American mezzo-soprano Emily Sierra.
A graduate of The Juilliard School, Emily was most recently a grand finals winner in the The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, being awarded the Noreen Zimmerman Award and was finalist of the Premiere Opera Foundation + NYIOP International Opera Auditions Vocal competition.
The interview includes excerpts from Bizet's 'L'amour est un oiseaux rebelle' from Carmen, accompanied on the piano by Joseph Radaman.
