It's really clear how much benefit the boys got from living together for that short time. Most teams hadn't even met each IRL before or ever had a discord call to do VOD review or anything like that

Match point would be frustrating for players as they have less out-play potential compared to games like Apex but as a viewer, watching that last wsop map that meant nothing as the 1st place team effectively already won, was dumb.
Remember when all the casuals say without movement these players would suffer? that "it's a real man's game now".
Reality : it's the same people still on top of their games, lack of movement made it much easier for them 🤣
They complain because the game feels ass and it's so slow. Not because it got harder.

In early eSports and i am going back to early 2k, top teams in CS would live with each other temporarily or LAN together to build chemistry before a major event. It helps. Chemistry doesnt always translate from online to LAN. The sooner you play together in the same room, the better. The difficulty in WZ, is lack of sponsorship to make this happen. Teams need to be managed like in CDL but sponsors would only be willing to get behind the top 3-5 teams in the game so it wouldn't benefit everyone.
Going to say it again. They need to do something like PUBG Esports do. Qualifiers and finals within your region to reach the final on land. Do this 3-4 times a year. Then a big final at the end of the year with the best teams from each region who have performed the best from the 3-4 tournaments.
The reason biffle always dominates is because he doesn’t try to dumb his skill down, he don’t give a shit who he’s going against, he does what he does
Problem with the 100k solo yolo is the odds of winning are so slim you might as well leave before the game starts and get home earlier and have a nice sleep. No one will lose sleep if they throw that game because your chances are literally 1/150.
The motivation is not there for most these players. But if you split that 100k among the top 10 (higher = more money) then that would motivate everyone to get that win. There's NOTHING competitive with solos in warzone. It's just not designed to be competitive with so much luck and RNG involved. End game is entertaining 100% but 90% of the game is just ratting it out. People only fight because they don't care about placing top because there's no prize for placing top. Only 1 lucky guy gets everything.
It's a terrible format.

Unless they put up more money it needs to be lowered so the team that actually wins the whole thing gets a better pay out, 33.3K each is shameful for something of that scale

WSOW should do match point like Apex does but they can limit the matches up to 10 games, if there are no teams that are on match point won a stage until the 10th game then highest points will decide the winner of the tournament. I think this would be more exciting and competitive and gave more chance for other team to win.
can't say a 3 piece shouldn't happen... cdl pros do it against the best of the best as well. sometimes things line up

go watch a TDM tourney then. Is still a BR, it comes down to rotations, trades, map knowledge and all. The multiplier thing is a good way to account for placement imo

Im sorry but that tournament was low teir. Nobody performed at their expected level. Awareness was different, recoil control was entirely different, confidence was non-existent.
This tournament exposed these streamers as frauds and cheaters. That trophy doesn't mean a single thing.
It's clear the real warzome community is going to have to create a separate league with strict rules to weed out the cheaters and frauds.

I'm currently finishing off the seasoning in Iri. It's not impossible Just practice and consistency. If I did it you can too.

Not really any moreso than smokes, riot shields, water, redeploy flares, etc. They just give you a chance to survive if you play things right (though obviously they need to be properly balanced to prevent devolving into BS). They're not like the TempV teleport power where it's a free bailout tho.
