- This was a disaster, but I'm glad I decided to record it.
Luckily this custom was successfully fixed and has now been sold :)

Honestly your determination was inspiring, and I definitely would hv injured myself or the LPS in the process so you did pretty well in my opinion 😌
The patients this takes reminds me how I would never manage and prop end up snapping the bead even more and part from all of that of course that custom is so gorgouse so glade it managed to get saved
Ugh this whole ordeal seems like it would be a nightmare! 😢 If it were me I probably would have just gotten too frustrated and given up...😅 Anyways I am happy to see you were able to fix the custom it looks super cool! 😎 🤣

Oh my gosh! This happened to me but with one of my husky LPS and it was my childhood favorite LPS that I had and I remember being so sad about it breaking, what I did was I soaked it in water and took out the broken piece of the neck plug and glued it back on the other part then put it back in. Obviously this made the pet more fragile but I didn’t have any double LPS or ones I would like to sacrifice for the husky. The neck does look odd but at least he’s fixed, I just have him sitting on my dresser in my room. That woodpecker will be an idol for helping the custom
Ya that’s actually what happened to this LPS to begin with before I decided to customize, but the problem is I completely forgot about that until I broke it again😅

Ahh glad you found it helpful!! I have a video on headswapping old LPS with G3 lps which might help out as well!! It goes over changing neck plugs in that one as well a bit better than this. It’s one of my more recent videos on the channel

Oh goodness! Glad you were able to fix it! If this happens again, might I recommend putting the custom in a ziplock bag and then dunking it in hot water? It protects the paint job while still warming up the plastic. Great save though!

I often have this problem with customs they ether break or instead of bobbling they just stiffly turn to the side and the only way i can reattach the head with the neck peg to the body is to put the peg in the body and then attach the head but that's still super tedious
This is why the one time I tried a neck swap I just gave up and made one out of clay and a qtip. And stuffed the head with cotton too so it didn’t go all the way in

This exact thing happened to me. I tried to glue it and then tried to rip out the stuck peg piece but it didn’t work 😣
