Jerry Kwerve I am a Bama fan that follows sec football heavily and I promise you Fulton and diggs are not better.. not as good ball skills, aggression. Coverage skills, and not as good football IQ this dude is the steal of the draft so far. And is a top 15 player
Remind me of Kyle Fuller ironically, can get beat deep, but it doesn't happen a lot. Very instinctive, best in cover 3 with and sometimes single high man. He's CB2 already on the bears and he won't have to worry about deep throws that often with our pass rush.
Facts but thats what happens when you get aggressive corners. Good thing we got a ballhawk roaming that can help out over top and a pass rush that forces the ball to come out quick
It probably should only be 2 he fell on one because he was tripped. He has been playing with a bad shoulder for two seasons too. I cant wait to see a jaylon Johnson healthy play on a top 5 defense (imo the best) the bears.
@Kyle D That's why stats were made to keep track of a players production lol no different then how a sales associate has his sales numbers tracked. Years ago stats weren't as important imo but now we have numbers that go into such depth as to receptions allowed 0-10 yards 10-20 yards 20+ yards and everything else PFF gives us because it really tells us how much of what's going on is on the player or the team. Sherman got beat deep a few times in the super bowl but you gonna say he's a bad corner lol? Corners get beat deep sometimes. It happens but to say Johnson gets beat all the time is you just hating to hate because again on Passes 20+ yards downfield he allowed 2 receptions on 17 targets so maybe you should go watch some more tape. The only times I really notice him get beat deep is on zone coverage not m2m and that could be miscomunication within the secondary. Sherman ran a 4.56 40 as well still wanna say he's not a good corner? You wanna talk stats are meaningless then you use a 40 time as your defining argument as to whether he's good or not lol. Get outta here. 40 time is one of the most overrated stats and so many players get drafted way higher than they should just because they ran a fast 40 and then they become a bust because how often is a player running a straight line 40 without pads in a game? never. If you're such an expert why you on here hating and not scouting for a team? Oh yeah cause you're an idiot.
this has 500 views but a shitty edit of this guy with some rap song gets 200,000 plus. Just watched one. Couldnt even see Jaylon play through all the transitions. and of course the only "highlights" included were pick sixes off of miscues and bad throws, smh. thank you for doing gods work.
Played against some really bad QBs. Anything under 15 yards he does a good job of. In that way he reminds me a bit of Marcus Peters. Always looking to jump the underneath route. Good tackler. Confident. Lacks long speed. Will bite hard on double moves. Can get lost in his coverage if the QB is afforded decent time in the pocket. Best Fit: 49ers
He doesn't lack speed he is baiting the QB and he is playing alot of zone alot of his bad plays were giving up a lil too much space but it was the safeties job to make the play. He fell on one and was called for a bullshit PI.
One thing that stands out is that he has a bad memory. Ive seen really talented corners just implode after giving up a TD in tight coverage like the one he gave up against USC, but he kept at it and really limited the yardage and comp % for the rezt of the game afterwards
dude learned from his mistakes all year. don't want to see that same mistake twice. Except for losing his coverage downfield that happened like 4-5 times this year.
Bear down 🐻
Fulton and Diggs are better

Jerry Kwerve nope. Only reason he was drafted this late is bc of the shoulder injury

Over 1200 coverage snaps during his Utah career. Allowed 3 TDs.
It probably should only be 2 he fell on one because he was tripped. He has been playing with a bad shoulder for two seasons too. I cant wait to see a jaylon Johnson healthy play on a top 5 defense (imo the best) the bears.
In 2019 Bears CB Jaylon Johnson covered:
Brandon Aiyuk (1st RD)
Michael Pittman (2nd RD)
Laviska Shenault (2nd RD)
Isaiah Hodgins (6th RD)
Dezmon Patmon (6th RD)
Aaron Fuller (UDFA)
He allowed 4 receptions over 10 yards. That’s 1 catch for every 13 attempts.
Kyle D he faced colorado week 12 and USC earlier in the year
Those stats are actually correct. You might want to know your facts before you tell someone they’re wrong lol.
According to PFF;
Passes 10-19 yards
Rec/Tgts: 2/14
TDs: 0
Passer Rating: 10.4
Passes 20+ yards
Rec/Tgts: 2/17
TDs: 1
Passer Rating: 41.5
Kyle D great film analysis you must be man what team do you scout for since you’re an expert?

Welcome to Chicago, Jaylon Johnson!
Aggressive and he is always right there ...this is probably the best pick the Bears made this year
Welcome to Chicago
This guy will fit nicely with the bears , opposite of Kyle fuller.

I can't stop laughing 😂😂
Please do Noah Igbinoghene from Auburn
The good part of this story is he will be our 1 corner in 2 years he will bump Fuller to number 2on the bears
Love this page. Can we get a Damon Arnette video?
Possibly. May need to be post draft "Joe Budden's Beard"😂😂

Secret: there’s one coming within a week

Damn this draft profile is spot on, love the 9er pro as well. he suffers greatly against natural speed.
He doesn't lack speed he is baiting the QB and he is playing alot of zone alot of his bad plays were giving up a lil too much space but it was the safeties job to make the play. He fell on one and was called for a bullshit PI.
All right except he’s really good on double moves
This guys feet are slow he gonna get routed in the lg. Adam's will eat his lunch why did we not get a guard. Toliver better than this dude
@@carlj2648 .
Great content on these corners bro 👌 Can we get some film of AJ Terrell from Clemson??
YES. He I'm working on Jeff Gladney rn, then Terrell will be up in the next few days. Thank thank you fam.
and also good footage 🔥
What do you think Bears fans?
I would have chosen Diggs over him.
🐻⬇️
he good be good
Go Bears
Do Amik Robertson and Trajan Bandy next
If I can get those tapes, I will.
Man to man in the NFL he'll get beat. He need somebody to be over top. But he a solid tackler
One thing that stands out is that he has a bad memory. Ive seen really talented corners just implode after giving up a TD in tight coverage like the one he gave up against USC, but he kept at it and really limited the yardage and comp % for the rezt of the game afterwards

Paul Skelly won’t happen on the bears QBs won’t have that much time, honestly one of the best places he could’ve went
Don’t see him lasting in the league long
What Ok says the guy who hasn’t been in the league at all
he seems to struggle against big receivers
I agree but he's a solid lockdown corner along wit Kyle Fuller I like it he's about 6 ft 195ish he'll grow bigger as well
I think your gonna have to be more physical in the pro game
He seems a bit lazy at times
lol yea ok
Happy with the pick but looks like he struggles in man
Herbert cant throw a spiral lol. He wont succeed in the nfl
Idk... Looks kinda skinny and small. Runs around like tiny kickers
Matt Hix uhhhh? Fake Bears fan?
