Very impressed with Savannah State's song selections executions, and arrangements of songs. A few articulates needed to be sharpened but over all they sound good and don't have to blow loud just because another band is bigger. Nice job Savannah!!
Bernard Bradley I was at the A&T/Savanah State game when they came to Greensboro, NC. They were small but they were the loudest visiting band I had heard in our (A&T’s) stands in a long time. I was shocked!! I’d hate to hear them with a band even a little larger. They would blow people out the standout. I always wanted to see them again but they left the MEAC shortly after that and went back down to D2 so we didn’t play then any more.
Like most HBCUs, SSU has to decide where to put their money. So don't get on SSU for having a small band. This includes money offered for music scholarships.

Shoutout to SSU for actually stepping to GOLDEN DELIGHT. Schools have been avoiding that all season lol Awesome sound NCAT! SSU did good. NORTH CAROLINA A&T with the (W)
I'm not big on slow songs so in this battle I didn't care much. But will say this, SSU didn't sound bad at all for their size they competed with A&T. Both bands made mistakes I think SSU made a little more than AT..I give the win to AT but it wasnt a easy one

At least double the instrumentation and SSU will be a solid threat. They sound good and full now but more size will allow them to open up even more.

They don’t need a large band though. I’ve heard them in person and if they were any bigger they would blow folk away. Their sound is powerful.
