You dont see cows on the road because in Kerala, beef is not a taboo. So instead of letting old cows/bulls roam the street and eat plastic, we make economic use of the resource.
Yes we have learnt that. This was our first days in Kerala so we didn’t know much about the culture on this state yet. Thanks for your useful comment 😊 and thanks for watching 🙏
Like the rest of the World cattle is prized for its beef in Kerala. Foreigners are amazed that cattle roam about the streets in most cities of India rather than in a ranch like Texas or California in the US. Barbecue beef and/or steak is the normal food in Europe, Canada, Australia, Argentina etc.
@@tapangupta7969 it’s our second time in india and we travelled the north last time where cows roam freely. We had no idea that wouldn’t be a thing in Kerala. We rarely eat beef ourselves but your right about meet production in the west although it differed a bit in scale between the us and Europe for example 😊
Wonderful Vlog about Kochi City. Here are some recommended Restaurants in Kochi City (a) Fort House Restaurant, (b) Asian Kitchen, (c) The Rice Boat, (d) Dhe Puttu, Brindhavan Vegetarian Restaurant. Some worth visiting Places to Explore in Kochi City-(1) Beaches: Andhakaranazhi, Cherai & Vypeen; (2) Islands-Bolghatty & Vypeen; (3) Historical Heritages: Mattancherry and Hill Palace Museum; (4) Nature: Marine Drive and Kodanand Elephant Training Centre. Famous Local Products from Kochi City-Spices, Cashewnuts, Sea Shell Artifacts, Coir Handicrafts, Gems and Jewellery. Take Care. Cheers 😊😊
There is nothing like Muslim area or Christiaan area or Hindu area, we live together . You might have seen places of worship of different religions in very close proximity. Jewish community in the olden days (before migration) had good relationship with all communities . An old Jewish lady who died few years back was taken care of by a Muslim family, she was living alone and she didn't like to go to Israel. There are more than 40 ethnic communities living in Kochi .
Thanks so much for this information. We had just arrived in kochi and walking in that area it felt like there were more Muslim people there. Now after some time here we have learnt that people in Kerala all live together just like it should be. What a beautiful story about the Jewish lady who was taken care of by the a Muslim family 💛. We’re all humans and this is how humans should act towards one another 🙏🤩💫
@@TimezoneJunkies Thank u. The name of the Jewish lady was Sara Cohen(maybe I have not spelled the name correct). She was a very kind , sweet and lovely lady. It is more expensive in Kerala than any other state in India. Comparing just some urban focal points around the country with Kerala, you cannot find the difference but when you do state to state comparision kerala is expensive because of it being a consumer state and a good share of products available are exported from other states thus heigher price for goods. Kerala also have the heighest population density causing the land price to shoot up resulting in higher rents. Daily wage of unskilled workers is also the heighest in the country so service sector is also expensive.
