There is a lot of hysteria here. The situation would not become "dire" even if Iran retaliates a 2nd time. There would be no ground war between Israel and Iran because there are too many countries in between them. So it would just be air force vs air force, and missiles vs missiles. Israel has an excellent 5-layered anti-air defense, while Iran has almost nothing. Israel's airforce is modern, while Iran is from the 80's. There would be very few casualties for Israel.

Iran purposely warned Israel before they launched the attack so they could prepare for it. It cost Israel about 1 billion dollars in missiles to defend the attack. Next time if Iran launch an even larger attack with n0o warning, it will be very destructive. Although i don't think they will.

It is not Iran, it is the Satanclaus in power in Iran. Big difference.
Seems to me that rather than being symbolic this first strike could be punching a hole in the air defense capabilities, not with the intention of imminent large scale attack by Israel, but a statement and way to prepare a larger response if it needs to happen. Since it was known by Israel five days in advance of the last attack, they might be able to hit Iran gain before they can even draw back their fist.

The first rule of air control is to take away your enemies ability to defend against your air force. Usually, radar sites that give early warning of an air attack are some of the first targets, along with SAM sites, and enemy aircraft Once he radar is down than you can strike at will at any other targets you want to. With Russia in a war in the Ukraine and the West sanctioning Iran it will be difficult for Iran to repair/replace its radar. Iran will need to turn to China for its air defense needs, but China is already selling parts and equipment to Russia for its war. This leaves Iranian air defense weakened. The Iranian air force is outdated and based on American jets which it cannot maintain, leaving Iran in a very difficult position.
If Irans fleet of military aircraft have passed their expiration date and parts are difficult to acquire why does Iran still use these aircrafts and not invest in modern Russian or Chinese military aircraft. Someone please answer this question?
Well Iran is a massive country , it is technically impossible to have a 100 air shield in Iran . So its not a big deal for Israel to find holes . From other side Israel is smaller than the smallest province in Iran . Iran informed US about the attack before the attack itself , it sent lasy drones and missiles taking several hours to reach . with all Israeli allies involved with the latest technology , it did break through the Israeli air defense even in small numbers . BUT THAT WAS THE HOLE POINT

The demonstration is slow burn capability (not their best stuff) and the coordination (after announcing it for weeks). So, that's one of them.
The other is that Iran actually followed international law protocol, which US and the israeli regime are struggling with regarding civilian casualties, starvation, targeting medical professionals, aid workers, and hospitals, and a number of "this ain't professional soldiering" war crimes documented and verified on the ground in Gaza.

Yes, the problem with the above comments is that they assume Iran will reveal all of its facilities. Israel gets this information from spying and working with dissenters in Iran. Most likely it was a facility which had a connection with the nuclear program, but don't expect the Islamic Republic of Iran to actually tell you that.

Did they forgot that there is one major difference, Iran deliberately used old easily detectable missiles and slow moving drones and they gave Turkey and other Arab countries a head up leading to the counter strikes. Iran intended to respond in a way that would not give israil an exscuse to exclusive the conflict if an end scenario where most of the missiles where intercepted and no civilian where targeted. Isrial didn’t gave a head up and did use advance missiles with the intention to cause destruction. Israil cross the red line by attacking an embassy which by the way is consider Iranian territory. The rule of engagement is to never cross the line of a hot war, israil did that the moment they tarred Iran directly. Even American can’t control israil they are a loose cannon.
