Those who dislike this video are those who make photography tutorials. They disliked it bcoz they can't make this level of professional videos. They are disliking this videos bcoz they can't imagine they can make this quality videos in near future. SALUTE to Pixel Village. DO U AGREE GUYS!!!
I have watched many many and many videos about histogram and getting the right exposures for taking images, but this one clearly wins. The topic is explained in such a good way that even a child get understand it many thumbs up for Pixel Village.
The best clear video class on histogram on black - Grey-white and why? A superb one and a must for every photographer.. For the best exposure. Thanks Mr Radhakrishnan for finest video class! It's Class👌
Watching your videos is like mom feeding a child. I literally feel like you are writing everything into memory space of my brain. Explanation is so simple to understand and your body language is making me more attentive.
This is how an idol photography class should be,simple yet powerful explanation The only photography channel i've subscribed Like the way you deliver, your voice and personality I am a fan of your malyali accent of speaking english :) Thank you so much sir for :)
I feel proud and glad when your international viewers appreciate your teaching on camera that you explain such an easy way that even a child can understand it. Thank God to make you an Indian. Also thank you Mr. Radhakrisnan.
I don't use my histogram 99% of the time. Regarding bright conditions, I use a Hoodman Loupe. I never shoot outdoors without one. I don't want to be looking at a graph to decipher tones. Besides, I almost never want the 18% grey exposure the camera gives me. I will say, though, regarding exposure, it's a great starting point to getting what you want. This is a very clear explanation on what the histogram actually is and does so great job.
Thanks for really informative video. I have tried to understand histogram from at least 20 you tube videos, but none has explained so simple, nicely and in a usable way!
The camera takes a reflective light reading, the hand held light meter takes a reading of ambient light ( incident light ). An easy way to take an ambient light reading is to hold an Expodisc in front of the lens, use your exp lock button on camera to take a light reading then take your shot. The Expodisc is calibrated to receive 18% of the ambient light.
Awesome tutorial! I love the way you put the explanation across in a very easy and informative manner. By far the 'BEST' Histogram tutorial on UA-cam! 😎 👍
omg!! Sir I have been seeing youtube tutorials for quite some time and trust me I have seen thousands of videos. But I can safely say this video is the best tutorial for histogram on youtube. Your determination to make the concept clear is absolutely evident. Thanks a lot!!
You are a photo scientist. How well you explained with those simple examples the mechanism of camera capturing the the light. I am just starting to take the camera in my hands and even though I have seen so many tutorials I am seeing very little improvement in my photography. Thank you so much for making it easy to understand histogram.
This is the absolute BEST explanation of histograms in photography. I like the examples so much because I now understand the meaning of the histogram relative to the subject. Truly world class video!! You are the best
Wonderfully explained, I've watched over a 100 videos to actually understand exposure and histograms. All I could understand was camera looks for 18% grey. No one explained it soo theoretically. I would rate this the best among I've what I had watched.
I just discovered you and your tutorials, and find you pretty amazing. You have an indepth knowledge of photography and an intrinsic info about how camera works. Above all you have the ability to teach and make others understand what you are saying.
This is by far the best video I've found on youtube, explaining the basics as well as the nuances of 'histogram' in the easiest way possible. Kudos to the entire team to have come up with such an informative and helpful video.
Most of Western "PRO" fotographer just tease explaining parts to sell theit online tutorials. You sir are a gem in foto tutorial genre. Subbed and hopefully at some point I will be able to set my camera to full manual. The odd thing is after watching totorials I'm so excited to try the same thing but fotos still aren't good. Once I understand why I'll start shooting good quality pics. The composition and artism will come later.
Yea I was thinking the same thing. He is understandable as well which is nice. So far his stuff is concise and good. Been shooting a long time and learned much by experience. Good to know I’m on track with things so far.
I've said it once but it's worth saying again. You have the most relaxing voice on the internet. Excellent information this time, really enjoyed it. Really nice work.
I am very fortunate that I have subscribed to your channel. I have had a lot of problems with exposure for a long time.Luckily I got to see this video of yours and today I can say with a thump that none of the pictures I took are over or under exposed. Your smile and your tone do make you a very affable person, A curious learner could reach you with question after question without any inhibition or hesitation. Thats what I feel when I watch your videos. Believe me, not many seniors have shared their knowledge with such warmth when I approached, there was always a tinge of snobbery what a 'photography snob' would possess with a condescending attitude. Learning is certainly beneficial, it helps us to get better in what we aspire to do, but when we get an opportunity to learn without being ridiculed or belittled, it is certainly a boon(bonus). I did not intend to sound judgmental about your persona Sir, but I just expressed how I felt when I learn the nuances of this craft from your videos. Keep rocking. All the best.
