Was jonesing hard for a Comet, and then a Black Magick Reverb, and then the Amulet and passed on all of them due to all the things I've read about reliability and manufacturer "defects". And sure enough I come here, once more looking at Supros, only this time the Royale, and the review, once again, is prefaced with an issue. In fact, every Supro this reviewer mentions he's had in his possession has had one issue or another. I guess I'll stick to Fender and Tone King.
Great follow-up review update! I do ned a new amp at some point soon and have been investigating what's out there - Princeton a sort of tried and tested option but I'm increasingly leaning towards checking out Supro 'in the flesh' in large part due to your own work and playing style, so thanks for this!
Jack, would you mind making a video comparing the Epiphone Casino Elitist, the one made in the USA and the recent and new Casino outfit? In my opinion, you are one of the maximum authorities in the knowledge of the casino and it would be very interesting for everyone to know your impressions. Thanks from Cádiz, Spain.
I've owned the 2x12 version of this amp for almost a year now, and I must say its my favorite amp I've ever owned. I run it 90% of the time in class AB mode with the boost on, as a pedal platform. Fantastic tone that really cuts through the mix.
The Royale does it all. Chime to red-dirt grit & all universes in between. The note articulation is what stand out. Perfectly voiced. Bravo, Supro! And great playing, Jack!
Love these one year reviews! Glad you're still digging your Royale!
Great update, i got into supro with the delta king 12 and now i play it more than my fender deluxe reverb. Thanks again!

Awe man, I gotta get myself a Supro Royale...love those tones!
One question: this one vs the Fender Supersonic 22, which one do you prefer? Thank you.
The BD12 in the Saturn was overly boomy, I wonder if they corrected that feature in the new Supro line.
It's a really nice sounding amp no matter what guitar you put into it.
Sounded best with the tele at the end imo
Have you tried the effects loop? What did you think?
Yes, it works quite well.
with my telecaster's i found that my super reverb was the sweet spot, but i would like to try a Supro with them
Merci 👍🏻
Or the amulet trying to decide what to go with might play out with it sometimes
Can this get to "bed room" level with the master vol or will my neighbours still cheer me on through the walls?
uhhh, exactly what guitars are you using?
