I think Create's single most important factor is that it is highly accessible and easy to learn for anyone. The in-game "Ponder" system shows you a 3D animation on how any components work, making you not even need to go on UA-cam for a guide for the basics
I love how Create fits in with the vanilla style so well while doing such crazy things you'd never expect minecraft to be capable of. The fact that it's mechanisms are arguably easier to understand than redstone makes it my favorite mod ever, with farmer's delight being a close second.
This was a great video!! My personal favourite part about Create is the updates. They literally never hit wrong (except for maybe the new way to configure components, I'd love to have an option to use the old way with a wrench)
Hey there! I'm one of the team members for the Create mod! So happy you love the mod, this was a really sweet video, put a big smile on my face! I dunno if we deserve all this praise, but still, thank you! Crazy to think it's been 3 years!
@@lemonskyryan I'm very excited for what the team has coming next! May be a ways off yet, but hopefully will be just as well liked as previous updates!
@@evanb2600 can we get the way to make the belt full colors like we had in early days? i mean i must admit the old style full colors conveyor looked too modern, but with create found its Steampunk-esque theme, having darker tone of full color conveyor along with stripped one will looks more fun and giving more accessibilities to differentiate wich belt goes where from far away than stripped
The Create mod to me has a development team that completely outshines Mojang themselves. You actually care about the game, and consistently push out updates. The Create mod IS the best mod for minecraft.
My favorite part about Create is its scalability. With Immersive Engineering, you need a dozen different blocks made of a hundred different parts to craft a bucket drill that can dig out a ton of resources, making it a powerful late game structure due to its cost and complexity. In Create, all you need is a handful of materials to slap a drill and chest on a furnace minecart and make a tunnel bore. It's far simpler and easier to get early, but also can be upgraded with better parts later to make it more effective (more drills, more storage, powered rails, deployers to make bridges) In short, the simplicity of Create's single block machines allows the player to scale to whatever production level is needed, instead of having single larger machines that do a lot but cost a lot
Yes, exactly! I would compare Create to building with legos. Each piece is small and easily understandable. But when you put them together, you can create a personalized structure that can be as complicated as you’d like. Each piece is still removable and customizable, unlike other mods
In create for tunnel bores to get alot of ores you get your self a ton of andesite alloy and iron to make a bunch of drills, then figure out a way to make them move
@@bubbywubby0309early game, you need 9 drills at most. Thats a few iron ingots and andesite alloy, BOTH of which can be easily automated. 1 large andesite vein gives you about 2-5 stacks. To make it move, you literally just need a minecart, cart assembler and rails. And yes, I only started playing with create a week or two ago.
The biggest draw of Create, at least for me, is how much of it is in-world. There are relatively few UI screens in Create compared to most other tech mods, and even a lot of magic mods, I kind of compare it to Thaumcraft in terms of in-world interaction.
thaumcraft was the best mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 in terms of the number of mechanics and the player's ability to interact with the world, I have so many good memories of this mod.
@@AshEshyr it may be cool, untill you realise, that you have to request items from your corporea network with CHAT MESSAGES. That one thing is really inconvinient.
I think main reason why Create managed to get so popular in such a short period of time is because of how beautiful and fun it is to the average player that doesnt really have prior experience to other tech mods, Not just furnace#1-(pipe)-furnace#2(multiblock).
That and the fact that waterwheels, wooden cogs and mechanical presses that look similar to regular pistons feel a lot more at home in minecraft than eldritch draconic thermonuclear generators.

You forgot possibly the biggest thing: Entirely custom-made moving structures. Extending beyond just the farm and windmill, a lot of people love Create's ability to make virtually anything move. It's sparked an entire group of content where people just make trains and doors. Just doors. It's simple to understand, complicated to master, and will always give a different challenge each time you try to reach the same goals in a different space. It's a constantly unique experience and you can't take that away.
Hah once I got a hang of it, one of the first things I used it for was a room that turns into a different room in the style of the Clockwork mansion from Dishonored 2.
I remember the first time I saw the Create mod was on a modded server with a bunch of friends. One of them had built the most beautiful windmill I'd ever seen rotating smoothly and I just had to ask them how they did it. They then proceeded to give me a lengthy explanation of everything the mod can do and at the time I remember feeling like a kid in a candy shop. Its more than just a tech mod, it can do so many things that I hadn't even dreamed of doing but now I just had to. That's what Create is to me, everything you could possibly wish Mojang would add in the next update, Create can in some fashion do it in many different ways and with so much freedom to express however you want. And its not even done yet, with every new update there's an extra piece that adds a new branch of infinite possibilities to explore. As you said in the video, I could see Create standing the test of time. There's always going to be new unique contraptions that can be invented.
i should say that Before redstone were developed Notch want to use cogwheel and rotational power before it was deem super complicated and scraped in place of the new redstone mechanics so Create is Technically continuing that Vision of Notch
create is the thing that survival minecraft always needed for me. I love building but the boring resource grind made it tough to want to play survival, and playing creative mode always lacks that satisfaction of builds being really lived in. Create not only makes the resource grind a bit quicker but also just more interesting and varied, while giving more objectives to chase and cool blocks to make builds more lively.
@@OwenG20Hz You're so right. I like the survival element, getting resources and stuff, but when you have to afk in a farm that is basically just a tower, for hours, it just ruins it for me. I personally would rather have a better, and more automated way to get resources, so i can spend time building instead, which this seems it can do. (I think you can make alot of farms to get blocks and stuff, I'm not really sure so feel free to correct me)
The most important point is: It's enabling the players to do powerful automation without the result being too overpowered and also still looking the part - iE, not just a single block or uniquely valid multiblock structure. You can still inspect it and understand all its parts. It does not devalue the effort of achievements in vanilla automation the same way that singleblock-industry mods tend to do and therefore meshes with vanilla playstyles far better than any of those.
Let’s not forget the SchematiCannon in this mod! Out of ALL of the Schematic mods out there, it feels the most balanced with better use for gunpowder and a better way to have requirements of making the builds you want to create with it. It just feels a lot of fun doing so, and reward is far from beneficial :)
Many valid points there ngl, but i feel like you forgot one very important thing. The Create mod has a vast amount of add-ons. The Create mod's ecosystem went rly big in the past few months, when you look at aeronautics, clockwork, Create Deco, Brewin' And Chewin' and many more.
Create Aero and Clockwork are trying to achieve similar things on different physics engines. Yes, physics engines. The days of Archimedes ships being super laggy and buggy messes is soon coming to a end and the dream for moving block structures is quickly becoming reality. Clockwork use Valkyrian Skies 2, which can be installed separately but doesn't add any content other then allowing these structures to exist. Aeronautics uses Landlord, both being unreleased and Landlord only being available to developers making mods for it for now with no public release. Create simply showed it was possible to have moving block stuff, and now people are trying to make it fully a reality.
I think that one important thing here is the fact that most automation mods give you single block machines that just do something all at once. Create instead gives you building blocks, that don't do too much on their own, and you need to assemble them on your own to make something useful. This makes the mod much more interesting, and visual. Have you noticed that create has almost no GUI's?
One thing that sets Create apart from other mods is the fact that most crafting processes are out in the open. Most other tech mods, like Immersive Engineering has buildings that hide it, you just put in the resources and then out comes the product. In most of Create, however, you actually see the process take place. The mixing of ingredients, grinding of the ores, and the toppings of the baked goods are a few examples (The grindstone doesn't show its process, but I think we can all imagine it's just mini grind wheels in it). That is what makes it so satisfying as well, alongside the transportation. Create basically broke down the walls of many tech mod blocks, and because of the modularity with its parts, you can get the exact ratios without too much hassle. I believe Create is a mod that can't really be topped in what it does best, or at the very least easily. I know this is a lengthy explanation, but then again, Create has a much longer list of things that can be built with it.
i first found create shortly after it released, before it even was a tech mod. i remember when all the tech stuff came out, and it was so unsearchable. i'd look up "minecraft create mod" and see only videos about creating minecraft mods, having to scroll and scroll before i got to create videos. im glad to see how far it has come.
Ignoring the time a virus was going around the jar files. I came back to Minecraft because of the train update/addons of Create. It just brings fresh air to the game. Like looking at an alternate version of Minecraft if the gear item was successful instead of redstone.
My favorite part of this mod and why I think it's so perfect is how you can use it to solve problems in many different ways, practical ways, efficient ways, really fun and silly ways. I am really glad you brought up Hermitcraft. I think it's the ideal way to enjoy the game. I am a huge fan of GoodTimesWithScar and he's actually already messed with Create, recently even making a desert runway with a little plane. Overall why I think this mod is perfect is because I've genuinely been inspired to use it as a way to make a story. I want a train station, I want a crazy evil looking factory filled with lava, I want a giant airship that deploys flying rats into the sky!
Another thing with Create is that the mod works. How many times you had a mod that doesn't work properly? I never had any issues with anything Create-related. And the "ponder" option it's just an excellent way of adding well made documentation inside the game
I think the Create models for the gears and conveyor belts are just a little too over-modeled to feel legitimately vanilla, but despite that its still close enough to not feel too out of place. They work well with the vanilla textures.
0:36 *"Lucky Block, Spawn, Galacticraft, andTwilight Forest to name a few"* Oh man, you totally left out the Aether...THE definitive mod that changed the game
Another thing is that create utilizes already existing minecraft resources, it does add some of their own but these are brass and zinc and some decorative stones, thats it
really nice job on the video :) amazing quality. However, as someone who had previously never heard of create, you only explained what the mod did at 4:40, i was left having to piece it together via the background footage without a direct informational overview. I feel that a proper explanation early into the video would be fitting and also advantageous to both you and the viewer. keep up the nice videos :)
Can’t forget about create expansion and add on mods, from smaller expansion mods, enchantment industry, above and beyond, or larger game mechanic ones like off-road expansion and the almighty aeronautics. It’s pretty incredible stuff
I could not agree with you more, I think the first time I saw Create was when it’s initial boom in popularity hit back in 2019-2020 and I think it was through the Epic SMP or the Cogchamp SMP (Fundy and his friends) and I was absolutely blown away by how complex yet simple the mod was and how much modularity it had, it made me think things of Minecraft I had never thought about before or ever thought was possible. I personally would say create is the best and most influential mod ever made but there are other greats (E.g. tinkers, immersive engineering) which were probably inspiration for create (mostly talking about immersive engineering)
A thing you missed is the insanely powerful codebase, which makes it very easy (relative to other mods) for addon developers to add things which work with already existing create mod blocks and items.
I think a massive part of create’s ongoing success is due to the sheer amount of addons; Clockwork, Enchantment industry, Aeronautics, Liftoff, Offroad, Steam ‘n’ Rails, Stuff and Things, and about a bajillion other ones that are out or in development.
There's even a mod that adds combustion engines as power generation. Get the resources to fuel them and they become very powerful, but just like real life combustion engines, they require infrastructure and engineering to support them.
Another thing to think about is how much worldbuilding this could expand upon in a lot of diff types of servers and allow for so much more capabilities in all kinds of aspects of the game. Personally I would love to see more steampunk and or fantasy servers with a large scale of players and just being able to see all the different types of aeronautics and how players use to mod to expand on their specific interests, ie: a floating restaurant, sky ports for trade, and all kinds of stuff.
one detail i like about treefelling with the mechanical saw is that all the items will fall in a line that faces away from the saw, as if the tree really fell in that direction. it also makes it easier to get the items too.
Create is everything I ever wanted from a single mod. Not that that stops me from still using a hundred more mods alongside it cuz I'm a mod junkie, but still. If I could only pick one mod, it would be Create, hands down I remember back in the day when BuildCraft and IndustrialCraft were the two kings of tech mods. Now Create is taking the throne
Create is really something special. It integrates itself into vanilla very well, while adding mechanics that open up a lot of possibilities that players only could have dreamed of, most importantly moving contraptions. The sheer amount of ways contraptions can be used; in farms, in windmills, minecart contraptions, trains... all rely on this mechanic. And the way Create is visually pleasing: You have all those moving parts and great animations happening in the world, with little to no GUIs. Automation is handled in a way, that isn't too complicated, but leaves a lot of space for creativity. Trains are another good example: Create doesn't give you, say 10 train models and thats it, instead you build the trains yourself out of regular blocks. Create does everything in a way, that allows for creativity, and thats what Create is all about, and why it fits into vanilla so nicely.
I don't know if I'd want everything from create in vanilla. Things like bulk processing obsolete many aspects of the vanilla game, after all why would you use furnaces at all if you can just wash or blast it using a fan basically for free with few downsides? I would really like ideas from creates rail system to be in vanilla though. Like being able to reliably link tracks between the overworld and nether, actual coupling between carts, simulating trains outside a players render distance, stuff like that.
Create to me feels like it belongs in vanilla. It’s such an outstanding mod that allows so much creativity, and its style fits so well with the rest of the world. Every time I see the mod, it just feels like minecraft.
Im just now getting into create. I'm enjoying roleplaying as an alien trying to make use of the materials available on the planet and figuring out technologies with it
In my opinion create’s biggest innovation is to have buildable contraptions that move. This adds a lot of dynamics to Minecraft, something it is sorely missing. The fact that you build the contraptions yourself without many restrictions also plays into Minecraft’s biggest strength: it’s one of a kind building mechanic
0:40 So did Advanced Rocketry. Not only has the 1.16 version been removed, but it only has documentation for the 1.12 version. However is is at least (However good Create Is) time as good as it's major competitor, GalacticCraft, which doesn't have buildable rockets yet, you know, the feature simular to create's contraption system!
i'm just leaning into Create and what's drawing me to it, is how I loved immersive engineering and Tinker's construct. I love the idea of multi-block doodads and machines.
This is why, to me, the mod trifecta is Minecraft Comes Alive, Create, and Tough as Nails. They just fill in the things that feel missing in vanilla to me, you know?
I appreciate the use of the newer Minecraft music... Most Minecraft videos either use other music, or only the classic nostalgia music. The newer tracks are super underrated.
As someone who LOVES multiblock structures, I still agree with Create being the best Minecraft mod. Goes with anything, from One Piece to Kingdom Hearts to Pokémon. Unlike Redstone, you can do A LOT without a Ph.D, but when you see someone who really KNOWS Create, you get arguably an even bigger joy from watching their work.
One thing I like about create is that everything relies on kinetic power sources instead of electricity. I've always been big into locomotives so seeing how things are working as they work is always exciting for me, building huge machines to do things for me tickles the right spots in my brain.
I love its way of teaching new concepts with 'ponder', so much more interesting than the usual boring wiki or guidebook! I also love how it feels like the 'vanilla redstone' of modded, where redstone in vanilla is the complex wiring part, easy to get into, hard to master, and useful, it often doesn't cut it in modded, however, where it falls behind, create mod picks up, it would be op in vanilla, but in a modded environment, it feels just right, and still, easy to get into, hard to master
This video was really well done. I've been playing since 2012 on consoles and later made the switch to PC without ever playing much more than pixelmon when it comes to mods. This video has completely sold me and it makes me nostalgic for the golden age of tinker's construct. *subscribes in elder zoomer*
Talking about big mods influencing the community and not bringing up MUCH older stuff like Tekkit and Better Than Wolves makes me feel... old. It's simple, really, Minecraft's biggest "hole" is making stuff move, and Create does that in a way that fits right into the Minecraft philosophy of making useful machines by knowing how blocks interact rather than just... making a block that does stuff.
The Create Mod is one of those mods where you WISH it could be fully incorporated into vanilla, but have to accept why not. Create, for all its style and freedom, is still fundamentally tied to manufacturing-style progression. Instead of exploring to find new materials that has unique properties for a specific use, you have to settle in an area and transform it into a workshop of sorts, if not a full-blown factory. So while the Create Mod can never be added to Minecraft, it is still painful knowing this.
Tip: if you are playing with create, install integrated dungeons and structures, as you can find many structures that contain blocks from create and other mods.
Create is really cool. Unfortunately I never came to play with it because I can't find enough powerful optimization mod, that works with flywheel. Maybe someone can suggest any?
I can't really help you with your question, but I did find something sorta (???) related the other day. There's a mod on curseforge that lets flywheel run better with shaders on. It's called "Iris & Oculus Flywheel Compat" and it boosted my performance a ton. It's only useful if you use shaders though. :/
@@SameedChowdhury Oh? Great thanks to you, it will be really helpful. I played with shaders once and cannot play without them now. I hope that they will not significantly drop perfomance
This is because, contrary to most mods and modpacks, Create understands the spirit of Minecraft and seeks to augment it. In most other mods, Minecraft is the "engine" in which the new content is built upon. When you, for example, play Gregtech, you're not playing Minecraft anymore, you're playing GregTech. The experience is fundamently different, although the engine, the base, is the same. Most modpacks, specially the most popular, are like this, and for good reason: Minecraft is a very flexible base to make a unique gameplay experience. But there're few who seek to enchance the core experience, because it's greatest strengh is also its biggest weakness: freedom from objetives. Many people see this as a failing, so most mods and modpacks seek to give fixed objetives to the player, to make it more like Terraria. Terraria is seen as the better of the two, it is a sandbox with a purpose: progress by defeating bosses. In this, Terraria is an excellent game, but I believe it fails at being a good sandbox because the sandbox is only as useful and worth engaging as it's ability defeat bosses and progress through the game. Hence, the sandbox is already "solved", the most efficient and useful builds invented, whit little interest in exploring its potencial. The objetive limits the scope of the sandbox. This also happens in Gregtech. There's no creativity in Gregtech, only problem-solving, grind and building a factory. And, once again, in this, Gregtech is an excellent experience, but there's no reason to build anything else. Minecraft, the game, is the antithesis of this design, giving tools wtihout bounding with strict objetives. It is a sandbox for its own sake, it dares you to use it, to explore it, to break it. It's a puzzle box without solution, but with inumeral possible shapes. Create greatly expands the sandbox, and in this, it is absolutely glorious. It is very close to unlocking the biggest limit of the Minecraft sandbox: you can build anything in form, but not in function. When this is acomplished, we can consider it, indeed, the most revolucionary of Minecraft mods.
Something that I think makes create the best tech mod is the fact that you can find it for the newer versions giving you access to minecrafts newer stuff. (Also because of what the comment below me says)
Alot of technology mods or just mods with a tech design or whatever seem to be always for outdated versions from what I know. example: HBM Nuclear Tech Mod
I honestly think Create set off a new golden age of minecraft modding. Like i know modding has never gone away, but for years you had that all the old great packs like FTB were stuck in the previous golden era of v1.12, with mods stagnating in creativity ever since. Java Minecraft was seen as limited, too easy to break or cause performance to plummet like mad if you tried anything fancy beyond static blocks and maybe other planes of existence, but Create burst unto the scene and showed how far modding can go now! That the age of simple blocks is long past and the sky is the limit. Reinvigorating modders to keep pushing with new versions of MC and reviving old ideas.
i can't play without create anymore. Normal pistons with slime blocks became suddenly useless to me. i can't believe i ever managed to build an elevator in vanilla
I think industrialcraft might be one of the most important and significant mods ever created for minecraft, it layed the groundwork for countless other mods like gregtech
I few things that make Creat great: 1. It's like Redstone, as there are countless ways to build the same thing, and there are never really a one block solution. 2. It looks right. It perfectly fits into vanilla. Some mods are straight up ugly, or even terrifying. 3. It feels right. That I can put a block in a Minecart, blocks interacts with other blocks, piston can be longer. It feels like all would be in Vanilla Minecraft if the game was today..
Actually this is the worst mod imo.. They made me to no longer able to enjoy playing regular minecraft without this mod, to the point that i dont mind not having optifine as long i have create
Create is so cool looking. Its progression keeps you hooked. But my favorite thing has to be airships and normal ships, can’t have just trains lol. I have seen some people make ships with phantom trains, but free ships would be awesome. I haven’t seen any airships really, only through other mods. Although create areo is being made. But I guess phantom rails could work for airships too, I really do need to test that tho lol.

It is Factorio in Minecraft, except that you create the machines from parts. It is so cool. Given with leisure time, I would dive into Create mod more.
My friend started a server with a modpack with create as the focus, i was reluctant at first but i was amazed at how well it fit with and improves upon the vanilla game. It feels like if mojang made an official dlc or expansion to the game
Waay back when, my friends bubble aways played modded instead of vanilla, they used to spent day in and day out playing with technical mods. As a builder, I enjoyed more aventure mods like tropicraft, aether and such, but Ive aways been there with them just along for the ride while building stuff for what they needed, I couldnt care less on what they where doing and I thought those countless machines was honestly really boring, specially when a single block did stuff in the most broken way possible, once you got materials for the insane crafting, there was nothing else to do. Usually at this point the server died. Mekanism was the first one that caught my eye, made me learn how to use it and ended up playing a bunch of factions it was pretty cool, but I quickly got bored of it. Years later, when I found out about create, it was life changing lmao, the less focus on crafting and more on what you do with the tools given is just amazing, now I cant even play the game without it, suddenly vanilla was the one who got boring, its wild.
as i got more and more familiar with create, all i could think about was a video just like this one so that i could justify why this mod was so special to me. without a doubt, this is the best "why create is the best minecraft mod ever" video ever. couldn't have done it better myself.

It's a constantly unique experience and you can't take that away.
this is easily my fav part. my builds are always static but with Create i can make moving parts that add a lot of dynamics to a build.
Hah once I got a hang of it, one of the first things I used it for was a room that turns into a different room in the style of the Clockwork mansion from Dishonored 2.
Bh
Create makes Minecraft alive. Minecraft alone makes me feel eerie.
that's why I said "me", not us.
There's always going to be new unique contraptions that can be invented.
i should say that Before redstone were developed Notch want to use cogwheel and rotational power before it was deem super complicated and scraped in place of the new redstone mechanics
so Create is Technically continuing that Vision of Notch
@@ShiroCh_IDI’d love to see what he thinks of the Create mod
Create is op if used and right and just fun all around, it's so unique, so open to imagination and perfect for any open world
unfortunately not many people have imaginations nowadays
Quarry and destroy the WORLD. That's actually a possibility, i did it once, my basement was deep to bedrock level
create is the thing that survival minecraft always needed for me.
@@scottthesmartape9151then they wouldn't be playing minecraft
It's criminally underrated, beacuse you can get a load of gunpowder by washing crushed Zinc
@@yurm5767you can also create a single harming potion in a basin and get about 3/4 of a stack of gunpowder by using cinder dust 🙂
I didn't even know people made mods that allow you to load in builds from other worlds without a super long command
@@bubbywubby0309 I’m pretty sure it’s as old as WorldEdit
all schematic files aren't supported unfortunately
Many valid points there ngl, but i feel like you forgot one very important thing. The Create mod has a vast amount of add-ons. The Create mod's ecosystem went rly big in the past few months, when you look at aeronautics, clockwork, Create Deco, Brewin' And Chewin' and many more.
Sure, but those addons exist because the base mod is good and has many people that like it.
No one makes addons for a mod no one uses
I've only used the enchantment industry addon because personally, it feels the most "create" to me
Brewin' And Chewin' isn't even a create addon btw
It's kinda crazy industrialcraft is so lost to time that it doesn't even get a mention despite being THE tech mod back in the early days
Personally, Farmer's Delight and Create mod are born to be together, can't just play without one.
Burger factory fr 😂
i first found create shortly after it released, before it even was a tech mod. i remember when all the tech stuff came out, and it was so unsearchable. i'd look up "minecraft create mod" and see only videos about creating minecraft mods, having to scroll and scroll before i got to create videos.
im glad to see how far it has come.
What a good time to be a modded minecraft player
Ignoring the time a virus was going around the jar files. I came back to Minecraft because of the train update/addons of Create. It just brings fresh air to the game. Like looking at an alternate version of Minecraft if the gear item was successful instead of redstone.
only if you like automation of course
0:36 *"Lucky Block, Spawn, Galacticraft, andTwilight Forest to name a few"*
Oh man, you totally left out the Aether...THE definitive mod that changed the game
Another thing is that create utilizes already existing minecraft resources, it does add some of their own but these are brass and zinc and some decorative stones, thats it
It just fits man. Lore friendly, optimised, game friendly, AESTHETIC, game extension, Its just awesome AWESOME.
really nice job on the video :) amazing quality. However, as someone who had previously never heard of create, you only explained what the mod did at 4:40, i was left having to piece it together via the background footage without a direct informational overview. I feel that a proper explanation early into the video would be fitting and also advantageous to both you and the viewer.
keep up the nice videos :)
Hey, this is a really good video. I’d recommend at least giving Oh The Biomes You Go a shoutout. This video gave that mod a heavy showcase as well lol
thanks, I was wondering which biome mod it was!
Can’t forget about create expansion and add on mods, from smaller expansion mods, enchantment industry, above and beyond, or larger game mechanic ones like off-road expansion and the almighty aeronautics. It’s pretty incredible stuff
Dont forget TFMG :>
Above amd beyond is a modpack, so its not only about create but also has other mods
A very underrated part of Create is how cheap/easy the recipes are
Except getting a blaze
A thing you missed is the insanely powerful codebase, which makes it very easy (relative to other mods) for addon developers to add things which work with already existing create mod blocks and items.
I think a massive part of create’s ongoing success is due to the sheer amount of addons; Clockwork, Enchantment industry, Aeronautics, Liftoff, Offroad, Steam ‘n’ Rails, Stuff and Things, and about a bajillion other ones that are out or in development.
I mean, with a base mod so good, not expanding with add-ons would be criminal
modding^2
There's even a mod that adds combustion engines as power generation. Get the resources to fuel them and they become very powerful, but just like real life combustion engines, they require infrastructure and engineering to support them.
Oh boy, wait til you hear about interactive
If I could only pick one mod, it would be Create, hands down
I remember back in the day when BuildCraft and IndustrialCraft were the two kings of tech mods.
Create does everything in a way, that allows for creativity, and thats what Create is all about, and why it fits into vanilla so nicely.
don't forget about how many unique and amazing addons for create there is my favorite being steam & rails.
Create is one of the few mods I would love to see being implemented into the base game
I'm enjoying roleplaying as an alien trying to make use of the materials available on the planet and figuring out technologies with it
Excellent video
I just have a suggestion: when you make replays of yourself exploring in these custom biomes, don't forget to set your fov to 30 !
Именно, меня тоже очень раздражают реплеи с углом обзора как Quake Pro! Они убивают всю кинематографичность 😢
Fits beautifully into Minecraft's feel of doing what you want with some tools we've given you. Feels more like DLC than a mod
I give Create 0.00001 Gregtechs out of 10 Gregtechs. Conclusion: Not Greg.
not greggy
i'm just leaning into Create and what's drawing me to it, is how I loved immersive engineering and Tinker's construct.
Is it just me or does this guy sound kind of like antvenom?
Create is more vanilla than Mojang's latest updates
I want this so bad on 1.19.4 and I can’t wait till it gets updated
Great video, really give Create the attention it deserves! Wont start a new modpack without Create now days.
correction* its the best "content" mod ever made.
sodium and iris/ its addons are probobly the best non content mods because omg shader so cewl

0/10 mod. Literally unplayable.
This is real and true and actually this whole video doesn’t matter anymore
I think you should have mentioned little animations that really help by explaining how things in this mod work
I wounder if he knows about "Create Aeronautics"
So while the Create Mod can never be added to Minecraft, it is still painful knowing this.
and yet it DOES feel kinda like an expansion pack of sorts
@@velocityraptor2890thats because the style is so good and fits into vanilla

I still like Create's better lol
DOWN WITH CREATE! GREGTECH SUPREMACY! ALL HAIL 1.7.10!!!

Normal pistons with slime blocks became suddenly useless to me.
i can't believe i ever managed to build an elevator in vanilla
whenever im playin without create i can only think to myself "WHERE. IS. MY. SUPER GLUE!?"

I think industrialcraft might be one of the most important and significant mods ever created for minecraft, it layed the groundwork for countless other mods like gregtech
Inshallah you shall play GregTech brother
I few things that make Creat great:
Use other mods like rubidium instead of optifine. It does the same and it works with create

My friend started a server with a modpack with create as the focus, i was reluctant at first but i was amazed at how well it fit with and improves upon the vanilla game. It feels like if mojang made an official dlc or expansion to the game
gregtech is far better imo
