Nah. From my knowledge, a better voice is used from Bushey onwards to Euston on the LO (London Overground) route. So if you're on a West Midlands Train, by the time you get to Harrow & Wealdstone, the voice is a lot nicer.

It’s because they are using OHLE instead of 3rd rail which produces the sound at a different frequency

Yes Pendolinos are electric multiple units; therefore traction is distributed underneath all the carriages!
