You clearly don’t have a little kids that don’t care what the Christmas tree looks like as long as it has colored lights and lots of sparkles and lots of pretty things to look at children do not decorate a tree like that only if you are an adult and have no children around and want to impress your interior designer would you decorate a tree like that nobody I’ve never seen that lives a normal life decorated tree like that especially anybody with kids. That makes no sense. The tree is about the kids whatever lady.
I am a professional. I’m an interior designer with 2 kids! ….anything else you want to get off your chest about something that doesn’t affect you at all? 😂😂

I also have antique Christmas ornament from family members long gone, Christmas pillows made from my late fathers plaid Christmas pants, ornaments from family trips and old black and white Christmas photos in silver frames that hang on my tree. I don't leave those out all year though.

Beautiful, like trees found in stores. To each his own, but my tree is filled with history, memories and sentiment.
